Private well-equipped eat-in kitchen with basic supplies like coffee, sugar, cream, oil, vinegar, napkins, towels, spices etc.

Private bathroom with a shower, soft towels, a hairdryer, shampoo, and hand and body soap.

Queen-sized bed (160 cm x 200 cm) featuring a memory foam mattress. Bed linens provided.

Sofa bed that can accommodate up to three guests. Please tell us your preferred set up.

1st floor above ground. No lift.

Historic two part apartment, access your private kitchen and private bathroom by walking across a short landing through the common spiral stairwell. See photos. Kindly acknowledge this unique feature before securing your booking.

There is a common laundry room on the main floor. To use the washer and dryer, you'll download the WeWash app. Instructions, laundry pods, baskets, drying rack, iron, ironing board are also provided for your convenience. (Chf 8/load/machine)

Store your bags before check-in and after check-out

Travelling with a group? You can reserve multiple apartments all in the same house.

We are not able to accommodate children under 2 years old.

• The Bern Visitor Tax is NOT INCLUDED in your booking fees. Collected in Cash upon arrival 5.30 CHF/per person over 16 years/per night (reduced rate of 1.50 for ages 6-16, free under 6)..

• Price is quoted as double occupancy in one bed, when traveling as 2 people and if requesting the sofa bed too, there is a one-time 25 Swiss Franc linen fee.

Lovely stay at this property, fantastic location in the heart of the old town. Easy to walk to all key sights and nearby cafes/ restaurants/ bakery. Apartment beautifully furnished and kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Bern.

What an incredible property! The hosts are amazing and strive to create a 5 star experience for their guests achieving the goal easily. From the quality linens to the modern kitchen and excellent furnishings the guest’s comfort is considered. The location of the property is exceptional-within walking distance to all major landmarks and the train station. We loved staying in this beautiful apartment in Bern. From the moment you reach the front door and open the apartment it blows you away with how lovely it is. Very well located, in a great city. The apartment was clean, well furnished, and ideally located just a few minutes walk from the train station, cathedral, and old town shops, restaurants, and attractions. There is an excellent bakery right next door. A couple of notes. The hot water heater is small so my spouses hot to warm 5-minute shower was followed by my warm to cool 5 minute shower. There was also a quirk which we couldn't explain. The building contains a laundry room located inside the front building door which requires a key. The washer and dryer can only be turned using an App on your phone. We couldn't get the App to work so were unable to do a laundry.

Family Holiday

Absolutely the best location if you want to be surrounded by activity and in a gorgeous, historical setting!!! But quiet for as much activity is going on outside. The apartment is comfortable, very clean and kitchen adequately stocked. Rob and Sara were very gracious and helpful hosts and very quick to respond. Would stay here again without hesitation!!!

Great location, old world charm

Place was quite unique, historic and close to a lot of great restaurants, attractions and trains . Laundry on main floor, pay via we wash app. (Took all morning to wash and dry:) Spiral Stairs going up are tight. Bed is comfortable. Good wifi and well stocked kitchen. More coffee would have been great as we didn’t know where to get more pods from , but you can grab espresso right across the street where there’s a lovely courtyard garden. Cathedral is a few min away. Go up the tower for a great view of city! Bern is a quaint and beautiful city, we had a great stay at this vrbo.

Great spot

We enjoyed our time at Rob and Sarah’s apartment. Right off the Zytglogge tram stop in the heart of Bern. Apartment was spacious and clean. Note it is on the 2nd floor (3rd floor to Americans) up a spiral staircase- no elevator.

Amazing Apartment

We enjoyed our time in Bern-- and the location the apartment made our time even more enjoyable. A special place in Bern

We loved our ten-days-stay in this beautiful apartment that quickly felt like home for us! The location is unbeatable, close to the central station, in the middle of old town, Bärengraben, Zytglogge, theatre, … all within walking distance. We loved the accessibility to the historical center of the city, The accommodations were very clean and well-equipped. Our host was very helpful with providing information about taking local trains. We would have happily avoided calling her if this travel information had been available in a binder in the apartment. Overall, it was a unique kind of space that we would return to.

Fabulous old town stay

Loved it all... the apartment itself, the location, Bern, and surrounding area. A fantastic base for a holiday. The apartment has loads of character, and is very well equipped. We knew that Rob and Sara were contactable if needed, but this was not needed as everything well explained and straight forward. Easy access to shops, cafes and restaurants, galleries, and stunning views. Transport easy from airport, plus access to train station, and using local transport within Bern area. You can use your Bern pass (code will be provided for setting this up) to get from train station to apartment (just a couple of stops on no.12 towards the Zentrum - not particulary far but helpful if you have luggage. Would absolutely go back to same place and repeat it all again!

Add to that, our own experience successfully hosting travelers for more than 12 years, now that gives you everything you need for a great holiday or work stay in Switzerland`s capital city.
