Welcome to our charming 2-bedroom vacation home & ranch in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas! Nestled on a hilltop with STUNNING VIEWS, it's just a 15 minute drive to charming Comfort, TX and a 25-minute drive from Fredericksburg, TX. Our Ranch offers a romantic and relaxing escape for your next getaway! Relax on the porch and watch the sky change colors, or watch the numerous wildlife and birds. You can see deer, foxes, armadillos, road runners, rare birds and more! In the kitchen, you'll find all the essentials- stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, built in microwave, K-cup and drip coffee maker and Folgers Black Silk coffee. Prepare delicious meals inside or out on the pavilion on our propane grill with a view! When it's time to unwind, retreat to the bathroom stocked with towels and basic toiletries, or take advantage of the central air conditioning/heat, comfortable beds & linens to enjoy a restful night's sleep. For added convenience, you can park under our carport, use hair dryer, an iron and board, and a selection of games, books, or just watch the wildlife from big front windows. Whether you're seeking a peaceful big land retreat or a fun-filled adventure hiking the acreage on our property or nearby parks and preserves, this vacation home has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. Most of our guests always think they are going to check out all the nearby towns and wineries, but end up staying at the ranch most of the time to enjoy the views, quietness, birds and wildlife!

The Ranch Retreat is a great place for relaxing and enjoying sunrises and lots of bird music. We so enjoyed all the wildlife and definitely the hill country views they are breathtaking. I would definitely recommend the place.

The property is excellent. Description is very accurate and hosts were outstanding. If you want to experience being out in the hill country surrounded by wildlife, while reasonably close to multiple towns, this fits the bill. Sitting in the shade, with a comfortable breeze, no traffic sounds, and watching foxes and deer walk by at less than 20 feet is simply amazing.

Cute getaway! We loved the beautiful views and all of the fun animals we saw on property. Night skies are amazing! Very quiet and private. Close to Boerne and Fredericksburg and Valerie and Keith were super helpful with suggestions of places to go! Lots of nice trails but it was too hot to try those out, next time for sure. We will definitely put this on our list of favorite places and look forward to coming back.

Our Host was exceptional. The property was detailed very well, with all amenities. Very secluded but yet easy to drive to. Nature was all around and the views were incredible, truthfully a very peaceful get away.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Ranch Retreat. The description of the property was accurate and communication with the Host was good and responsive. The mountain view, hiking around the property, and seeing the wildlife were our favorite parts. We will be back again!

Awesome Getaway- Just what the doctor ordered.!

We loved staying at the cabin. Absolutely stunning views, very secluded and private, but also lots of stuff to do a short drive away. Loved it and will definitely visit again.

We've had three wonderful stays at this incredibly peaceful, comfortable place. So restful to watch the sun set over the hills, watch the birds, foxes, and armadillos, and hike around exploring the property. Owners are very helpful and responsive. Kitchen is well equipped, and there are nice details like binoculars for guests. We'll be back!

Great home with amazing views!

Fantastic secluded cabin

Wonderful cabin! Loved the views from the front porch and all the local wildlife. We had a nice time grilling out and just enjoying the scenery. Great communication from the hosts, everything was perfect and I would love to come visit again

Great Scenic Views!

We enjoyed our stay! Great scenic views and a cozy cabin that was nicely decorated. Keith and Valerie are wonderful hosts and make sure you are taken care of...appreciated the personal care in making sure our stay was enjoyable. My family plans on another stay when we can make it out to the area again.

Serene Hill Country Cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin in the Hill country! It was a great place to use as a base to gather after venturing out in the area during the day. Very quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful , relaxing and peaceful !!

This house was absolutely perfect in every way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The land is stunning, the views are amazing! Such a perfect weekend to enjoy Fredericksburg during the day and return to take in the quiet and peaceful views. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful!

This was my second time booking this rental and I fell in love with it all over again. This is such a beautiful cabin, we will definitely be returning! If your looking for a quiet, private & scenic spot, this is the one!

Lovely home with beautiful views

Very relaxing - we were up on a hill and could see nothing but the nature of the hill country for miles.

Perfect Getaway

The property is set in a quiet and peaceful haven. We had everything we needed and enjoyed walking the trails and all the wildlife on the property. We would definitely come back!

We have lived in this home on weekends and it is a perfect place to get a away from it all! We feel like we are on vacation every time we come here! Guests also notice the awesome view and how quiet it is. It's definitely out in the country. Good restaurants around or cook on the outdoor propane grill (with a view) or in the fully equipped kitchen. Our home is 15 years old and decorated in Hill Country charm! We hope you like it as much as our family does! Valerie and Keith

Best get away from it all! We bought and built this property because of the wonderful views of the Hill Country. You can't see another house from our large picture windows! It's really neat at night to see the stars or during a storm with it's panoramic views. Relax on the porch and look out for 50 miles from our hilltop home! Visit the local wineries and drink a few glasses of wine at sunset admiring the view and the wild life.

Lots of wildlife and birds to observe and enjoy! Awesome views out the many windows or from the front porch. We see whitetail deer, raccoons, fox, armadillos, wild pigs, Sage Jays, Painted Buntings, Hummingbirds and more! Very quiet, secluded and beautiful.
Enjoy our ranch by hiking or sit and enjoy the views and deer, fox, armadillos coming by in the front yard!
Great location for many day trips to the fun and historic towns of the Hill Country or just to be on a quiet ranch with lots of land!
