If you are looking for complete peace and relaxation during your holiday, you came to the right place. Absolute isolation in Park forest Marjan with no neighbors around. Literally 200 m from sea with huge private garden full of shade all day. Outdoor dining area with magnificent view of Dalmatian islands and Split bay. Closeness of many beaches including small sand beach for children, and all sorts of sporting activities (biking, free-climbing, kayaking, tennis and football courts,...).
Our property is consisted of the main house and the small outbuilding/apartment few meters from the house. The main house consists of: kitchen combined with dining and living area; one double bedroom and two single bedrooms which both have queen-size beds; and a full bathroom. The main house is 65 m2, so the bedrooms are rather small but fully equipped (plenty of storage space and one work desk). The sofa in the living room is extendable into bed for two adults.
in front of the main house is spacious patio (with dining area) surrounded by garden which leads to the apartment.
Apartment consists of: small bedroom for 2 persons and a full bathroom; also, it has another extra room which is secondary kitchen, with extendable sofa in case of big groups.
The benefits of our property are the big patio with dining area and a fireplace; the garden with two hammocks, four sunbeds and a swing-set to enjoy the most beautiful view in Split. Also, the nearness of many beaches and all sorts of sports facilities and events (Nordic walking, biking, rollerskating, free-climbing, kayaking, tennis and football courts, outdoor gym...).
During their stay, the guests have complete privacy on the property. However, our guests are welcome to contact me for whatever they need - I would be happy to give recommendations on what-to-do and where-to-go. Also, I can offer a private walking tour through the Old city. For adventurous guests, I offer hiking and cycling tours on Marjan Hill. I can also arrange one-day or half-day speedboat excursions to islands in front of Split (Vis, Hvar, Brač, Å olta, Čiovo, KrknjaÅ”i).
You will have the opportunity to see the Golden horn beach on island of Brač, Green cave and Stiniva beach (UNESCO) on island of Vis, Blue cave on island of BiŔevo and Paklenjaci archipelago in front of Hvar - definitely a thing to do while in Split.
My family can prepare delicious traditional Mediterranean meals with a lot of fresh meat, fish and sea food for our guests. Also we can recommend a nice domestic vines and other beverages. Vegetarian/vegan menus are also possible. It can be arranged for lunch or supper, according to guest's wishes.
That is also an option if you are interested in experiencing a true taste of Dalmatia and its cuisine...

Terrific Stay

6 extended family members stayed for 3 nights, spread across rooms in the main house and the outbuilding. It's a bit outside of downtown, but we really enjoyed that. The views to the Adriatic and surrounding island are so very good. A popular larger beach is a short (10 min) walk down the road, and a smaller beach is even closer. We cooked in the kitchen and on the outdoor grill, soaked in the hot tub and hung out into the evening at the outdoor picnic table. We were able to park a rental car on the road below, and got rideshare pickups a 3 min walk away. We're big fans of our host Borna, and will stay here again if we make it back to Split. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing vacation base!!!

This place is indescribable. Incredible views, complete privacy, beautiful Mediterranean vibe. We were in love immediately!! It's small, but we spent most of the time outside. There is hiking and a "beach" a short walk away you can walk to town. We spent almost a week here and never tired of the view!! It was cool in the evenings and the hot tub was perfect! didn't get

Majestic Stay in Marjan Park

No words can capture the beauty of the location and property. Complete privacy with stunning views yet activity all around. Easy to get to town. There are a few mosquitoes that have amazing talent for getting inside but not enough to be discouragement. You can really tell the place is a labor of love.

Tolle Location mit vielen Optionen

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche im Haus von Borna. Wir waren mit 5 Peronen und unserem Hund da. Mein Mann und ich unsere 17 jƤhrige Tochter und meine Schwester mit ihrem 6 Jahre altem Sohn. Das Haus ist sehr gemĆ¼tlich eingerichtet und verfĆ¼gt Ć¼ber alles, was man im Urlaub so braucht. Unsere 17 jƤhrige Tochter fand es sehr cool, im Nebenhaus ihr eigenes Reich zu haben. Die beiden Terrassen bieten einen wunderschƶnen Blick aufs mehr und sind mit Oliven und ZitronenbƤumen, Weinstƶcken etc. sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Die Kinder haben den Whirlpool ausgiebig genutzt, mein Favorit war die HƤngematte mit Blick aufs mehr. Die StraƟe zum Haus ist nur fĆ¼r Anlieger passierbar, sodass angenehm wenig Verkehr ist. Vom Haus weg kann man ausgedehnte SpaziergƤnge durch den Naturpark machen. Auch der Strand Bene im Naturpark ist fusslƤufig zu erreichen. Der Kiesstrand auƟerhalb des Parks ist ebenfalls in 10-15 Minuten zu FuƟ zu erreichen und fĆ¼r Kinder besser geeignet. Prinzipiell ist auch die Altstadt von Split zu FuƟ zu erreichen. Wir haben mit meinem 6 Jahre alten Neffen ca 45 Minuten gebraucht und daher meist das Auto genommen. ParkplƤtze waren immer problemlos zu finden. Borna war jederzeit fĆ¼r uns erreichbar. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche und kƶnnen das Haus nur weiter empfehlen.

Lovely property, spacious garden.

