Perfect Holiday Retreat, Completely Renovated, Central Location

Our completely renovated farmhouse is set upon a hilltop overlooking downtown Lee. It is a perfect spot for culture, sports, relaxation, holidays and gatherings with family and friends.

Take in the mountain / town views from the front wrap-around porch, or enjoy dinner and cocktails on the private back deck. The kitchen is newly renovated with granite counters, all new cabinets/appliances with a slider to the back deck and open to a charming sitting room. There is a formal dining room and a front family room with distant views. The new addition features a first floor master bedroom, bathroom with shower (also accessible from the hall) and laundry closet. The second floor has a newly renovated bathroom with shower and three bedrooms.

As always, perfect for a girl's getaway!

This house offers a perfect place to sit and chat and enjoy the beauty of Lee. Centrally located for restaurants, shopping, spa visit and relaxing in a very comfortable place to be outside and inside. Have been there many times and always loved it.

A pleasant and peaceful holiday visit

We were very comfortable in this well situated home, a short walk from town. The four bedrooms were all comfortable, the kitchen met all of our needs and the layout of the house permits several settings for get-togethers. The views from both front and back porches/decks were very nice, even in early January. We would be very happy to visit again in the future!

Fantastic house

The house outweighed our expectations. It is a beautiful house with a landscaped yard in an excellent location. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are new. There was plenty of space to spread out in the cozy living room or in the front TV room. We enjoyed the outdoor deck and our granddaughter had fun playing in the yard. The neighborhood is very quiet. It was the perfect place to stay.

If you are searching for a great place to stay in the Berkshires, this is a great bet, both in terms of location and the home itself! Highly recommended. Location: You literally cannot go wrong. Perched on a rise with a great view of a hill across the way from the wraparound farmer's porch, the location is never the less a ten minute walk away from the inviting Main Street of Lee. Stockbridge and Lenox are just a very quick drive away. Home itself: Charming yet sparkling and modern might be a way to describe the home. From enjoying a morning in the rocking chair on the front porch, to an evening in either the family or living rooms, to the beautifully maintained restrooms and bedrooms, to the well-stocked and gleaming modern kitchen, this place was wonderful. Clearly a lot of time and thought went into making the home inviting, and it was well-received. The pictures simply do not do it justice, and you'll wish you could spend more time enjoying the home.

The Best VRBO ever!!

We have stayed at several VRBOs in Europe, the Caribbean and throughout the US. This home was the best ever in terms of having a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture throughout. It was immaculate, nicely decorated, spacious and careful attention was given to every detail. My college friends and I were celebrating our 70th Birthdays. When we arrived, there was a yummy homemade cinnamon bread on the kitchen table with a Happy Birthday greeting. Laurie can feel good knowing that these old ladies made special memories in her beautiful home.

Clean, convenient, easy communication

This house overlooks downtown Lee from a quiet sidewalked street, and had everything our family of 4 needed for a successful Covid-era winter vacation. The house is clean and well-maintained with a very functional kitchen. I believe there is an error in the stated bed sizes - the downstairs master is definitely a double bed and not a queen, and I'd say the same for upstairs. The kitchen is stocked with spices, salt, pepper, oil, coffee filters, and paper products - bring everything else you'll need, including sugar for coffee! Owner and property manager were very helpful and prompt in all of their communications with us.

Excellent home

Thoroughly enjoyed this home away from home in every way. Comfortable, clean, charming. Great amenities & location. Easy & clear communication. Pleasant street. ONLY one point to make: we were thrilled that we could bring our small dog, but should note for other pet-owners that the yard is not fenced in.

One of our all time favorite summer rentals

We've been renting in the New England and upstate New York area for about 25 years now, and I can say, without reservation, that this house was among the best, if not the best, house we've rented. I completely agree with a previous reviewer that the photos don't do this house justice. We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in and took a walk around this wonderful house. Nothing is worn and dated, instead it is tasteful and well appointed, very clean, with just about anything one could need. There is so much attention to detail , i.e., the drawers and cabinets in the newly renovated kitchen are marked to direct the renter to where to find silverware etc, as well as a large binder in the living room filled with important details about the house in addition to a slew of brochures with local area attractions as well as several menus. From the wide plank and well-kept, almost golden, wooden floors, unusual antique pieces of furniture scattered throughout, along with very comfortable couches and beds, the house is very inviting and cozy, with a real charm and unique character. We also loved the layout, which has a central living room next to the kitchen and dining room but also a lovely den with a TV, a couple of rooms away. The TV is not the centerpiece of the house -meaning one could watch it without the sound drowning out someone else reading quietly in the living room. There is a very private and enclosed backyard with a wooden deck off the kitchen. We are very much looking forward to returning next year. Finally, the location is unsurpassed for a Berkshires vacation, it is so close to everything.

