Wonderful cottage in fantastic Brookhaven neighborhood! (Minimum stay 31 nights)

Just a short walk from the Brookhaven Marta rail station, this lovely 1940's bungalow is thoughtfully renovated and decorated. A charming, clean, and cozy cottage in one of the safest and most sought after neighborhoods in Atlanta.

Enjoy morning coffee on the front porch, then walk to the local community Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings. In the evening, enjoy a glass of wine in your private back garden courtyard before walking to one of several nearby popular Brookhaven restaurants, wine bars and sports pubs. Or take a quick Uber ride to dining, shopping and entertainment in nearby Buckhead or Midtown.

Truly unique and filled with natural light! Beautiful original hardwood floors and luxury hotel bedding (crisp white cotton percale sheets and duvet). Clean and fresh white slipcovered furniture, casually covered with white linen and cotton throws we wash between every guest. Simple and elegant decor featuring original art from the annual Brookhaven Artist's Market. Brand new kitchen appliances in the small but bright and sunny kitchen.

The covered front porch, with a teak swing and ceiling fan, overlooks a huge Magnolia tree. The backyard has a garden courtyard and is completely fenced-in with a big, level grassy lawn surrounded by native trees and flowers.



Fantastic location! Only minutes from Buckhead, Atlanta's premier shopping destination. Less than 2 miles from Lenox Square / Phipps Plaza. Easy Marta access to vibrant business, dining and entertainment centers in Midtown & Downtown. Just 35 minutes to Hartsfield International airport on Marta, with free daytime parking at the Brookhaven station (only 1/4 mile away).

Amenities like fast Wi-Fi internet, new Samsung 50-inch Smart LED TV, clean white kitchen with open shelving, and washer/dryer make this an easy place to settle in for a few days or months.

Pets allowed on a selective basis. - please inquire. Special rules and pet fee required.

Children - the cottage is not child proofed and it was decorated with adults in mind. For example, there are glass tops on some of the side tables. Please inquire.

Comfortable Cottage

I really enjoyed my stay at the Magnolia Cottage. Super close to Marta, which made traveling convenient, and downtown Brookhaven. Amy and Brooks are the best. Thank you for everything!

Close to downtown and shopping

My second stay here was as good as the first. Pleasant cottage, fully equipped, charmingly decorated. Second bedroom is small, but good for kids. Five to ten minutes (depending on traffic) to Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza for shopping, and 5 minutes the other way to Peachtree St. restaurants and shops. Deep back yard great for dogs to run and play. Amy and Brook were very helpful and accomadating.

Extended stay perfect

An extended stay here was just what we wanted: simple and comfortable living. Perfect location for our needs. It's nicely decorated indoors and has mostly-private outdoor seating areas. We especially appreciated the king bed, the bathroom magnifying mirror, and cable TV - thank you! We loved walking the neighborhood, and even saw wildlife. The sort-of steep and tight driveway might be challenging for elderly renters. Note: We always sleep with ear plugs and a fan, so we weren't at all bothered by the nightly trains ...but light sleepers beware perhaps. Amy & Brooks are accessible and accommodating. Excellent owners - they actually wanted to provide more services than we wanted, and understood when we needed to decline intrusions. Husband and I both give our stay a 5.

Cutest Cottage

We absolutely loved staying at Magnolia Cottage! The house was so charming and the location was amazing. Amy and Brooks are fantastic hosts! We loved the place so much we wanted to extend for longer! We will definitely be back visiting this charming spot.

Cozy, comfortable and clean!

Delightful renovated cottage and it’s owners as well as furnishings and supplies exceeded expectations. Our home away from home during the Christmas season was warm and convenient and met our every need. The home and completely fenced back yard was dog friendly as was the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

This is a small house that is a block from the Brookhaven MARTA station. The second bedroom is small, but the house is otherwise perfect. Clean. Big fenced backyard. Owners are easy to contact.

Private and Comfortable Little House

The little house near Brookhaven MARTA station and Oglethorpe University was perfect for us. Good location, well-equipped and easy to live in. It was just what our small family and pet needed while visiting Atlanta.

