The Cedars is located in Marion, Arkansas and is 10 minutes from downtown Memphis and it's famous landmarks. The Cedars strives to be the #1 vacation rental in the Memphis area by providing a beautiful, well apportioned, and comfortable home. Previously operated as a Bed & Breakfast, The Cedars was featured in Southern Living. This beautiful home consists of two stories. On the first level is a large living room. There is a large balcony off the living room which is perfect for a cup of morning coffee! The dining room and kitchen are one large room. The kitchen has granite countertops.
There are three bedrooms downstairs. 'The Princess' is a large bedroom with a queen bed. It has it's own private balcony and the use of the hall bathroom.
The 'Master Suite' has a king-size bed, a large private bathroom with a spa tub and walk-in closet. The 'Master Suite' has it's own private balcony as well. The third bedroom downstairs has a queen bed and the use of the hall bathroom.

On the second level is the 'Captain's Suite'. It consists of a private den area with a trundle bed, which sleeps 2. The suite features a separate queen sized bedroom with a spacious private balcony. The Captains Suite is equipped with it own kitchenette as well as it's own bathroom.
Three bedrooms have a flatscreen television, as do each of the living rooms. The house is equipped with cable and wireless internet.

We have stayed here multiple times and Kelsey is always accommodating and willing to help with any knowledge of the Marion/ Memphis area. House is always immaculate and it’s a very quiet area for where it’s located. As always we will be back again!

Great stay at Cedars

We had a great stay at Cedars, the house was huge, very clean and an easy drive into Memphis. Jane was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here.

Great location, great property

The renting experience was as good as I’ve had with Jane. The house was well beyond expectations. It was beautiful inside and out and accommodated our group very well. A great get away!

Absolutely gorgeous and comfortable property!

We enjoyed our stay at The Cedars mansion. The home was very clean and spacious to accommodate our party of 10 family members. The home has some minor repairs that can be made to enhance the guest experience. I would definitely recommend and stay here when visiting the area again. Thank you, Jane, for your hospitality!

Eclipse Friends' Trip

Great home! Plenty of room for everyone! We mostly stayed at the home on the balcony. We only ventured out and traveled to Jonesboro to view the eclipse. The balcony was the best place to relax. If we are ever in the area, we plan to stay at The Cedars again!

Great location near downtown Memphis

Property feels like a journey to the past, beautiful spaces fully separated to ensure privacy. We have a large family and everyone came to visit during our stay. There was so much room for every age groups. Love it

Awesome Family Reunion

We were visiting family in Marion and West Memphis, but wanted our own space. The Cedars was like a palace! For about the price of four hotel rooms, we had massive amounts of space and privacy. It beat sleeping on a blow up mattress at Mom’s house!

Spectacular

The property was simply breathtaking. As stated it’s 10-15 minutes from Downtown Memphis. The beds were heavenly. I’m in the process of booking shortly for a return visit. The host was gracious and kind. I love this place.

Christmas at The Cedars

We pulled in late in the evening and saw a twinkling Christmas tree welcoming us. Our entire stay was delightful, the grandchildren had the most wonderful time playing out and about the expansive property. Jane has truly put her heart and soul into making this beautiful house a home. Loved the kitchen!!!

Business trip success

My team and I stayed at Jane’s lovely home while in Memphis for business. The layout and size of the home was perfect for collaboration as well as personal space. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all we needed, and we were a short ride from the city. Jane was great at communicating too! We will rent this property again if the opportunity arises.

AMAZING!

Jane was a wonderful host. We came in from Chicago and northwest Indiana. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. Our only problem was we wished we stayed more then 2 nights. We will come back!

A magical place

If you're thinking about it, just do it; it will exceed your expectations. The house is lovely, will appointed and has everything you need for a successful get together. The house itself made our trip magical. The location is 10 min to Beale Street, 10 min to the casino. An Uber ride is around $20 at night and $15 during the day.

Fantastic property

Plenty of space, out of the way from busy roads. Train crossing was close and passed by a few times during the night, but was very tolerable. Only gripe we really had were the knives available for preparing food were blunted, dull, and had many knicks in them. Everything else was perfect!

Great Vibes!

This was the most relaxing time! The host was so easy to communicate with. The home was incredibly clean! Each room was themed with lovey accoutrements of shampoo, conditioner, soaps and towels for make up removal. The grounds were beautiful with lots of trees and beautiful landscaping. The kitchen was amazing with all the prep areas and sinks. It truly felt as if you were visiting a royal home. Thank you Jane for your hospitality and gracious hosting!

