Very convenient to everything we wanted to do. Heated pool was great and so refreshing after long days of sight-seeing. Hot tub also a wonderful place to relax.

Nice property with plenty of room for my family to each have their own bedroom.The location was excellent with a fantastic view of the sunset each night.Very private backyard with a nice pool Very comfortable home!

Let me start by saying the host is extremely communicative and gave clear instructions for check in and check out. The place was amazing and the view was breathtaking. The beds slept very good and we had everything we needed at the house for an enjoyable getaway. I will definitely book this exquisite place again in the future and recommend this place 100%. They are top notch hosts

Such a wonderful house! The pool is large with a spectacular view that goes on for miles. We saw deer just yards from the house several times over the weekend. An abundance of birds were singing all around the patio. We loved sitting outside under the pergola. We were a group of 4 couples who have been friends for 3 decades. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. This was important to our group as we cooked all of our meals. The house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hosts provided plenty of pool towels right by the back door for us to use. That was so appreciated!I highly recommend this house!!!

Great house and convenient too San Antonio!

Our family and friends loved the house. It was in immacculate condition and the kids loved the pool. All the rooms were comfortable and plenty of televisions. We would recommend this house and plan on staying here again in future. The owners are very personable and easy to get ahold of.

GREAT EXPERIENCE

My family and I spend 5 days at this home and have nothing but great things to say. From the decor to the ammenities this house provided we were never in need of anything. If any issues arose, the home owners were prompt in addressing them to our satisfaction. The pool, hot tub, and huge patio were amazing features that overlooked the area and provided the relaxation we were hoping. We definately recommend this home to anyone in the area who is looking for an great getaway with more amenities than you can count and professional homeowners you can rely on. We will definately be back!!

Hill Country in San Antonio

Our stay here was a planned family trip to see our son graduate from Lackland AFB in San Antonio. We enjoyed staying in the home for a 4 night 5 day stay. My two grand children enjoyed the pool as did my new "Airman", our son. He said it was so relaxing and comfortable, just like being at home. We had everything we needed here and more. The hot tub was so relaxing in the evening and the view was absolutely gourgous. The hills and vallies were breathtaking. The property was well maintained and the owner was very helpful in providing any directions and information we needed. I would recommend this home if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the amenities it has to offer. We will always remember our stay here and hope to return again one day.

Custom R&R Retreat in Hill Country

I have traveled to San Antonio several times over the course of the last year and have stayed on this property each time. From its breath taking views to the quiet ambience of the neighborhood the property offered more than what was bargained. The floorplan is open, yet quaint and provides a comfortable lodging experience that isn't sterile or commericialized. The decor is modern, yet inviting and provides a welcome feeling of being in your own home. The pool and outdoor amenities are a definite plus. Its like staying in your own personalized resort without the burden and aggrevation of sharing it with other patrons. The location is equally perfect, nestled in the hill country, yet a few short minutes away from area attractions, shopping and dining. The property is located in a gated community so there is an extra sense of security and exclusiveness while occupying the property. I look forward to my next trip to San Antonio and opportunity to occupy this gorgeous residence.

WOW-What A View!

We just returned from our stay in San Antonio. The best part of the stay was this home and the great location. Dont even think about a hotel when you can have accomodations like this! The view out the back is spectacular. The home is perched on a bluff or hilltop and we had nice breezes every evening. The pool was beautiful and was a nice retreat after your sightseeing visits. The table on the patio seats 8, so plenty of room for your evening cookouts. The home is nicely equipped and well stocked, but if you do need something, there is a Super Target closeby.. We were a short drive from Sea World and the Riverwalk area--and an even shorter drive to the airport! The owners are quick to answer any questions you may have. Our grandson enjoyed the wii, and brought some of his own games to play. The home has U-verse and wifi, which worked well throughout the house. We had a large group and had plenty of room. Don't hesitate to book this home! We will be back.

The house was clean, check in was easy, and communication was easy with the owners. We had a group of 9 girls in town for an event. It is a lot of people in one house but we all fit well. The view is amazing.The major problem we faced was the AC. It worked fine, but the owners were messaging us to keep it at 76 during the day which is too hot. They mentioned the AC overworking but we are all from the Houston area and are very familiar with AC units. We also had 2 pregnant women in our group and 76 is very warm for them, especially with an upstairs bedroom. We did turn the AC warmer like they asked but they were definitely changing it remotely which was concerning. The thermostat eventually came up as locked, which seems absolutely wild to me when you are renting your house for others to use. It was also frustrating to be dealing with this while trying to have a fun weekend away.Overall the house was nice but it put a damper on the weekend to be dealing with this issue.

We’re very sorry to hear the air conditioning became a frustration during your visit. As this is our personal home, and we know what temperatures are cool in the home, we do our best to balance comfort with protecting the system during the extreme summer heat in San Antonio. Running the AC too low in triple-digit temperatures can cause the coils to freeze, which would leave our guests with no cooling at all — something we very much want to avoid. During your stay, the city was also activating “Energy Rush Hour” events, which automatically adjust thermostats to reduce strain on the power grid, and that contributed to the settings changing unexpectedly. We understand that comfort is especially important, and we certainly did not intend for this to disrupt your trip. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we’re glad the rest of your stay was enjoyable.

Amazing Home!!

We loved our stay at this home! It is a reasonable 20 minute drive to the downtown attractions. We visited the Alamo and the river walk area one day and enjoyed our meal at Rosario’s. We only had three days in San Antonio and we were looking for a quiet place to spend most of our time relaxing and hanging out with family. This home was the perfect place! The home sits up high on a hill and offers beautiful views overlooking the area from the pool, hot tub, patio and cabana. The way the house is situated on the hill, you get the feeling you are the only ones there even though there are neighbors. We enjoyed many hours outside barbequing, swimming, and enjoying coffee every morning on the patio. It was very relaxing listening to the early morning birds, and we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. We cooked most of our meals and found the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The outside grills and refrigerator were really convenient for food and beverages considering all the time we spent outside. The home is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. Our kids enjoyed playing Guitar Hero on the Wii and swimming. The owners were very accommodating and great in answering all of our questions regarding the area and house. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend it to anyone heading to San Antonio. We will definitely stay with you when we head to Texas again!
