The owner met us, talked for a bit, no problems at all. One mattress was a little soft, but used a different room the next night which was much better. It was clean plenty of space, and a quiet area. We will definately try to get this again if we stay in the area. There were plenty of parks nearby for me and the dog while the wife was having her training and meetings. A good overall experience.

Had a wonderful stay at the property. Very clean. The rooms were nice and the bathroom was great as well. Would definitely stay again in the future.

This is an older property with lots of wear and tear. This best way to describe it is rustic. The appliances are updated but the flooring has lots of stains and is uneven in some areas. The mattresses were also not comfortable.Getting access to the property was the biggest challenge. After two text messages and an unanswered voice mail to the host, I finally contacted VRBO customer service and was able to gain access.

As this is an older property, it does have a rustic charm and some signs of wear and tear, which we strive to address as much as possible. While we have updated the appliances, we acknowledge that the flooring and mattresses may not have met your expectations, and we will review these areas for improvement. We are especially sorry for the difficulties you faced in accessing the property and for any delays in our communication. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention and will work to enhance the experience for our future guests.

Everything was perfect. Had all I needed. And it was so peaceful and relaxing what short time I was there. Hope to go back when I can stay longer.
Look closely you’ll see a few visitors I had the morning I stayed.

The house was great, plenty of room for everyone. My only suggestions would be ceiling fans in the bedrooms or at least a small box type fan. It got a little warm.

I would put up ceiling fans but I wouldn’t want someone to jump up on a bed a be struck by the fin. I value people’s safety and thank you for the suggestion!

We were going to be in the area for the day & thought we would just stay overnight & have a mini weekend get away with our 3 kids ( 1 of which is an infant & learning to crawl) It was a late booking & only for a night. There were no check in instructions, host didn’t answer the messages or phone calls. Had to call VRBO to have them reach out to the host to provide check in info. Online it looked cozy. Nothing extravagant but something for a night in the mountains for our family. When we got checked in the place was FILTHY! Stains on the couch, the carpet, the wood flooring. The wood flooring has serious subfloor issues that truly need to be looked at as it seems unsafe for guests. There was hair in the bathroom, pubic hair in the sheets, taped notebook paper on the inside of the sheets & not all the lights were working. No TVs in the bedrooms.. and the yard had a huge tree that was down. I’m thankful VRBO approved our refund because we decided to just make the 3 hour trip back home that evening instead of staying. Would not recommend this listing for anyone & honestly think VRBO should remove it from their site entirely. #slumlord

We want the cleaning fee waived and refunded for the following reasons.Tthe place was not ready for guests. The beds were not made, laundry was not done, sheets needed to be washed, bathrooms were not clean, towels were not clean. Contacted the owner and he apologized and offered to get someone to clean it up. It was too late. We found the cleaning supply closet had the keys in it so we found the soaps and did the laundry for one of the 3 beds and the towels. We then were able to clean the the bathroom as well. Not what someone wants to do after a long drive.Last, we were not provided an entry code that i could find anywhere and called the owner who was prompt and gave us the code to the door and then the above was what we found.If the cleaning fee is removed, the property is exactly as stated. Nice rustic home in the mountains.
