Are you looking for the perfect getaway? Picture yourself in a cozy Appalachian style log cabin. The soft breeze blowing through the trees while you're swinging on the porch swing sipping iced tea. The views from the porch and windows are of evergreens, hardwoods and the enchanting Smoky Mountains. You have all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. You have a jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bath w/shower, washer & dryer, central heat & air and Weber charcoal grill. You can even nap in the hammock nestled in the trees. The 'tree house' cabin has earned its name because it feels like you are literally in a treehouse when you are rocking or swinging on the covered porch. You are surrounded by nature at its finest. Come for a visit and see why so many of our guests return time and time again.

These rates are for two people, and $10.00 each for additional guests

The cabin was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and had plentiful pillows and coverage. The shower had great pressure. Great porch and rocking chairs. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was so cute and had everything you could need. Perfect size for just a couples weekend getaway. But more importantly, our host was so sweet. She left me a birthday card and bouquet cut from her own flowers.

Our family had a great stay over Valentine's Day weekend. Our first time in Townsend but it won't be our last. It's clear that Melody takes pride in how clean the Treehouse cottage is and she made the weekend feel really special for us with recommendations on what to do with children and the little touches as we arrived and got settled in. Would stay here again!

Melody’s Treehouse was absolutely perfect for our vacation to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. We’ve been visiting Townsend for a few years and always talked about staying for a weekend—this year we finally did, and we’re so glad we chose this spot.Townsend is quiet and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for, while still being close enough to enjoy time in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. When we found Melody’s Treehouse, we knew it was just what we needed.From the moment we booked, Melody reached out within minutes to welcome us, which made a great first impression. When we arrived, we called to let her know we had checked in, and she was just as warm and welcoming, letting us know to reach out if we needed anything.The treehouse itself is quaint, extremely clean, and very quiet—everything we were hoping for in a relaxing getaway. It also has a great jacuzzi tub, a nice porch for sitting and enjoying the surroundings, two beautiful rooms, and excellent water pressure with hot showers.We will definitely be back—this is our new favorite place!

We had an incredible time at the cabin, which perfectly matched my vision. With its spaciousness, cleanliness, and peaceful atmosphere, it was the ideal getaway. The rocking chair with its stunning view was my favorite spot. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

It was a sweet quiet cabin in a safe area. Very clean and nicely decorated. It was 6 minutes to the Tuckaleechee Caverns and close to town. I would rent again.

I'm a country 'girl' who grew up on a dairy farm in northwest Wisconsin. I have lived here in Townsend for 34 years now. I live on the 8 1/2 acres where the Treehouse cabin is located. I also have a log cabin which I love.

I am blessed to own one of the most beautiful tracts of land in Blount County. It is also very close to the Smoky Mtn. Natl. Park. I can ride my horse right into the Smokies. There are three trailheads under 3 miles from the Treehouse cabin. Guests love to hike in the Park, or even just go for walks here in our valley which is called Dry Valley.