Great location and space for a family reunion.

This is a lovely home in a nice quiet neighborhood. You can walk to town and it is a short drive to many attractions. Six adults were comfortable. Modern kitchen and bathrooms. Porch and deck and plenty of room to spread out. The only thing that would have made it better would be little things like having breakfast items for our first morning as we arrived late in the evening. Also, pens and notepad would be handy. Noteworthy is that this is the cleanest place we have ever rented.

The house is charming, plenty of room for everyone. We had two adults and three teenaged boys. Well-equipped. Updated kitchen and baths. Beautiful master suite on the first floor. TV room in front for the kids. Immaculate. Our only issues were the pillows. They need to be updated with firmer pillows. Very flat and uncomfortable. Instructions on how to use the coffee machine would also be appreciated. Otherwise, a great location and an all-around lovely house. It snowed overnight and the driveway and stairs to the porch were miraculously shoveled! Thanks for a great weekend.

Milestone Birthday Weekend

We (party of 6) had a wonderful weekend at this home celebrating a milestone birthday with a visit to the Berkshires and Kripalu. The decor was beautiful and the house was spotless. Downstairs is a master bedroom with 1 queen bed/bath, washer/dryer, kitchen, back patio, front porch, living area, dining room, and TV room. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms (2 twins, 1 twin, and 1 queen) and a bath. We originally had plans to go out to dinner Saturday night, but realized we were already in the best spot in town and enjoyed dinner at home. The kitchen was the most equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a rental home. The owners have really thought of everything! Thank you for an amazing weekend and we cannot wait to return someday!

Seven sisters weekend

Loved this house. Great location to the town of Lee. House was bigger and even nicer than the pictures show. Short drive to other towns in the Berkshires. Communication and whole process with this rental was a breeze.

Charming and convenient

Threee friends and I just spent a delightful weekend here. The house was beautiful and the location ideal. It was short walk into town, where there were great shops and restaurants. We came from Hartford Connecticut, Rochester NY, Bear Mountain NY and Summit New Jersey, so Lee's location just off I-90 made it a perfect meeting place. All the appliances were new and working fine, the bathrooms clean and bright, and 4 bedrooms for 4 people was a perfect arrangement. We all were grateful for the wifi too. Cable TV was available but we were having too much fun to watch TV.

Cozy and Comfortable!

A group of 5 friends rented this home for our 4th annual knitting retreat. We stayed 2 nights and wish we had stayed longer. The home is beautiful and charming and very complete. We appreciated the high quality of the renovations, furnishings and towels. We especially liked the option of a first floor bedroom since one of us was on crutches. While the house had a homey touch it did not feel cluttered or overly personalized. It was a perfect rental in a perfect location. Laurie was very responsive to communications. We hope to return next March for 3 nights!!

Beautiful home near many sights good for families

We traveled with two adults, a speedy 10 month old and our small dog. The house was among the cleanest homes we have stayed in (much more obvious w/ our crawling baby), and it was beautiful with all the amenities you'd want. We cooked a couple of nights and enjoyed the crawling space. it's also a quick drive (or walk on nicer days) to the restaurants and boutiques in Lee. Laurie and Roxanne made arrival and checkout very easy. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing!

The home in Lee was absolutely perfect! Welcoming, lovely and spotless. We were in town for our son's wedding and it helped to make a beautiful weekend even more special! The master bedroom on the ground floor was a perfect spot for my husband and myself. The rest of the bedrooms were upstairs which was nice getting ready for the wedding. The kitchen was well appointed, with eveything you would need to prepare a delicious meal. The pictures on vrbo were nice but the house is actually much nicer! I would highly recommend this house if you need a place to stay in Lee Ma.

We love Lee! With its great restaurants, country stores and antiques, it is central to all in the Berkshires, with less traffic and tourists compared to some of the more popular Berkshire spots. From our home, you can walk into town for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, ice cream and shopping. Walk in another direction and you will find golf and tennis. Or drive just about anywhere else in minutes!
