We would, however, like to clarify a few points for future guests. The bathtub color and the property layout are represented in our listing. The mobile home in the back is a completely separate residence from the VRBO main house, with approximately 50 feet between the two. To be clear, the carport is dedicated to the main house and is not shared with the mobile home. We take all concerns regarding cleanliness and maintenance seriously and have reviewed the items you mentioned with our cleaning team. Regarding the smell you described, we have not received similar complaints from previous guests over the years. We respected your decision not to stay and accommodated your last-minute cancellation. Although the reservation was no longer eligible for cancellation under the applicable cancellation policy after check-in, we still chose to issue a full refund immediately as a courtesy. Because the cancellation occurred at check-in, resulting in approximately $400 in lost revenue due to the vacancy. We accepted that loss ourselves rather than passing it on to you, as we wanted to respect your decision and resolve the situation peacefully. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to ensure that the property is clean, comfortable, accurately represented for all of our guests.
