The Space:

This newly-renovated 1445 sq ft, thoughtfully designed home features 2 spacious King Bed Bedrooms, 1 cozy Queen Bed Bedroom, and a 4th bedroom with 2 Twin Beds—plus a comfy Queen Sleeper Sofa in the living room! With 4 bedrooms and multiple beds, the home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests. Clean linens, pillows, and blankets are always provided to ensure everyone has a restful night's sleep.



Everything in the home has been upgraded—modern furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, hard flooring throughout, fast WiFi, and a massive 72” Roku Smart TV. The bathrooms are fully remodeled and stocked with name-brand shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, fresh towels, hand towels, and washcloths.



To keep you cool in the Florida heat, the home offers central A/C and ceiling fans in most rooms. We also provide complimentary coffee, cream, natural sugar, and herbal teas to start your mornings right!



You’ll enjoy a large private backyard with a wood-burning fire pit, propane grill, and outdoor dining area—perfect for relaxing evenings. There’s a dedicated game room with a foosball table and a remote work station for those working on the go. A private driveway and street parking offer plenty of space for your group.



The interiors boast beautifully designed furnishings, new vinyl wood-grain flooring and plenty of space for gatherings amongst family and friends. This home is truly a wonderful retreat in heart of Gainesville, Florida!



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the property, including: a kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen appliances, a washer and dryer, HDTVs, etc. No areas are shared with others.



The Neighborhood:

The neighborhood is secluded and quiet featuring the classic old Florida historic charm with large oak trees draped with Spanish moss. The neighbors are friendly and keep to themselves. The streets are lined with traditional ranch-style houses, each with its own quirky aesthetics. The neighborhood is truly unique and one of a kind. No cookie-cutter suburban vibes here!



Please Note: The property is located on a private lime rock dirt road. Drive slowly and with caution. It’s also walking distance to the Serenola Forest Preserve - Idylwild Trailhead and less than a mile from the pet-friendly Squirrel Ridge Park.



Getting Around:

Vehicle dependent to get to and from property with free parking on driveway and along roadside directly in front of the house.



Other Things to Note:

Event Policy:

🔇NO parties or loud music; $500 fee- Our property offers the perfect space to host special event gatherings for birthdays, graduation, etc, with prior approval and a non-refundable $250 event fee. **Any unauthorized events or parties will be charged a $500 fee, and the reservation will be cancelled immediately with no refund.

🚭 NO smoking or vaping (incl. tobacco & marijuana); $250 fee if there is a lingering smell of smoke noticed upon departure and/or cigarette butts are found on property

🙅‍♂️ NO unregistered guests (all guests must be on the reservation); $100 fee for each unregistered guest 🦮 Pet Friendly; $150 fee per stay. Up to 2 pets allowed. Pets must be crated if left alone.



📄Please keep in mind that to confirm your reservation, you will be required to fill out a Guest App, where you will have to upload a valid phone number and email so we can make sure to better cater to your stay. We will give you access to the form immediately after booking, and you will find all your booking information there (check-in/out info, early check-in / late check-out options, local guide, property details, etc.)



🎥 We have an active doorbell security camera outside to ensure the safety of guests and our home; it also helps us guarantee that all house rules are being followed

🔊We have an active noise decibel detector inside that detects excess noise and notifies us of parties.

🔥The propane tank is not refilled between stays, so guests may need to top it up if they plan to use it. Please send us a receipt, and we'll be happy to reimburse you

🙋You have been charged for the number of guests selected at the time of booking; for more than 8 guests, there is a $12 nightly charge per extra guest

🚮 If you are staying on a Sunday night, please place the garbage can by the road that evening for pickup on Monday Morning



Please,

🧹 Be respectful of the space (this is our home) and clean up reasonably after yourself

🗑️ Do not leave any trash outside - we like to keep our community beautiful. Trash days are on Mondays. If your stay falls on that day, we'd really appreciate if you could pull the bin to the curb

🔧 Let us know immediately if you accidentally break or damage anything, or if anything isn’t working as it should

❕Double-check closets and grab all your things before heading out. Forgot something? We’re happy to help return it for a $30 handling fee plus shipping.



Cancellation Fees:

All cancelled reservations are subject to a 4% fee, even if cancelled within the free-cancellation period. During the free-cancellation period, your total refund will be 96% of the original booking amount—no exceptions. If canceling outside the free cancellation period, normal cancellation penalties will apply.
