43 Villas Pappagallo is located in West Bay, Grand Cayman and is situated in a private condo complex next door to a nature preserve. Enjoy beautiful, poolside relaxation, excellent snorkeling and world class dining a few steps away from your front door.

Our condo is spacious and well appointed, spanning two floors and 1900 square feet and is perfect for two couples. The condo has four balconies with beautiful views of the pool and the ocean from one side and the nature preserve from the other.

Great trip!

Villa Pappagallo 43 was beautifully maintained and Dave was super helpful and informational. It was the off-season (late June-early July) so we had the pool and beach area mostly to ourselves! We had a great trip and would definitely stay here again.

Family stay at villas pappagallo

We stayed for a week, the unit was just as described with beautiful ocean views. We sat on the balconies every day to eat or hang out. The kitchen is very spacious, great for cooking a group meal.

I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Papagallo and would return. The owner was very responsive. The grounds were delightful and it's right next to Barkers Park. The condo itself was perfect. Highly recommended!

Fantastic!

Perfect sized condo for a family of 4. The condo itself was in a quiet location, clean, and just as described. It was a short drive to Seven Mile Beach and lots of different snorkeling areas. Everyone enjoyed the pool, weather, and activities.

Awesome stay!

Dave did a great job communicating and attention to detail at the condo was outstanding. There were plenty of dishes, pots/pans, spices to cook with, etc. it is clear that he takes pride in his real estate.

Great experience at 43 Villas Pappagallo

The condo is lovely and well-supplied. The view is gorgeous. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet beach and pool area to relax. The owner couldn’t be more responsive, providing detailed instructions for the drive to the property; information regarding local groceries, car rental, etc.; and immediate feedback to any questions. All in all, a wonderful experience. I would stay here again.

There was a beautiful view of the sea from the living room and main bedroom. The beach was a 2 minute walk through beautifully landscaped grounds. We were away from the busyness and hubbub of Georgetown but other beaches, restaurants and shops were 10-15 minutes drive away. Nice restaurant (only open for dinner I believe) directly across the (quiet) street. George, who manages the property was friendly and helpful.

Perfect Christmas Beach Vacation

We couldn’t be happier with the location of Villa Pappagallos! A mile of quiet beach in either direction … the peace and quiet makes you feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile beach, yet it’s really only a short drive to anything you need. Unit 43 is well kept and the owner was fantastic to work with (excellent communication before and during our stay). The condo was clean, the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make a few meals during our stay, the beds were comfortable, and the view from the balcony was amazing for morning coffee! Thanks for the wonderful vacation! We hope to be back again!

Disappointed.

Lovely location but pool was being refurbished and we did not know till 4 days before our trip. The owner gave us a discount on the nightly rate but it would have been good to know much earlier in advance that there was a possibility that the pool would be unavailable.

Beautiful, quiet location for relaxing trip

Very quiet area of Cayman. There is a really nice restaurant right across the street but everything else is at least a bus ride away. Catching a bus is easy, but requires roughly 1/4 mile walk from unit, and then the wait for the bus. Highly recommend renting a car for ease of getting around.The unit: very nice 2 bedroom unit. Beautiful view from living room and master. There is a flight of 15 steps just to get into the unit. And then bedrooms and BOTH baths are on the second floor. Both couples thought the beds were way too soft and very uncomfortable. The owner stated heis going to replace them, but verify. Kitchen super well equipped. Kindly supplied us with coffee on check in. Provided beach towels. Bedding and bath towels very nice. The complex is VERY quiet. At least in January. Had the beach and pool to ourselves most of the time. You can snorkel right off the end of the dock. George the groundskeeper is super kind and helpful. The grounds are clean and well-kept.

Nice View but...

As previous reviewers have mentioned, this is away from the crowds and offers a nice view of the beach. It is adjacent to a trash strewn National Park that is appalling to walk along (both beach and road) but is pretty secluded. But, here are the reasons for rating it low. While the view is nice, the beach is unusable due to the waves and coral. You will have to drive to another beach. The pool is unusable because it is freezing, even though it has been in the 80's. It is not heated and the only ones that use it are brave kids. The pictures also show what looks to be a hot tub but it is a kiddie pool. They do have an area that has jets, but again, no heat. One of the worst parts of all is the God awful smell of the septic/sewer when you walk into the condo from the parking lot. You literally have to hold your breath and the balconies on that side cannot be used due to the smell. If I returned to the island, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

Relaxing Island Stay

Well maintained and nicely decorated 2 bedroom/2 bathroom with lots of amenities. Very nice owner with thorough run down of island, directions and use of electronics in the unit. Would definitely stay there again.

