This is not an oasis as described in the ad. The backyard was dirt, no grass and a dead tree in the middle with cracks all throughout the surrounding fence and pool deck. There were cigarette butts strewn in the yard. The mattresses in two bedrooms were sitting on the floor with no frames. In the photos the bottom of the beds were covered with sheets so it was impossible to tell there were no frames. The living room furniture was extremely old and in bad shape. The rug had two very large stains. The two small couches were old and filthy. There was only one very small t.v. in the house. We contacted the host who proved very unhelpful. We said we would pay for the first night since we had no where else to go, but wanted a refund for the remaining 4 nights. We contacted VRBO and the representative spoke to the host who indicated to him there would be a refund and that the host would be contacting us the next day after he calculated the amount of the refund. The next day we checked out and the host informed us there would be no refund. We have used VRBO many times and this is the worst experience we have ever had. The host does not live in the area and said he had not been to the property in 3 months. He stated to us before we contacted VRBO that he was surprised the beds were on the floor. in the end we advised the host that we would be taking this up with VRBO and our credit card company and he said fine. Don't let the photos deceive you!
