Welcome to Eagles View, a contemporary vacation house rental located on a 2-acre quiet desert lot, a short distance from Joshua Tree National Park, California.

Wake up to an amazing bird’s eye view of big sky from this new luxurious 2-story house. Relax and stargaze in the serene evenings from the hot tub and fire pit circle.

Everything you need to feel at home in luxury has been provided for your experience, so that you can enjoy the tranquility of high desert life, in luxurious design with all the modern conveniences.

You’ll especially fall in love with the unique desert views gazing out the oversized upstairs bedroom window while reclining in our leather lounge chair, or stretching out in the comfy king-sized bed.

This house is suited for adventurous adults who appreciate luxurious touches. Please note this house has outdoor stairs to the master bedroom and is not handicap-accessible. Children and dogs are allowed, but be aware that with all-cement flooring, it’s not a baby-friendly property and we require all dogs to be leashed outdoors, due to outdoor wildlife and open property borders.

LIVING ROOM
An open plan dining/living room with high ceilings and colorful seating in front of a Joshua Tree landscape wallpaper mural, to really give you a sense of place. Netflix and Chill with our 55” Roku TV, play a board game or read about the nearby attractions from the coffee table books.

The sofa folds out to a queen bed, paired with a cushy faux down comforter, thick mattress pad and 1000 thread-count 100% cotton sheets. Sunlight streams into large windows that feature insulated black-out shades.

KITCHEN
The front door opens into the spacious kitchen, stocked to prepare meals. Features large island with 2 bar stools that can be used as a dining area.

Facilities include fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, Keurig coffeemaker, dishes, utensils and indoor and outdoor glassware. Coffee station provided, including tea and basic condiments, along with a few complimentary cans of soda and water bottles. Natural cleaning products used.

PATIO
Enjoy the beauty of your desert surroundings by taking your meals right out the kitchen door to the front patio table, and grill on the large gas BBQ. 4 cushioned black rattan chairs with armrests are seated around the table, and an additional 2 patio chairs and side table rest against the house.

The outside of the house is very well lit with lights that automatically come on at dusk, and we have security cameras located in the front and back of the property.

MASTER BEDROOM
The only bedroom in the house is perched high up on the 2nd floor, accessible only via a set of concrete steps and railing just outside the house. You’ll get highly rewarded for the effort with the sprawling view out of two oversized windows, with a leather lounger just in front of the largest one. Pull the insulated black-out shades down at night for maximum darkness during sleep.

Enjoy a king-sized bed with padded bed frame, paired with a cushy faux down comforter and 1000 thread-count 100% cotton sheets. There’s a wardrobe to hang clothes and a luggage rack, and a desk with a lamp for business use. Kick back and watch the 55” Roku TV outfitted with a Netflix account, while you enjoy a complimentary soda or water in the mini fridge.

UPPER DECK
At the entrance to the master bedroom is the upper deck, set with patio chairs and furniture to enjoy your 2nd story view. You’ll find the cushions and table accessories tucked in the outdoor storage bin here, a common practice in the area to stop items from blowing away in the wind while not in use.

BATHROOM 1
The 1st bathroom is to the right of the front door. It’s the smaller full bathroom with gold accents, large modern sink and white granite counters, a stunning blue chalcedony rock slab shower with glass doors, Rainfall shower head and hose spray attachment. Fluffy bath and spa towels with shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.

BATHROOM 2
The larger full bathroom is attached to the upstairs master bedroom. It also features gold accents, a large modern sink and white granite counters, sophisticated black marble rock slab shower with glass doors, Rainfall shower head and hose spray attachment. Fluffy bath and spa towels with shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.

BACKYARD
Enjoy the solitude of this 2-acre desert property in the sprawling backyard area, which includes several small joshua trees, native to the area. Enjoy the ‘big sky’ sunsets or marvel at a sky full of stars above you as you relax in the 6-seater hot tub or lounge around the wooden fire pit.

ARRIVAL & PARKING
Please be aware that the backroad called Fortuna Ave. that leads to this house is a graded dirt road awaiting finishing by city works, not unlike many other rural roads in the area. It’s a bit of a bumpy road for the 1/4 mile between the house and Napa Rd., the connecting street before Fortuna. Once you arrive, you’ll see a large graveled driveway leading straight up to the house where you can park.