Property very clean. Good value for the price. Close to main attractions and dive locations. Beach so so because of the sea grass but close to great sandy beaches on the north end of 7 mile beach. Would diffently stay again

Beautiful property & a pool with a view!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at 43 Villa Pappagallo in February. The condo is modern, clean and well equipped. It has a large open living area with digital cable TV, dining area, and a spacious kitchen with all the appliances/ necessities. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds. There are also beautiful views of the community pool and the beach/ocean from both porches. We enjoyed the quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of 7 mile beach and Georgetown, but were only a short drive from everything (remember to drive on the left side though!). We snorkeled at several of the recommended areas on the island, but we found the best snorkeling to be off the dock/beach in front of the condo. The property manager greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the condo. He was available if needed, but we had no issues during out stay and never needed to contact him. We have stayed in VRBOs on several Caribbean islands over the last 10 years and Villa Pappagallo is definitely one of, if not the, nicest place we have stayed. We will definitely be back!!! Rent this property, fill up the cooler, head to the beach, and forget your troubles.

Excellent & Secluded villa

My family and I spent a week in Villa Pappagallo #43 for Christmas. We had an excellent vacation! The owner is extremely helpful and always responds promptly! He provides all necessary information and MORE! And he is extremely willing to help you with any questions you may have about the area. The villa was nicely furnished and has breathtaking views!! The checkin and checkout process are super easy! The location of this place is amazingly secluded & private, yet super close to everything! Very quiet place. Felt as if we were on a private island. Not crowded at all! Thank you for a fantastic Christmas vacation! We will definitely return!

Laid back vacation

The caymans are a great place to do nothing. By that I mean lay on the beach, lay around the pool, read a book, go out to eat, see the stingrays etc. etc. etc. and papa Gallos seems to be the best spot there.

We love Grand Cayman!

We had such a great trip to Grand Cayman! Dave was wonderful to work with and was quick to respond to our questions. Perfect location in a quiet area. Never had a problem getting chairs to relax in on the beach or by the pool. We could see the sunset from the dock or just a short walk down the beach- beautiful! A great restaurant across the street, we went there twice. Easy drive into town to rent snorkel gear and get groceries. We drove out to Rum Point twice- no problems. Loved the Bioluminescent kayak tour with Sweet Spot and the Stingray/cave tour with Captain Marvin. Smith Beach in George Town was great for jumping off the rocks. Snubaed down to the Wreck of the Cali- so easy even if you’re not a diver. Condo had everything and was just a short drive to Calypso Grill and Catch- both amazing seafood. Also had lunch twice at Macabara and had hoped to snorkel there but it was too rough when we went with our gear- next time! We will be back and would definitely stay at 43 Villas Pappagallo! Thank you Dave!

Lovely getaway from it all

First, outstanding host. Dave was all about getting us what we needed from the very start. The unit is well furnished from the towels, the kitchen, to the tech. The couch was too comfortable and I could barely peel my son off of it to go diving. The ocean and dock are just a 90 second walk away with the pool in between. Beds were comfy and the showers had great water pressure. Location wise we were 10 minutes away from our boat dives and shore dives with several excellent restaurants near by and a several grocery stores. This just became my go to place for the island.

Great trip to go Kite Boarding

Beautiful condo. Nicely maintained. Owner was extremely helpful and good at communication. It was a painless process and he was very quick to refund our security deposit. Only drawback was lack of bathroom on the main floor. It is a 2 bedroom condo on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a quiet complex. You will do lots of stairs. Nice pool to sunbath. Plenty of beach towels and a well appointed kitchen. I love to cook and had everything I needed except for a garlic press.

We were impressed with the unique location of Villas Pappagallo and quickly decided that we wanted to make the island a part of our life.
