This stay was even better than what we wanted it to be. The home does have a little wear and tear, but nothing that will affect your stay. All of the technology in the house is up to date and works properly.The neighborhood itself was quiet, no major disturbances or noises. I would definitely have my family stay here again if need be!

Enjoyed the house. Very clean, however just minor things that I wished it had like an iron and ironing board, and wash cloths. The noise from the highway is loud at times, but overall a good stay.

Very welcoming, great quiet neighborhood, easy access to the highway. Very clean, great activites for a night in. We will definately rebook, first pick.

Photos are deceiving, the property isn’t well maintained. The walls were littered with dirty hand prints and scuffs, food left on dishes in the cabinet, cookware has seen better days, bucket under sink for active leak, water damage/mold, grill space was stained and gross. Game room was missing ping pong balls, all cue sticks were missing tips. The home isn’t well insulated so you can hear everything from the street and freeway. Location to events was nice and entry was easy. Owner is very nice! Recommendation, check up on who your cleaning service. We found gummy bears stuck to curtains and fake nails on the floor.

Great location for Carowinds

I got this house for the close proximity to Carowinds, the space and the game room. It did not disappoint. The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Everyone had their own space to relax and also enjoyed spending time in the game room playing air hockey. The location was great as we were there for Carowinds. It was right off I-77 which we were able to get there in less than 10 minutes. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I’ll start by saying the house was very clean. I appreciated the clean bedding, towels, bathrooms, and kitchen. However, that’s where the positive feedback ends. My biggest issue with this house is with the confusing and possibly misleading listing. We had seven people in our group all over the age of 12. Four of them were teenagers. I was expecting enough space for everyone to sleep—especially since one room was listed as having two beds, and there was even a separate room with a futon. Our last night there, we actually figured out that the bed in one room had a trundle. We never realized it since it looked like part of the bed. I don’t blame the owners for that, but it might be a nice detail to include in the description. What I am frustrated about is the “double futon.“ It’s actually situated in a non-temperature-controlled garage right next to a pool table. There is absolutely no way there would have been room to pull that futon out completely and have two people be able to sleep in it— unless they were toddlers someone felt comfortable putting in a garage. There were several other minor things like the lack of cooking utensils (wooden spoons, spatulas, etc.), rotted corn hole game, and completely absent air hockey table (or table topper) that seemed to be in the listing. But none of this compared to the fact that my youngest had to sleep on the couch in the den because the futon location wasn’t suitable for sleeping. I’m extremely disappointed.

Location was good to access Charlotte area. The host was responsive when we reached out regarding the wifi issues though the wifi was still not working even after resetting the router numerous times.The fit and finishes of the property need attention. The towel bars in the bathrooms were loose, the seal around the front door wasn't tight, allowing cold air/light into the house. Taking plates from the cupboard, they were dirty. We washed them as there was nothing the host could do at that point. The kitchen was missing items. For example, 1 extra trash bag under the sink for a family of 7 for a week long stay is not enough, nor is a small 3 oz. dish soap. Only 5 K-cups provided & an empty box above the microwave. There were no 9x13 pans, measuring cups/spoons, cheese grater, or aluminum foil. We purchased some of these items & left for the next guest. The outside trash cans were very full when we arrived. To be fair, the host did reach out and ask us to take the trash cans to the curb 2 days into our stay/the day prior to pick up, but we did not see the request in time.We loved the dog friendliness of the property, the bowls and extra poop bags provided were thoughtful touches. However, there was a distinct aroma in the neighborhood when we walked the dog... Lastly, and not in the hosts control, the sound of cars racing down the street or highway in the middle of the night woke us up several times.

Our new Charlotte getaway spot!

Hands down, our stay here was PHENOMENAL! The house was absolutely perfect! It was very comfortable, very spacious, super clean and pet friendly! Our host was awesome!!!!! Communication was quick, always available, and may I add, EXTREMELY welcoming & friendly. We are a family of 7 plus our fur baby/ service pup. Our kids are ages 8, 6, 4, 3, and 1. We are a big family with lots of little ones, so normally people tend to shy away from dealing us. 🫤 When I say we felt soooo welcomed with open arms, I mean it! Our host never made us feel like we were “too much” or a burden in any way! Thank you! The babies had a ball! They stayed occupied with the games and activities provided. The sleeping arrangements for them, my husband and I were PERFECT! We had a lovely, sun lit master bedroom with a walk in closet and private bathroom while the kids had one room of bunk beds (which they loved!) and another room with a day bed. They all shared the most beautiful , up to date bathroom which had a stand up shower! I could go on forever! Overall, this was a (what my son likes to call) “10 out of 10, must go there again” experience! Run, don’t walk, to book this property! We wanted to extend our stay, but they were already booked out and I see why! This was an awesome stay! Thank you!

Overall, our stay was comfortable, and the home accommodated our group of 4 adults and 7 kids. We made it work and enjoyed our time together.That said, there was noticeable wear and tear throughout the home that wasn’t reflected in the listing. The mattresses in the bunk bed room were extremely thin and uncomfortable. Basic items like washcloths and a dustpan were also missing.The game room was disappointing. It’s located in a small garage with no air conditioning, making it too hot to enjoy for very long.My biggest recommendation to future guests is to video record and photograph the entire property upon arrival and again before checkout. We are currently disputing false accusations that we damaged one of the game machines, which we absolutely did not do. We were also charged a fee related to our service dog, despite traveling with a legitimate service animal.We followed the checkout instructions and left the home clean and in good condition. While the host knew they were accommodating a large group, we made every effort to leave the property respectfully.Unfortunately, the post-stay accusations overshadowed what was otherwise a decent trip. I strongly recommend documenting everything before and after your stay to protect yourself.

Everything was ok, no complains, no remarks about the house until i confronted her about leaving a play mashine broken in half and dog hair everywhere! We love pets and thats why we accept them, but we require the guests to let is know if they bring a pet, because we do have different cleaning procedures when there are pets in the house! This guests decided they will just bring one and say nothing! I do have to pay the clea team a higer fee when there are pets at the house! Now i am left with a 700$ broken machine and extra cleaning fees and a bad review! 😅🫩! What a guest!
