The Space:

Welcome to this peaceful haven in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François. L’Albatros is a true sanctuary of tranquility, nestled in an enchanting setting just a 5-minute walk from the St. Lawrence River. This unique place offers breathtaking sunrises, stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere. Designed to accommodate families, teenagers, and children, the chalet is the ideal setting for unforgettable moments of relaxation, connection, and enjoyment. Picture yourself sipping your morning coffee while watching the first rays of sunlight reflect on the river. Here, nature becomes the backdrop to your everyday life, and every glance through the window invites you to slow down and recharge.



Chalet L’Albatros features 5 spacious bedrooms, offering privacy for everyone, bright and welcoming common areas for meals, games, or cozy evenings by the fire, and a fully equipped game room with a pool table, arcade machine, and a large area for board games with a table sitting 8 and a sofa bed esaily sitting 3 persons.



On the ground floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with a large central island, a dining area, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, and a bathroom. Upstairs, there are 4 large bedrooms and a second bathroom. The first, second and third bedrooms each have 1 queen bed, while the fourth bedroom has 2 queen beds. In the basement, you’ll find 1 bedroom with 1 bunk bed (1 twin mattress and 1 double mattress), ideal for children, along with a third bathroom. Finally a sofa-bed is in the spacious game room for all ages.



The experience continues outside, with a spacious terrace and private spa offering a splendid view of the river and the Massif de Charlevoix. The BBQ is perfect for preparing meals during relaxing evenings and their is an outside dining area. The surrounding environment is calm and peaceful.



Good to know: 1 bath towel and 1 face cloth per guest are provided. Feel free to bring more if needed. Basic shower gel and shampoo are included. No spa towels are provided – please bring a beach towel. Firewood is not included but is available nearby (see our interactive guidebook for details).

The Neighborhood:

The chalet is located in a quiet rural setting with plenty of privacy. The property is surrounded by mature hedges on three sides, with no neighbors on the left or right side of the chalet. A single residence is located behind the hedge at the back. Directly across the small road in front of the chalet is a private farm property, fully enclosed by fencing. This land is not accessible to guests and is not part of the amenities offered with the rental. The area is peaceful, spacious, and ideal for relaxing walks and enjoying the calm of the countryside, while still being close to local attractions and services.



Getting Around:

Explore the area: just a 5-minute walk to the village quay for beautiful sunrises, 5 minutes from Le Massif and 3 minutes from Mont à Liguori, and 25 minutes from Baie-Saint-Paul. A bit further, about 1 hour away, you’ll find Parc des Grands-Jardins, home to Mont du Lac des Cygnes (hiking, snowshoeing, via ferrata, etc.), Parc des Hautes-Gorges, known for its impressive Acropole des Draveurs and the beautiful Malbaie River, or even the city of Québec and the popular Parc de la Chute-Montmorency.
