Nestled along one of North Carolina’s premier trout fishing streams, Big Snowbird Camp is surrounded by the pristine beauty of Nantahala National Forest. A paved road leads all the way to the property, ensuring easy access for any vehicle. With no neighbors in sight, the soothing sounds of the rushing water provide unmatched peace and serenity. Perfect swimming holes await just steps from the property, ideal for a refreshing dip. At the end of the road, the Snowbird Trailhead begins, offering a 25-mile loop that leads to some breathtaking waterfalls. Just beyond the house, the pavement transitions to a gravel forestry road, following the creek—making Big Snowbird Camp an excellent spot for biking adventures. Less than 10 miles to town. We allow early check-in’s if we are able.

Great place to stay. We had an awesome time there. The grill needs some new burner covers as the ones covering the individual burners were rusted out . Also a grill brush is needed but other than that everything was fantastic.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was so nice and we loved sitting on the porch listening to the running water. The owner Jamie, was great to work with. Answered questions quickly and gave us food suggestions in the area. We would highly recommend this place and we definitely will stay here again.

This was a great property. We loved the fact that it is one level and pet friendly. The water right off the back deck is wonderful. We had everything we needed inside the cabin and it was very comfortable. The host was very helpful.

We loved our experience. The place is beautiful; the cabin has all you need and Jamie was an amazing host. If you want quiet and nice that is perfect!

Jamie’s place is one of the best we’ve ever stayed at. The creek and neighborhood are beautiful. The house is super cute and very modern/high tech. The location is remote so make sure to bring everything you need or it’s a 20 minute drive into town. No cell reception but the WiFi works great. Also they don’t sell alcohol (spirits) in Graham Co. NC. The area around Lake Santeetlah is spectacular, if you have the opportunity rent a boat or at least drive the Cherohala Skyway.

Our second stay at this property, and once again, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful location in a quiet, peaceful location and we appreciate that it's pet friendly so our dog can travel with us. The Host is pleasant to deal with and provided directions and easy access upon arrival. We'll be back.

We had an amazing time. The home is beautiful and is very nicely remodeled. We enjoyed the fire pit and listening to the creek in the back of the home. Cannot wait to come back!

What a beautiful place in the mountains. We enjoyed every minute of it and honestly didnt want to leave. Owners were on top of everything and made the stay completely worry free! We will definitely be coming back in the future! 100/10

A very peaceful and quiet place to enjoy the outdoors while still having access to reliable internet when we needed it. Communication with the owner was top notch throughout the entire process. One of the most relaxing environments I’ve experienced in a LONG time.

The cabin was lovely and the location on the creek was perfect. Hearing the water was so relaxing. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The owner was very easy to communicate with. I would recommend the cabin- it was terrific.

Peaceful vacation

We had a wonderful time. The back porch is very relaxing. We spent most of our time enjoying the creek and renting a boat on the lake. The beds are comfy. The house is set up great for families with plenty of room for everyone.

We were looking for secluded place next to a nice moving stream to relax for a few days , yet close enough to the Great Smokey National Park for a day trip. Wanted to walk out our door to fish, seat in cool waters, enjoy nature. This place DELIVERED!. We are already planning how to get back. Ate breakfast and dinner outside in an awsome setting. Home was imaculant and well decorated. Host were very fast to respond to every question. We had a quick power outage that caused the locks to reset and host corrected issue within minutes even though it was 9pm. We can not wait to get back. Our last morning we watched wild turkeys jumping the stream as we ate breakfest on the deck. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THIS PLACE.

This was a fantastic house and location. We have been to NC many times and this was by far our all time favorite house. The creek it is on is just gorgeous and the kids had a blast playing in it and climbing all over the rocks. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated and full of upgraded wonderful features. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. It felt like we were borrowing a good friend's house rather than staying at a rental. We absolutely plan to come back and rent this one again.

Just a fabulous stay from start to finish! Cabin was super clean on arrival. Beautiful and cozy on the inside. We enjoyed all the neat little "extras" the cabin had, light up plugs, Alexa, big light up bathroom mirror, groovy wall fireplace in the master bedroom. Beds were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee out on the deck with that gorgeous view. Vey peaceful and relaxing. I love that you can see the river from all the back facing windows in the cabin. Communication with Jamie, the owner, was quick and responsive. There is an Ingles grocery store in town. Several fast food options. A few local restaurants. And a great coffee shop, Kin Cafe! Loved our stay and would definitely return.

We chose this property for its location on Big Snowbird Creek. Playing outside, fishing, and hiking in the area. The white noise from the creek is so relaxing, and we hope you enjoy it too!

We have a secluded location that is very private, with over 100 feet of private creek frontage for fishing. Only the sounds of nature can be heard here. The fishing is fantastic, and Nantahala National Forest hiking trails are located at the end of the road just past the campsites.
