We have been coming to Burnsville with our kids and dog every winter for years. This was a new find and is possibly the best place we’ve stayed anywhere! The house was comfortable, sparkling clean, and well equipped, with so many nice, intentional details that show that the owners truly want to go the extra mile for guests.The weekend we were there was bitter cold. The house stayed toasty and evenly heated on the main floor. The coffee/tea/cocoa bar was organized and stocked with everything we needed. There were lots of snacks provided, and s’mores supplies which were such a delightful touch! The hot tub was clean and worked well. All the couches and recliners were comfy and in great shape, and there were plenty of extra blankets.We LOVED the movie theater (what a wonderful addition!), and the game room in the (unheated) garage got plenty of use even in the cold. The downstairs bedroom was nice but too chilly to sleep in when temps were below freezing - it wasn’t clear if there was separate heating for downstairs. We just used the three upstairs bedrooms for our family of 4. In warmer weather this would be a nice place to sleep! The bathrooms were clean and smelled great with the reed diffusers, and the showers were spacious. We also appreciated the renter-friendly checkout instructions that made leaving a lot less stressful.Our kids couldn’t stop raving about this place and neither could we. We will definitely be back. This is a gem in the town of Burnsville!