WONDERFUL STAY

We stayed for five days and it was wonderful. We were 7 adults and two kids under10 and it was a perfect home during our time there. The home is exactly as pictured and described. There was PLENTY of space for all of us. It was very convenient to travel to and from Memphis for our daughters graduation from college, just 15 - 20 minutes away. There was also a great path to walk on near the river that sits behind the home. It's just a lovely place to stay if you are in the area! The host, Jane, was wonderful too! We were fortunate enough to meet her. You will enjoy your stay!

This was our travel group's first trip to Memphis and we opted for this beautiful former B&b. The owners were easy to communicate with and assist us. On our first day there our second floor air conditioning stopped. The same day they brought over an air conditioning unit that kept the whole floor very comfortable. The house is very spacious with a large downstairs kitchen, living room, dinning area as well as three large bedrooms with two bathrooms. The upstairs has a large living room and bedroom. It also has a small kitchen with cooking and refrigerator appliances. The town of Marion is very small but has several gas stations , a nice size grocery store and several small restaurants. The outside of the complex is secluded and fairly quiet. There is a train that passes some distance from the house and it did not bother us. A bonus is a small cafe / bakery about 100 yards from the house entrance. Next to the cafe is the Sultania museum which informs you about a naval disaster the occurred at the end of the civil war. Very interesting. The best part of the house is it is an easy 15-20 minute drive into the best part of Memphis. We loved the civil rights museum which is located on the hotel site where Martin Luther King was assassinated. . It brought back memories of our youth and highlighted the struggles to gain equal rights . We took the Mojo bus tour which included a singing tour guide who gave us a great deal of information about the characters who made Memphis famous .

Birthday getaway

This house was amazing! When you first open the front door you see the beautiful staircase. The bedrooms were nicely done. The living room area was a place everyone could hang out and be comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and had everything you needed. Upstairs was a beautiful suite. The house is only 15 minutes to Memphis. Great for day trips. Jane was great. Answered any questions and replied quickly. Would definitely stay here again and refer it to friends.

The Cedars Mansion was the perfect getaway…

The Cedars Mansion was an outstanding getaway for us from July 21-25, 2022..This home is very spacious and beautifully decorated with a personal touch. The Cedars Mansion is great, because the location was amazing for our group which we tour the Martin Luther King’s museum and Beale Street..After having a busy day enjoying the festivities during the day we was able to retreat back to this beautiful home for peace, serenity, and the sweet calm sound from the fountain out front..The landscape of the gardens and yard was emulate and so beautiful..Thank you Mrs. Jane for being such a wonderful person and host to us and I recommend this home to anyone wanting to tour Memphis…🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾

Hidden Gem in the rough

The property is very spacious such that we could enjoy different locations in the home with our bumping into each other. The kitchen is unbelievable, with large area to cook with the ease. I could go on but space just would allow. Ms Jan the Hostess was the sweetest person I ever met she made sure you had everything we needed. She called and checked on us to make sure we were okay, she is a very nice and compassionate person.

Better than hotel close to Memphis!

We enjoyed our stay at The Cedars while in Memphis for a graduation. The drive was short and no traffic once over the bridge. The house is spacious, nicely decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. We appreciated the comfortable beds and pillows and quiet setting. The owner, Jane, was wonderful to work with and was flexible with date changes and number of guests. She purchased a Keurig after I asked if the house had one and decorated with orange and white balloons for the grad. Thank you for the personal touches and understanding as travel plans and needs changed after booking. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying at The Cedars when we are back in Memphis.

I grew up in Marion, AR where I currently live with my husband Ross and our two children. We are active members of our community and strive to make Marion a great place to live and to visit. We are excited to host you at our unique southern vacation rental. I currently serve on the Marion city council and my husband and I have a logistics company.

The Cedars is a spectacular home. When you walk in you are met with the beautiful two story foyer and stairway to the second floor. The high ceilings throughout the first level give the home and open and spacious feel. The large balcony off the living room provides a relaxing retreat for your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. 3 of the bedrooms have their own private balconies. The 2nd story provides a separate living area with it's own living room, bedroom, kitchenette, and bath. Perfect spot for teenagers to have their own living space.