We had a lovely week staying in the property the garden was a particular highlight. The annex bedroom was quite tight for space as the pictures showed. The location was beautiful and had good access to public transport. We made good use of the house, garden and gym area.

Peaceful, with incredible views!

Our family of 5 adults stayed here. It has the most incredible outdoor spaces! One area has a table and chairs outside the main living space. And, on another level, there is a hot tub, lounge chairs, and a grill and eating space. There are 4 separate sleeping quarters. Though small, it was nice to have separate rooms. One of the beds is in a cute, separate building, but it has its I own bathroom. The hiking in Marjan park was great and the trails were close to the house. Two beaches were within walking distance. Part of our group did deep water solo climbing very near the house. We loved our stay in this beautiful place and hope to come back one day!

Amazing!

We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful villa. The views are absolutely incredible and the Marjan park is an incredible and exclusive place. We really enjoyed how peaceful and private it was but at the same time so close to everything we wanted to see in Split. Borna was a great host and made everything so easy. This is the perfect place to stay to enjoy Split and still have some peace and privacy during your stay. So much better than trying to stay in the old city!

Beautiful views in a peaceful setting!

The pictures don't do the view justice. There are actually 2 levels full of beautiful gardens and spaces for people to have some space on their own. The cottage was very well provisioned. We really loved the quiet setting of the park vs. staying in town. It was a quick Uber ride in. Borno was very prompt in communications and helped to settle any issues even those beyond his control. Certainly a special location!

Our family had an amazing stay at this lovely property in the national park. The cottage was perfectly sized for our family of 4, and the sea views were to die for (esecially in the evening watching the sun go down). The hot tub and location were part of the draw, but the garden was truly delightful and lovely to spend time in. Borna was the perfect host and was very helpful explaining the local area and suggesting restaurants. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

amazing retreat

This is the perfect place for a restful stay in Split! Borne is a great host. He wants to be sure you are happy and comfortable. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is in a spectacular location if you want peace and quiet. At the end of the peninsula, which only allows local traffic, it is busy with runners and walkers by day(very few cars/buses) but at night, everyone has left, leaving you with the tranquility of the sea. We love to walk, and after arriving, we did not use our car. Every day, we walked through the park into town to explore the restaurants and museums. We were too lazy but could easily have taken a ferry to Hvar for a day or done day trips to Krka or Plitvice Lakes. It is hard to describe the serene nights having a quiet dinner watching the sunlight change minute by minute, more beautiful every time! And the hot tub, overlooking the sea was wonderful! We only spent 4 nights at Borne's place but next time we come to Croatia, we will spend our whole time here! Sipping cocktails in the hammock watching the sun set is something that you cannot miss! We hope to be back soon.

Les propriĆ©taires sont charmants et attentifs. Le jardin trĆØs agrĆ©able avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. TranquillitĆ© assurĆ©e. Depuis Split nous avons pu optimiser nos excursions, notre hĆ“te nous a Ć©galement aider Ć  rĆ©server un bateau, la pĆ©riode Ć©tant particuliĆØrement chargĆ©e de touristes. Le coĆ»t des restaurants est en revanche plutĆ“t Ć©levĆ©, Ć  prendre en compte pour son budget.

Traumhafte Aussichten

Das Anwesen ist traumhaft gelegen mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht auf das Meer. Der Garten ist wunderschƶn angelegt mit vielen schattenspendenden OlivenbƤumen. Der Whirlpool ist ein Traum. Die Kinder haben es sich im Nebenhaus gemĆ¼tlich gemacht. Der Weg zum Strand ist etwas weiter als es am Luftbild erscheint, 50 Hƶhenmeter kommen zur Entfernung per Luftlinie noch dazu. Einziges wirkliches Manko waren die Moskitos in der Nacht. Ansonsten hat alles wunderbar geklappt und es hat uns vier sehr gut gefallen!

We had the nicest time at Villa Karina. The property is extraordinary; You can see the ocean through olive trees from both the terraces. You have everything you need, from towels to jacuzzi. We had a lovely time.

Beautiful view of the sea. Borna was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the villa.

This villa has a great view and two different areas to sit outside. It was comfortable and a great place to stay to see the city. We decided to use a Uber for transportation into the city to avoid having to park in Split. We enjoyed our stay at the villa and Split is a must see. We hope to return.

Slice of Paradise!

We loved staying at this little house on the hill! There was plenty of room for our family of four, it was quiet and the view was breathtaking! The hosts were helpful and accommodating and so friendly. We parked our car on the street and used Uber when we didnā€™t want to drive. We are so glad we booked this and really didnā€™t want to leave....

An absolute oasis near Split

In some ways, I'm hesitant to review (share) this property because it is so wonderful, special, and unique. Plus the host, Borna, is exceptional. My family of 5 (3 kids, 2 adults) cherished our 4 days here. Removed from the city, incredible views, rich history. Note that the home has been in the family for 100+ years so there are a few small quirks with it. But none of those took away the sheer beauty and peacefulness of this spot. Highly recommend it and would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect, just perfect!

Borna's house was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. Its location and its layout was just perfect for our family of four. It was comfortable both day and night and the views across the bay were just spectacular and we whiled away many hours just looking out to sea. Despite turning up a tad to early, Borna was a welcoming, great guy and we also got to meet his sister and father. He explained everything we needed to know and much more. Our whole break in Croatia was excellent; none of us wanted to go home back to dreary Britain!