Perfect accommodation in the Perfect location

Amy did such a fantastic job of communicating pre- / during / post- stay. I had a small problem with the door lock and she & Brooks resolved it within 1-2 hours. The cottage was just right, and literally less than 200 yards walk from the MARTA train station. Walking distance from a few pubs and food "joints" that I'd happily return to. Also walking distance from grocery and drug stores....we didn't even rent a car. The local Brookhaven area is a VERY nice "family" community. All accommodations of the cottage were very CLEAN and very COMFORTABLE: rich hardwood floors, comfortable beds/pillows, generously sized closets with plenty of hangars and shelves, plenty of bedroom drawers, tasteful furnishings, plush towels, plentiful bathroom necessities, fully stocked kitchen (with Keurig coffee maker and a stock of coffee pods), large flat screen TV with cable/satellite channels (and even DVR), microwave oven, dishwasher, washer, dryer...you name it. After our stay, Amy contacted me because I left my laptop charger. She shipped at back to me, same day at her own expense. I really could not be happier with my decision to stay here...you can't go wrong.

Great location, cozy home, very liveable

Loved our second stay here - the place is cozy and liveable - kitchen well stocked, bed comfy, bath well stocked, nice shower, living room comfy with nice pullup table for eating there if you choose. (Also a dining room there.). Backyard is fenced. Front porch is big and nice for relaxing. Very close to many restaurants and shopping and a quick Uber to Buckhead and Midtown. (Or Marta.)

Perfect, conveniently located haven

Magnolia Cottage was the perfect haven while in town for an extended business assignment. Location was close to everything -- shopping, restaurants, MARTA -- yet still had a nice calming residential feel. Brooks and Amy are wonderful hosts and it's reassuring to have them so close by. They provided lots of tips on nearby events and amenities, including a great running route. The cottage is very well equipped and impeccably maintained. Would not hesitate to return!

An absolute gem in a wonderful area!

This property does not disappoint! Amy and Brooks have thought of everything a traveler needs to feel at home. I appreciated the cleanliness and the simple, beautiful decor. Amy was also quick to respond to texts and had a lot of good recommendations for shopping and restaurants. I will definitely be back!

Another Wonderful Visit

Great Place and Location!

This was our second stay and it was just as great as the first! Clean, well decorated, everything you could want or need is provided! We love the location, it is close to everything, grocery store, shopping, restaurants, etc. It has a great backyard for our dog and nicely located off the busy street to take him for walks! This is our number one choice of place to stay in Atlanta.

Charming cottage

Comfortable, charming, and well-equipped. Easy access to stores, restaurants, Marta, etc. Nice big fenced backyard - dogs loved it. Library across the street if you're interested. Furnishings and decor very well thought out. Nice owners who are readily accessible. Would definitely stay there again.

Cozy cottage close to Marta, Brookhaven locations

Loved our stay in Amy and Brooks’ cottage with our two little dogs. Nicely furnished and equipped for cooking, relaxing. It snowed so we were indoors except for walking our dogs, but at a warmer time, we would’ve loved the back yard and front porch. The bed is so comfortable, with nice linens and a fine hotel quality comforter. We will definitely revisit next time we need a weekend in Atlanta.

Charming bungalow

My family (including 2 medium sized dogs) and I were vacationing in the Atlanta area and honestly couldn't have found a better place to stay. This bungalow was clean, decorated beautifully, and was centrally located to all of our needs. The accents and details of the home truly made the stay enjoyable; we were quite comfortable. Drinking coffee on the front porch swing or hanging out in the spaciously, fenced backyard were icing on the cake. We were able to visit many of downtown Atlanta's attractions while having a peaceful space to retreat. Brooks & Amy were were readily accessible/available to any/all needs. Highly recommend.

We love the Brookhaven area, and we've always wanted to renovate a bungalow. We live in a newer home, but love the charm and character we experience when visiting friends who live in older houses, whether in historic Atlanta neighborhoods or New England.

Everyone seems to love staying at this cottage. We enjoy sitting on the back terrace and walking around the backyard to see what is blooming when we are working on projects there.
