Buffalo Ridge on Zion Boundary very close to the Park! Gated Community -Hot Tub

Along with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, this scenic mountain home is situated on a very private 1.5 acre lot. You will have an unobstructed view of sunrise through 2 story tall picture windows in the main room. Step outside onto the oversized deck and listen to the silence. From your deck, you will often see deer and other wild life passing within a few feet of the house. Take in the scents of sage carried by the breezes of this southern Utah high desert location. When the sun goes down, gather in the hot tub for a view of the night sky few have ever seen.

Please note, I have a NO PETS policy. This is to insure the cleanest possible preparation for your stay. I actually pay more for the cleaning and preparation than I charge you!

Enjoy the upscale furnishings in a western motif that includes genuine log beds in every room, native american indian artifacts, high-end leather furniture, animal hides on the floor, and artwork supporting the theme name of the house, 'Buffalo Ridge'.

Preparing meals will be a family affair with your fully equipped kitchen featuring high-end stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and 'great room' arrangement. Entertainment will be provided by a 65'" Smart TV.

A vacation at Buffalo Ridge is an experience you and your family will not soon forget. It is a vacation where you will truly be able to 'get away from it all'.

Lovely home, quiet location, close to Zion

The house was perfect for our needs. Linens and beds were nice. Very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Two washers and dryers made laundry a breeze.

Amazing home away from the hustle of Zion

This house was perfect for our trip to Zion National Park! The house is very clean, had everything you could need in the kitchen, spacious bedrooms with extra pillows, and even games and puzzles for the kids. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of hiking. This property is located on the East side of Zion, which gets you away from the crowds of tourists and provides a more secluded experience. The trade-off of this is greater travel time through the park to the visitors center and distance from restaurants and convenience stores, so make sure you hit the grocery store on your way in (as John’s welcome letter tells you to), otherwise you will be traveling 45 minutes to a grocery store in Kanab. Our mistake! We loved the quiet nature and being away from the crowds after spending our days in the park but it does take a bit of time to get down to the visitors center (about 45 minutes) in the mornings for the shuttle so plan well for earlier mornings to beat the crowds. We loved getting to drive through the empty park and tunnels every morning with the sunrises and got some great pictures we intend to print out and put up in our home. Finally, I would like to say that John is an incredibly host. He responds quickly to messages before and during your stay and really has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable!

The Best

Everything about this property is perfect. The description and pictures are 100% accurate. The cleanest house we have ever stayed in. The house is conveniently located near the East entrance, away from the hustle and bustle. We had no issues traveling to Springdale, Hurricane, Bryce Canyon, and Page(Arizona). The communication with John is second to none! Highly recommend staying here!

Great, Quiet Location!

This property is located away from the busy entrance of the park. It is on the East edge and while the drive to the Visitor Center takes about 30 minutes, the views never got old. We enjoyed spending the entire day in the park and then returning to a secluded quiet home. Amazing dark sky, privacy, and lots of wildlife! Frequent deer sightings in the back. The unit really has everything you need, just bring your bags, some groceries, and settle in.

Perfect family home for exploring the parks

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. I have to say this was the best equipped house I ever rented- they had everything you’d want in the kitchen and big sized laundry with detergent. Since stores are a good drive away it is super thoughtful. The hot tub was so appreciated after a long hike and to see the stars

Beautiful Zion getaway

The cabin was beautiful and spacious, very comfortable, clean, well stocked and enjoyed the hot tub. We enjoyed the luxuries of Home while also feeling connected to nature. Our hosts were very responsive, kind and accommodating. Grateful to have found this gem.

Unbelievable Utah!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home near Zion NP! Bryce Canyon NP was a short drive away for easy day-trips, and be sure to check out the outdoor adventures at nearby Kanab, as well as history in St. George. We even saw a Broadway show while we were there at the Tuacahn outdoor venue. The house is just as presented in the online photos. There was ample room for our needs, both in the kitchen & the guest rooms. Decor was understated & gave a flavor of the region. I can't stand too much fussy "folderol," and this place was delightfully comfy & decluttered to create a serene vibe. Enough room to spread out (we only needed 2 of the bedrooms), and each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom (one bedroom's bathroom is a Jack-&-Jill one that opens to the hallway so users needn't traipse through that bedroom to use the facilities. My son liked the dishes so much that he ordered his own set for his apartment! Would definitely stay at this memory-maker again!

Great property

We stayed for a long weekend and went to Zion and Bryce Canyon. House was clean, and in a great location. I would highly recommend. However, there is not much around the area such as restaurants or grocery stores. You have to drive back through Zion to get to Springdale which is about 25-30 minutes or so.

Amazing

This place is absolutely wonderful! We went to hike Mt. Zion and this house was perfect. Very spacious and everyone has their own bathroom with was wonderful. Stargazing in the hot tub was the BEST. If you are hiking Mt. Zion, this property is at the opposite end of the main entrance where the visitor center is and where you would get on the shuttle but the ride was not bad. There are hikes closer to the property within the park that you can just park your car on the side of the road or designated areas. Inwould definitely stay here again. Communication was great! Thanks John for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Utah Cabin

We stayed a week at this gorgeous cabin. It was very clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very nice and the hot tub was enjoyed immensely after all of our hiking! John is an excellelnt host!

Peaceful Retreat

House was perfect for the three adults in our party. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. We made meals in the well appointed kitchen and enjoyed a soak in the hot tub and the serenity of the outdoors.

Wonderful Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at Buffalo Ridge. The property was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. During our stay, we were able to enjoy Zion, Bryce, and Peek-a-Boo slot Canyon. Our boys liked swimming in the pool at Ponderosa Resort in the evenings after our hikes. It was also very relaxing to sit out on the deck at night and look at the stars.

A home away from home in a perfect location!

Our family of 5 spent a week here as a home base to explore Zion and Bryce national parks. The location was perfect and the house is wonderful! Everything is clean and comfortable and set up with everything you need for a home away from home. We enjoyed being able to come back and relax and cook dinner and soak in the hot tub! We appreciated the tips and info from the property owner for some great hikes in the area, places to eat and get groceries, etc! 5 stars all the way around!

Excellent Zion Retreat!

Our recent stay at this Zion Ridge property was truly unforgettable. Very cozy place

Great place, very comfortable and with good amenities. Our family of six members relaxed the afternoons after the Zion hikes. Beautiful star nights to enjoy with a glass of wine in the porch or in the spa.

Great Zion House

Very clean and well stocked home. 3 beds and 3 full baths to match - perfect. Kitchen was large and had everything you needed and more. Laundry machine and dryer were great. Beautiful sunrise and deck. Great hot tub. Would stay at again. Perfect home to return to after hiking.

At Buffalo Ridge, you can truly get away from it all. The peace and beauty of this location is without equal. From the house, you can walk into Zion. The Grand Canyon is a 2.5 hour drive, Bryce a 75 minute drive, many other, off the track, State Parks are also close.
Springdale has become VERY crowded as the popularity of Zion has increased. During the busy months, April thru October, the parking lot at the West/Springdale entrance becomes full. People are directed to park in town!!
The advantages of being on the East side are:
1. Avoiding the crowds in Springdale
2. Having easy access to drive to Springdale for dinner; a wonderful 30 minutes drive
through the park!
3. Having easy access to Kanab, another beautiful drive of 35 minutes in the opposite direction. Kanab has the best restaurant in the area.
4. Easy access to Bryce. It is only a 75 minute drive from the house.
5. Easy access to the off-trail hiking of the East/high desert side of the park where you can hike down any of the numerous washes. You can explore areas where few others go!!
