Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry that the insects you encountered on the deck prevented you from fully enjoying the outdoor space. We understand how disappointing that must have been, especially when you were looking forward to spending time outside. Our cabins are nestled among open meadows and a wooded natural setting, so during the warmer months it's not uncommon to encounter outdoor insects, including American wood cockroaches. While they can certainly be unsettling to see, they are harmless insects that naturally live outdoors and are very different from the German cockroaches that infest homes and buildings. We have our cabins professionally treated on a regular pest control schedule to help minimize pests, but in a natural environment it's unfortunately impossible to eliminate all wildlife. We genuinely appreciate you sharing your experience, as it helps us continue looking for ways to improve our guests' stays. We hope you were still able to enjoy the beauty, peace, and unique setting of the property despite this unfortunate experience.
