The place was beautiful and a great location. However the dishwasher looked like it was moldy in the bottom. Also this has nothing to do with our individual condo but the complex pool needs to have at least a few umbrellas. After being in the sun at the beach all day it would have been nice to sit in some shade while winding down at the pool! Some of the quilts had stains and one of the upstairs remotes had a sticky substance on it! Although these are fairly minor I feel like the owner should know about them so they can be addressed! But we still had a great stay!

Great location

We enjoyed staying at this property. The communication with the owners was very responsive. The property was clean and comfortable. There was a short boardwalk to the beach. Property was located close to grocery and restaurants. For reference we stayed here with our adult kids.

Nice condo and an ocean view.

Wonderful condo and view. Perfect for 4 adults. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was quite adequate with a working ice maker!! Two improvements: 1. Replace the stairway floor covering. Incredibly noisy material or poor installation 2. Upgrade the patio furniture. It’s seen better days.

Amazing View!

The property was as described and we appreciated they included dish and laundry soap (most rentals where we have stayed only provide enough for one load as part of the check out process, and no extra garbage bags). The floors could use a good mopping, as one of the other reviews said, but otherwise things were clean. The views from the upper and lower balconies were amazing. We have stayed at many "ocean front" condos over the years but none before had an actual ocean view. It was wonderful to have my morning coffee looking out at the ocean and hearing the waves. We didn't figure out the slips of paper with our check in/out date were parking passes until day 2. Simply putting the words "parking pass" on them could help, or referencing somewhere in the materials that there are parking passes included. Also we never figured out where the modest fitness center mentioned in the description is located, but we ended up getting plenty of exercise on the beach and in town so it wasn't a deal breaker.I really appreciate this is a smaller complex than many others. The walk to the beach and the pool were only a few minutes. We've stayed at other complexes where it was much more of a hike. Overall it was a great stay.

mom and daughter get away

My 5 year old daughter, my mom and I wanted to spend a few days in St. Augustine, the condo we stayed in was wonderful. Great beach views well kept and clean. It was just a walk across the board walk to the beach and a short walk to the pool. The only dislike that we had was not major by any means, there was no hot tub and to get to the pool you had to walk all the way around another building as well as there was no entrance near our building. (That was not that big of a problem at all). Comfortable beds, cable TV. Great amenities and a kitchen well stocked with dishes. Lots of towels and they even had lawn chairs and a beach umbrella. It is only about a 10 minute drive to downtown. Several options even closer for food along with a grocery store, Wal-Mart and a dollar store if you forget anything. I would definitely stay here again. I can't wait until my next trip to St. Augustine.

Yes, some of the furniture and appliances have aged a bit but it was delightfully homey and inviting, not sterile and cold. Just what we'd expected from the photos and just what we'd hoped for.The view of the ocean from our 2 balconies was spectacular and we thought ourselves more fortunate than other renters. We enjoyed the pool, the easy ocean access, and the location. Reception staff enthusiastically helped us with information on nearby restaurants and tourist directions. We would DEFINITELY rent this unit again.

Nice basic condo with great beach.

Nice ocean views with easy walk to beach. Condo layout is good but know that things are very bare bones. No coffee provided whereas many condos we stay in have the single use filtered coffee packet to drop in the coffee maker. Sheets and pillows are not good quality and the comforters are very thin and drab. No beach towels provided. Better instructions would be helpful in terms of actually where the garbage room is located. You are expected to do a lot of clean up prep on your own although it is fully disclosed. Management was very responsive to issues we has with a circuit breaker and lack of laundry detergent to start the clean up process. The condo was perfectly fine and we had a great visit.

Good, but could be better

There was dust & dead bugs on the floor throughout the condo. We had to vacuum all the floors and wipe down the kitchen counter & dining table due to dust & residue. That’s a bit annoying considering we drove 2 hours to stay here. The agency called immediately after I sent an email that it was less than desirable upon arrival & offered to have the cleaners return, but if they couldn’t do it correctly the first time, why would we want them back? Just a bit of a letdown. Other than the lack of cleanliness, we enjoyed our stay & the view from this condo is absolute perfection. Hopefully, they’ll change cleaning services and next time will be better!

