I really enjoyed my stay at this loft! If I ever return to Des Moines, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s in a great location—nestled in a quiet, charming neighborhood. I felt completely safe walking from the loft to the Capitol after dark to take photos, which says a lot about the area. Highly recommend!

The unit was very welcoming right as we walked in. Location is amazing. We have ZERO complaints about our stay. We will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend staying here.

Great location, neighborhood had a surprisingly safe feel for such a central downtown location. We walked a few blocks to the Capital building and a short 10 minute walk to the Casey center for a concert. The place was great, I loved the charm and character of the interior brick and loft feel. The unit was well stocked, great easy instructions from the owner, we enjoyed staying here and would recommended.it was a bonus to have easy free access reserved parking on premise.

Really enjoyed the luxurious vibe of the rental. The walk to the capitol building and local shops was enjoyable. I had read in the reviews about the noise at night and didn't think to bring a noise machine, should have brought one.The host was very attentive. We enjoyed our stay.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE

The property was amazing and everyone enjoyed the stay there. The hosts were wonderful and were easy to communicate with. The property itself was amazing. Plenty of room, huge balcony and right in the heart of East Village which was amazing. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shoppe, etc to check out and have fun.Would definitely stay there again!!! Thank you!!

I rented this Vrbo for my son and his family, from Colorado. The noise, including load music, from the bar below them kept them awake each night. They left the loft after three nights, cutting their stay early. I’m hoping to get a refund. It’s too bad because the loft is lovely and the host is very responsive.

I absolutely loved my stay at this industrial-style themed apartment! The decor was modern and chic, giving the space so much character. The balcony was the real star of the show—perfectly situated overlooking Locust Street with a view of the Capitol in the distance.This spot is ideal for summer festivities in Des Moines. Whether you’re here for the local events or just want a cool place to relax, it truly captures the vibrant energy of the city. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We loved this unit! It has high ceilings, a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a relaxing living room that opens to a huge balcony with a gas grill—perfect for people-watching. The location is ideal for walking around downtown Des Moines, with great restaurants, bars, and nightclubs all nearby. Communication with the host was great too. The Saturday Farmers Market is just a short walk away and an absolute must-do, as is a visit to the historic Courthouse.The only downside is that the property sits on a busy street directly across from a popular music venue. When there’s a concert or DJ event, the noise level can be quite high and hard to escape.

Very nice refurbished loft with high ceilings, great kitchen and deck area and gated parking area in front of building. In addition the hosts seemed good as well. The only down side for us was that the north wall that the bedrooms are on was not refurbished with a sound insulation barrier and the outside noise is very loud. Just an exposed brick wall. We were not able to get to sleep until about 3:00am as people were filing out of the bars along the street to party (this was a Wednesday night!). It sounded as if these people were in the room with us. Luckily it finally started to rain sending everyone home and finally able to get a couple hours sleep.
