Orange Beach Phoenix I

We had a fabulous time! Nice space for 2 people. But it could use some updating. The cleanliness of indoor living room furniture was questionable. Beautiful view! Excellent location to the beach. Wonderful white sand. Our only real complaint is the balcony furniture has some rusty areas that we were unaware of and it ruined a swim shirt with rust that we were unable to wash out.

The pictures are seriously outdated and the unit needs some TLC for sure! It was clean and the view good. Water pressure in the bathroom and kitchen were marginal at best. It was annoying all the maintenance that was happening from water valves for complex being replaced, parking lots being painted and pool area being pressure washed during prime pool hours.

Everything was clean. You canā€™t beat the view. Some of the amenities werenā€™t the best as compared to other condos I have stayed in. Only one spatula to use and it was for an outside grill, not for a stove top. We had to buy stuff like dish soap, TP, salt, pepper, laundry soap etcā€¦ Coming from across the country you should not have to pack all of this extra stuff. The shower was not working the best. Itā€™s old and should be updated. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Wonderful property

The condo was the perfect size for the two of us. Extremely clean and comfortable king size bed. Loved the beach and enjoyed the swimming pool. Easy check in. Great view of the gulf. Only downside, and it was no big deal is the lounge chair zipped tied to the railing on the balcony and the frame is rusty. There were other chairs on the balcony we could use. Would definitely stay again,.

Great photographer and camera equipment

Booking process super easy. Lots of communication via emails and text. Check in was super easy also. Thatā€™s the best it got for our short weekend beach trip. No surprise as far as condo layout and items provided. What you canā€™t tell in photos is how very dated overall the place is. May be clean on surface but needs deep cleaned. Laundry door off track and looked like it just leaned in opening at an angle. Didnā€™t touch it so not sure whatā€™s going on. Vacuum provided would turn in but did not work to clean floor. Tub has a soft spot area in front drain. Feels like it may crack at anytime. Great for families on a budget but we will not stay at this property again.

We enjoyed it however we was not told about construction till after we paid. Unfortunately the saw was running from 8-6:30 so we got approximately 3 1/2 hrs to enjoy listening to the ocean while watching the waves. The fan in the bathroom was broken there was blood on the carpet to the left side of the bed. The heating element on the dryer is out. Was not worth what we payed

Just like it looks in the pictures!

Great one bedroom. Perfect for a couple. Only draw back, the design is backwards as the bedroom is on the side of the walkway and noise and light shines in. Bring a blackout curtain.

Relaxing

We stayed at the Phoenix I and really enjoyed it. The condo was very nicely decorated and clean. The only recommendation that I would give is in the bedroom either put thicker blinds up or some long thick curtains. The light from the porches were so bright through the bedroom window. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.
