Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). We had an overall good stay, with a few frustrations worth noting.The house itself is spacious, comfortable, and very well suited for a group — we were 7 people and had plenty of room. The location is extremely convenient, which made getting around easy and was a big plus for our trip.Unfortunately, we ran into some issues. The property is managed by Vacasa, and when we arrived late at night the entry code did not work. We ended up waiting on hold for over 25 minutes before reaching someone who could help us. It was cold, we were exhausted from traveling, and not being able to get in right away made for a stressful start. Once we reached someone, we were able to access the house.The home could also use some updates, particularly in the kitchen. There were no functional pans for cooking, which was disappointing since we had planned to prepare most of our meals there. One of the bathrooms also had a persistent unpleasant smell. To their credit, management did respond and offered suggestions to address it, which we appreciated.In short: great space, comfortable for larger groups, and excellent location — but the property would benefit from better maintenance and a smoother check-in process.
