This charming pet and family-friendly house is located just blocks away from the State Capitol and some of the country's top hospitals including UAMS, Children's Hospital, Baptist Hospital and St. Vincent Hospital. With easy access to I-630, you are just minutes away from the Clinton Library, Museum of Discovery, Arkansas Arts Museum and Little Rock Zoo.
Accommodations for up to 10 guests depending on reservation. Price based on the numbers of guests. Ideal for business travelers, couples and families. Give your family and friends a touch of home while visiting for special events such as weddings and anniversaries. Special rates available for medical guests and their families.
Originally built in 1935, the cottage was renovated in 2009. The original architecture was maintained and modern conveniences were added such as stainless steel appliances, ceramic tile and granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms, cable, flat screen TVs, gas fireplace, internet accessibility, and a security system. Other features include central heat and air, an open floor plan, and hardwood floors. The house also offers a cozy electric fireplace and two covered porches.

This honeycomb hideaway was the best choice! It felt like home. The spacious kitchen, open floor plan, eclectic decor, and high ceilings with crown molding made us all feel like royalty! Our toddlers loved all the toy options,(the train table and Legos especially) and the ducked off space for them to sleep was so unique! We all particularly loved the private patio/balcony, which was perfect for early morning coffee in your pajamas and blowing bubbles in the evening. Everyone had more than enough space and we slept very well! Exquisite job Ruth Vasquez, you are a wonderful host!!

Sooo comfy!

Very well taken care of and clean. With two living areas, one with TV and the other with a fireplace and open floor plan you’re never over crowded. Kitchen has everything and more than you will need.FYI the bedrooms upstairs are connected and you have to walk through the main Bedroom to reach the 2nd and the Bathroom is accessed through the main bedroom. Works well with really good friends or families with small children. The owner/manager was always available and quick to respond.

Great house and location

The house was very clean, cozy, and very well sound insulated. Being close to highway the house stays quiet and comfortable. Plenty of room and really nice set up. Was nice to be able to park off the street and behind the gate. Really enjoyed our stay and the great communication from the host. Would recommend highly.

Perfect for family

This property was amazing! It exceeded all of our expectations and was perfect for our family. The house was spacious and well equipped with anything we might need. The location was ideal and had the weather been warm, we would have enjoyed the outdoor spaces too. We hope to stay here again during future visits to Little Rock.

Little Rock trip

House was easy to find and convenient to anything in Little Rock. Living room was bigger than expected. Bedrooms were comfortable, with some traffic noise since it is located next to hi-way.

Beautiful home and great value

The home is beautiful and accurate listing. The property owner was very responsive. The only thing I would point out is the noise from the traffic. The convenience of being right off the interstate so close to UAMS (our requirement) meant it was really noisy. The noise was muted when in the house but very loud outside.

Beautiful home; was not clean when we arrived

Check in was 3. We arrived at 315. House had not been cleaned. Contacted the owner and she was very responsive. Lack of local news channels was a little annoying ( but had an abundance of streaming apps). Overall the home was very good and met the needs of my family. Not the most picturesque location and very near the interstate (was not very evident inside the home). Would rent again if my needs are the same in the future.

Family Fun

This property was great for our family of 10- 6 adults and 4 grandsons ages 2,5,7 & 8. Separate areas for both our son and daughter’s families and a great room for us. Plenty of room to all be together for games and meals. Very close to the Children’s Museum and the splash park near the river—easy drive of a few minutes to each. Grandparents enjoyed the Clinton Library and state capitol building after everyone else headed home. Would stay here again!

Friend gathering

This home is beautiful, immaculately clean, big enough for large gatherings, with attention paid to the details that make you feel at home. It is walking distance to the Capitol and within a half block of a long display of beautiful artistic murals that show a desire for social justice and freedom. It is only a five minute drive to historic Central High School national park and a tad more to the Fine Arts Museum, both a must-see for out of towners. Highly recommended five star home away from home.

Very comfortable home

Thus home was perfect for our group that traveled for our grandson’s graduation from Harding University. The house was very clean, adequately described in listing, and Ruth made sure we had everything we needed. We were concerned about the location’s proximity to I-630 but it never bothered our sleep. We would definitely choose Ruth’s home again in the future!!

Eclipsed Our Expectations!

Yes, we stayed here for our trip to Little Rock for the eclipse, and I don’t think we could have found a more perfect place! The pictures do not do it justice. The outdoor space was outstanding. We were a little concerned about the proximity to the interstate, but the property is situated and landscaped to where the dead end location was beautiful and outstanding for outdoor gatherings (it was a perfect setup for boiling crawfish)! To say the inside was clean and wonderfully set up is an understatement! We spent an equal amount of time inside, too, because the house is perfectly set up to entertain! It is stocked so incredibly well, which was a fantastic surprise! We literally needed for nothing while we were there, including cookware and tableware. We have yet to stay in a VRBO that has the pots we need to cook something like a gumbo, but this kitchen blew us away with what it offers. With the exception of some random appliances you might have in your own kitchen, everything you might need is supplied. My 3 and 6-year old were even mind blown. They had an amazing time with the toys and books and wanted to move in to this house by the end of the trip. Kudos as well for the stellar selection of media entertainment! The owners’ considerations taken to ensure the property caters to any and all is the epitome of what a VRBO should be for its guests! Make this your first choice for a stay in Little Rock!!

Birthday party

Our overall experience was very good. The property was well represented. Very nice house and roomy enough for us all. The only problem was that we had ants in the kitchen both mornings when we woke up. It wasn’t just 2 or 3 ants it was a lot. So you might want to have an exterminator come out and spray.

We are originally from Mexico, and we moved to Little Rock to get into the landscaping and construction business. Little Rock has been our home for 25 years. We have a family of six and we travel a lot. Our favorite family vacations were to Disney World and NASA space center, but nothing compares to being at home in Little Rock. During one of our trips, we realized how convenient it is to rent a house instead of hotel rooms for our large family. So with our knowledge of construction and lawn design, we decided to put our minds together to offer a quality vacation home in Little Rock!

We bought this house in 2009 and immediately feel in love with it! With close proximity to the historic and business districts and the easy access to the freeway, this is an ideal place to get away.

Located near many of the state's best attractions including The Rep and the Clinton Presidential Library, this cottage offers a unique sense of a home away from home.
