Hi, I’m Lorraine! I’ve always found joy in creating memorable, nurturing spaces—both as a teacher and a seaside host. I manage 2 charming holiday apartments in beautiful Scottburgh, South Africa, where coastal breezes and turquoise views inspire everything from my décor to my hospitality.

When I’m not welcoming guests, I am a school owner and teacher to little ones! I love vacations and hosting gives me the chance to share the magic of Scottburgh with families looking for rest, connection, and a touch of something special.

I have been vacationing almost yearly in Scottburgh since I was 3 years old! Nestled along South Africa’s lush South Coast, it offers the perfect blend of laid-back charm and coastal adventure. From early morning strolls on the golden beach to watching dolphins play in the waves, there’s a magic here that’s hard to put into words.

The neighborhood itself is peaceful and friendly—along the high street are quaint cafés, and enticing local shops. I love the sense of community, the sound of the surf in the evenings, and how the ocean breeze and incredible sea views puts everyone instantly at ease. Hosting here feels like sharing a slice of calm with people who need it most.

Our seaside flats are more than just a place to stay - each apartment has the most incredible unhindered panoramic views of the Indian Ocean! The sunrises are amazing to watch whether you want to remain in bed or sit in the comfort of the lounge with your morning cuppa!

Our space feels warm, personal, and refreshingly different from standard rentals. The entire apartment is fully equipped for self-catering, is safe with 24-hour security for that lock-up and go peace of mind. Our custom guidebook is filled with local gems and family-friendly recommendations.