Nice Beach, but wouldn't stay there again

The beach was very nice and the condo is generally as advertised. The neighborhood is quiet and our teens enjoyed the basketball/tennis courts/pool. The floors were vacuumed, but not mopped upstairs and our socks and feet were black by bedtime the first night. We did not call the office to complain since we had our stuff everywhere by that time. The dishwasher was moldy and gross looking but I called and they did send someone out with bleach to clean it. They could use additional lamps/brighter bulbs in the living room and the whole unit is very dark (dark painted walls) and there were dead bugs in the dining room light (including a dragonfly, so easy to see). The stairs are extremely loud, small and have a dangerous lip on the edge of each step. Also, we had 6 people staying and there were only 6 towels and 6 washcloths. I had to do 2 loads of laundry every single day because the washer was so tiny (had to wash our beach towels in second load). Not what I planned to do on vacation.

Close to everything, but secluded enough to be quiet and peaceful.

We came down for a long weekend in August, and absolutely loved the location. We've stayed in St. Augustine for years, but this was the first time at Sea Place. This townhouse looks directly across the pool toward the ocean, which we could see from both levels, and the back is facing the homes. We didn't have anyone else in our building for the first night, and one family was next to us for the second night. It was incredibly quiet the whole weekend, which was wonderful. Nothing is worse than having a noisy environment keeping you up when you're beach-exhausted! The layout was fabulous. Since there are 2 bathrooms between the master bedroom and the other bedroom, no one complained about snoring or the tv. The unit was very clean and well-maintained. The sliding glass doors were easy to open and close, which has been a problem in other places we've stayed. The kitchen was great- I don't normally see a full pantry closet, so this was a pleasant surprise. The walk wasn't terrible, but do keep in mind that there are also stairs outside which lead up to the front door, so you will definitely get a workout. The beach is fabulous too. I know the sandbars change, but when we went, the slope of the beach and the sandbars were gentle enough that there was virtually no undertow or ledges to stumble on, and the tidal pools were a young child's dream. We will definitely keep this property in our 'favorites' list!

Absolutely perfect!

Our condo was stunning! Loved the decor, amenities and the location to everything! As a family of 6, it’s often hard to find a place that will work for us, but this did it! Just a short walk to the pool and ocean made it easy for access. We will for sure be back!!

Hoped for better

Let's start with the positives: Check-in process went smooth. The unit is in a good location with a good view of the beach. Some parts of the unit have been updated like the kitchen counters. Now for the not so positives: Only one beach access card was provided for a family of four. You must have a card to get on and off the beach. Linens were missing/non existent in kitchen and several of the bathrooms. Only one hand towel for three bathrooms. No dish towels or dishcloths. There was a sponge in the sink but it was moldy and smelled. Water pressure was the worst we have ever experienced. Water pressure at the beach is typically low to begin with, but it was difficult to use the showers. The roof on the building was being replaced and workers were on our balcony at 7:30 am setting up ladders and climbing onto the roof. We could hear and feel the hammering above us. No where did it mention the building would be under construction during our stay. Property Management = 0 stars Property management support was non existent. We arrived at the unit at 3:15pm on a Saturday. Upon noticing missing items (noted above) we promptly called at 3:30pm and spoke with a receptionist. We were told they would forward our message to the office which was open until 5:00pm. At 4:30pm we had not heard back so we called again. We were told since it was not an emergency. and I quote "like the building is on fire", we would likely not hear back. I then proceeded to email the contact in our arrival instruction email. We never received a response during our stay and nothing since.

Very pleased and loved the area

We absolutely loved this place. Pictures were very accurate. Not sure why there weren’t more current reviews which almost made us past this property up. Everything was very clean. Kitchen was very well stocked. Lots of towels blankets sheets pillows. No beach towels but didn’t expect that. Only watched main tv which was very good. We’re TVs in other rooms but didn’t turn on. Air conditioning worked great. The grounds were very nice as well. The main large pool had no one in it the two times we were in it. The pool close to the building was very nice and clean also. There was definitely the view of the ocean from the top balcony. The beach was awesome. Not very crowded and very clean. You could drive onto the beach but we decided against that as the walk to the beach from the condo building was very convenient and scenic. Because of covid-19 we did not get to visit the city/area bet it would have been great. Will plan to come back we thoroughly enjoyed all aspects!

Very nice apartment to stay when visiting St.Augustine. It has ocean view and is 15 mins away from St.Augustine Downtown. It has a full service kitchen and plenty of towels, pillows, and bed linen. The community is very quiet and tranquil.
