Cozy rural cottage less than 10 minutes from Regional West Medical Center

This guest made a request for early check-in. Normally check in is at 4:00 p.m. but they were granted an early check-in at 1:30 at no extra charge. Security cameras show they were there at 1:30 p.m. MST. At 2:30 p.m. MST they called and said they had been in the house and it was cold and clean. The guest house has central air conditioning, so all they needed to do is change the thermostat setting. They were having difficulty with the key pad lock. Caller ID stated that it was someone other than the person who had originally made the reservation that called. There was no further communication that night. When I informed the guest that checkout was 11:00 a.m. on May 17th, I was informed they had left the night before. When I went to examine the guest house, there were dirty dishes, dirty silverware and drinking glass. The guests had eaten soup and had an alcoholic beverage. The living room TV was moved. Two beds ( the queen size bed and 1 twin bed) had the bedding turned down and were used. I always ask my guests to contact me if they have any questions or concerns. There was no attempt to contact me. They just left after making use of the facility.
