An apartment like home!
A large apartment with three different spaces and a large perimeter balcony can only be the ideal choice for your holidays. You open the door, you walk down the hall and explore the spaces one by one. You have a look at the master bedroom with two single beds and a TV, while your gaze falls on the lemon tree outside the window.
Going forward, you see a double bed on the second master bedroom and you have already started to feel the quality of sleep that you will have since you have noticed the mattresses and pillows of the Cocomat company. Looking the kitchen and the living room, you know that you have everything you need to prepare your meals and the comfortness to watch a movie on TV.
The light from the window attracts you and you head to the balcony where you see the natural beauty and the sea and you think that this stay will compensate you to the fullest. You take a deep breath and you know that the journey has already begun. Enjoy your stay!

Melina's House is a family run business & each of us prioritizes your necessity for calmness and relaxion in paraller with the exploration of our place.
For many years, Antonis & Melina have been welcoming and hosting travelers and friends from all over the world. Building their house in the coastal area of Stalos, just 7 km from the cosmopolitan center of Chania, they decided to create a special place where they will invite people who love travelling & are curious to discover the beauty of the place that they do love too.
Stalos has a sense of neighborhood. Family restaurants with traditional food and the sandy beach is just 5 minutes away on foot. Melina's House is located on the road leading to the village of Panos Stalos, giving you the opportunity to hike or bike easily and explore the area's countryside. The most important is the direct access to the National Road from where you can explore the whole island (Our advices will be useful!!!)

- The sandy beach is just 5 minutes away on foot and you can easily visit it several times a day. We especially recommend taking a dip late in the afternoon waiting for the sunset. It is one of our favorite moments! The protected plant Lily of the Sea or Pancratium maritimum, gives a special beauty at the beach.
- Melina's House is on the road that leads to the village of Panos Stalos and so you have the chance to hike or cycle exploring the countryside as well. Olives, vineyards, family gardens and the natural environment of the area will give another touch to your trip.
- Extremely important is the direct access to the National Road from where you can explore the whole island.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
Our family hotel is a living space inside and out. We take care of it as we do with each apartment separately. It is part of our house and our hospitality!
In the surrounding area you will see plants that thrive in the area as well as our small garden with vegetables of the season. The Lemon Tree has an important role in the backyard of the building because it generously offers us the lemons we need for our cooking preparations.
Characteristic is the Herb's Corner that Melina has created on the shared balcony on the first floor. You can smell and see the herbs of our place separately one by one and why not to use whichever you want in your cooking!
The corridor that you follow to head to your apartment is beautifully designed and decorated with photos of special moments and landscapes of our islandn and historical photos as well.
Don't forget to read a book or a magazine from the library that we've been created for years and you can easily find it next to the entrance.
If you need to wash your clothes, there is a washing machine available on common area.
