This historic house, originally built in 1891 but extensively remodeled in the 2020s, features an open design with a full kitchen and large counter space/seating area, 1 queen bedroom, 2 bathrooms with a bathtub and shower, a living room with a queen sofa bed, a small quiet bedroom with a twin bed, and a very big greatroom with a sofa, a dining table and ample windows. With amenities like WiFi, AC, heating, dishwasher, and washing machine and dryer, as well as off-street parking and an open back yard, proximity to downtown, the Salt Lake Latter-Day Saint Temple, to the University of Utah, and to five different hospitals, this comfy house is genuinely welcoming. The owner, a university professor, lives right across the street and will welcome you for a glass of wine sometime if you like.

We had a lovely stay in this historic home nestled in a quiet neighborhood! The home was perfect for the two of us amd had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner is the absolute best and offered so many helping hands with small things while we were there. We would come back just to spend time with her again! Love everyday we were here!

My daughter and I stayed in the house and it was very clean and comfortable. Nice walk to LDS hospital. The host was very responsive. I loved the shower. I would definitely stay there again.

As advertised this is a charming house in a quiet neighborhood. For us it was a convenient home base from which to visit several local ski areas with short drives, then the convenience of downtown SLC each evening for dinners.

We were supposed to arrive mid to late afternoon but flight delays caused major problems and we finally arrived around 2 AM the next morning. We went to enter the property and our host was there to make sure we did not have any problems getting in. That is customer service!The place was great, I would stay there again. Peggy is an excellent host.

What a neat little gem in a wonderful neighborhood! It was quiet and we felt very safe. We loved the fenced yard for our dog and the fact that there were a couple of parks nearby to take her for a run. Margaret was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with! We will definitely stay here next time we’re in the area.

Super friendly host. The house was very unlearn very clean for being a dog friendly place. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard and the 2 minutes away off the leash dog park.

We had no pets. The host lines cross the street. One of the bathroom door's had a locking issue, but the owner came over and we found a solution.The house was well set up.with a large room at the rear with a dining table and sitting area. The bathrooms were modern as well as the kitchen. Since I cook for family and friends while visiting. I could have used a few more cooking pots!. But most people don't feed home cook meals for guests whioe on vacation! The owner was very friendly and accommodating!! Would stay there again !
