Pictures can't really describe how beautiful this place is. We had an amazing, relaxing time. They have everything you might need for your stay and more. Communication was smooth and easy.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property is beautiful and remote, but within a short drive into Glenwood Springs. Highly recommend staying here!

Scott and Kathyā€™s place was beautiful and the views from the cabin were spectacular!! It was the perfect place to disconnect from busy-ness and enjoy the peace and quiet up on the mountain. The cabin had everything we needed including a really nice gym! Would definitely stay here again!

This is a fabulous cabin in a gorgeous location for those who want to get away from it all. The layout was great. It had all the amenities and accessories you could want in a VRBO. Iā€™d definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect mountain getaway!! Scott and Kathy were so thoughtful with the details in the cabin and even left me a jar of honey from the mountain as a gift for my birthday! Beautifully designed and amazing views. Will definitely be booking this place again.

We had very relaxing and peaceful stay here! The cabin is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. We were hiking Hanging Lake and visiting Glenwood Springs, and the cabin was a bit out of the way for us. But as long as you plan accordingly and are prepared for that, you will have a wonderful stay here!

Gorgeous getaway far from the hustle and bustle

This place was a gem, hidden away! Everything about the decorations and comforts were carefully and thoughtfully appointed, down to the makeup wash clothes and high quality, spa-like shower products. All the blankets and pillows were so comfy as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the hosts were incredible and quick to respond!

This remote cabin was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the peace and quite of just sitting on deck watching the chipmunks play. Teenage grandsons enjoyed the gym and cooking on the grill. Pack your bags and grab groceries before you head up the mountain and enjoy!

Every morning having coffee outside watching birds, golden ground squirrels, rabbits, and rabbits stretch and wake up was the way to find joy in the morning. Inside, the kitchen made breakfast a breeze. The rest of my family worked out everyday. If I could afford a month of this serene cabin I would reserve it.

The place was very clean and the view of the mountains were amazing. There was plenty of wild life, we saw chipmunks, hummingbirds, rabbits, deer, and what I believe was an elk. Just be aware the cabinet is about a 25 minutes drive up the mountain and an additional 5 from town. I recommend you go down in the morning, spend the day in town before heading back up for the night!

Hidden gem for a relaxing mountain getaway

Our family had a fantastic stay at this hidden gem! The location is a bit of a trek-about 25-30 minutes to the hot springs, but has stunning views from the patio. The cabin was impeccably clean, and the layout made it perfect for our family of five. The host, Scott, was super gracious and made us feel welcome, the jar of honey was a great touch and also delicious. The cabin was stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen, and the gym was great to get in a workout. We loved the decor, such as the swivel chairs to enjoy company or turn and admire the view. Our only advice would be to take the Cattle Creek route on Google maps, its a bit longer drive but paved for majority with 2 car width throughout. We would definitely returnā€”highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway!

We planned our trip so we would arrive just after check in time while it was still daylight. We followed the driving instructions given by our host which were spot on and got us there.What a wonderful property. We had picked up dinner in town and had nothing planned until late the next day so we were in for our first night. Everything we needed was there, from kitchen utensils to cooking equipment. We watched a movie and enjoyed our dinner. Everyone slept great. I was in the bunk room and had the best nightā€™s sleep in quite a while. The boys went for a short jog in the morning. Everyone got their workout in via the well-appointed workout room. We were all entertained by the antics of a couple chipmunks that came up on the deck railing. We watched hawks soaring overhead and just enjoyed the scenery in general.The views cannot be beat! We got up in the morning to see a light dusting of snow on the high peaks in the distance. In the afternoon, we drove down to town for our late afternoon and evening activities. We were back late evening and all had another great nightā€™s sleep.Scott, our host, was responsive and helpful all throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this property!
