Located on the Leelanau Peninsula, this charming four-bedroom home on West Grand Traverse Bay is spacious and offers comfortable lodging for up to 10 guests. There are two bedrooms on the main level--one with a king bed and the other with two full beds. The two downstairs bedrooms each have one queen bed. The spacious living room provides multiple seating options for full relaxation and great views, with a gas fireplace and bar. Enjoy meals in the dining room overlooking the water. The downstairs features an additional sitting room with a gas fireplace. There is also a sauna.

The patios offer plenty of seating, a gas grill, and a fire pit. The home faces east, making it perfect for enjoying gorgeous sunrise views. It is placed directly on the waterfront and is only minutes from downtown Traverse City.

The house was ideal for the number in our party. Upon our arrival, we could not access the property because the owner changed the code and the property management company didnā€™t know or didnā€™t share that information with us. However, when we told them about the code, they were responsive and apologetically. We loved the ideal location. The kitchen is well equipped but the coffee maker needs to be replaces because it is super slow!! We would definitely recommend this location to friends.

We very much enjoyed our stay at "Be Dazzeled" for one week in August 2025. We too, were dazzeled by both the location on the water, amazing sunrise view, comfortable space with water view and seating everwhere, and the amzing location that is close to the many attractions and actvities for our family 6: two grandchildren (13 and 11), their 2 paents, and the 2 of us-the grandparents. One suugestion: You should clearly state in the listing that 2 of the 4 bedrooms are in fact in the [walkout] basement.

Beautiful view but deferred maintenance issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful location and nice home however, there were multiple items that arose on our stay. First, the home wasnā€™t available at check in time- 4 on. The cleaning crew didnā€™t finish until almost 5 pm. Next (big one), the master bedroom bed broke, which has clearly happened before because the bedframe was cracked and had a bracket to repair it in the past. We had to move the mattress onto the floor to sleep the first night. property management team was definitely great and responded to our issues quickly. Additionally, there was a multiple lights that needed to be replaced. The last example was the leaves were never cleaned up from last fall and thereā€™s still a big pile in the lower part of the yard. With all that, the views are stunning.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for a family gathering. Of the 4 bedrooms, 2 were huge, and 2 were tiny. Not a great setup for 8 adults.The rest of the house was quite nice, with several seating areas inside and out. The firepit on the patio is a nice feature, but the motion sensor floodlight absolutely killed the night-time atmosphere and made star watching virtually impossible. Several lights in the house had burnt out bulbs, which caused some issues.Road noise is almost constant, as the house is right on highway M22. Aside from road issues, the location is convenient to Traverse City and the Leelanau Peninsula. On the positive side, the house has a great view of the bay, and sunrises were wonderful. No dock, but the lake level was down a bit, so we actually had a small sand beach.

Excellent Location & Yard, House Needs Updating

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The location can't be beat, under 10 minutes to Traverse City and right on 22 for easy access to so many MI landmarks. The outdoor space is also incredible with a big back yard for games, large deck and patio for meals, and a small but private beach perfect for floating and enjoying the lake (bring water shoes, it's sandy for a bit but then rocky). The house itself had great space, we loved the big living room with the bar and views, but it definitely needs work as recent reviews also state. Paint scuffed, old water stains, outdated decor, heavily used furniture, and many burnt out light bulbs. Also be aware that one of the basement bedrooms isn't great, with no closet (but a strange door to a sauna?) and right next to a mechanical closet for constant noise at night. There were also some annoyances like a sprinkler system that ran all the time and a flood light over the patio that would come on at night with no switch to turn it off. There are a few inaccuracies in the listing (only 1 bathroom has a tub not 2, and the bed descriptions under Rooms & Beds is accurate, but the written description under About This Property is wrong). Again, we did truly enjoy our stay and we would come back if the house got a face lift, but if you're looking for a high end rental this isn't it. For what they charge, we expected better.

The home was in a great location, only 15 minutes from downtown. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the home and the outdoor areas. The patio outside was filled with spider webs and sticks. It was obvious it had not been cleaned up in awhile. The sandy beach area could have also used a clean up. It was covered in washed up seaweed and branches. Expected much more cleanliness and upkeep especially for the price we paid to book this rental.

Fabulous Location - house needs updates

Pros: Location, Location, Location (direct water front) - thatā€™s the #1 reason you want this house. Beach out back - great for launching kayaks and having kids play. Outdoor spaces were fabulous for enjoying the water views. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. House layout offers expansive rooms that easily fit our family of 8. Driveway fit all our cars. Covered patio/walk out from basement offered great storage for our bikes and kayaks. Cute downtown area at Traverse City is just 10 minutes away. Outdoor toys are available in storage box outside. Cons: Inside of house was not in top condition, plus as the pictures show, the decor is dated. Exterior needs power wash. Interior needs deep clean. Road out front has frequent High speed traffic plus road noise. Basement bathroom door does not have a lock. Outdoor furniture is older and showing wear, and even though someone mowed the grass, the grass growing in between all the stone takes away from the beauty of the well-designed hardscapes. We looked at a lot of other places, and read the reviews, and made an informed decision primarily based on location. Hope this is helpful to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hi we went to Be Dazzled for 3 nights it was a great location beautiful beach front without a road in between the beach. It was spacious and bedrooms were nice. Kitchen well stocked, but old outdated coffee maker, cook ware and utensils and very old outdoor grill. The other negative was the Refrigerators water dispenser was not working so we didnā€™t have filtered water so we relied on purchasing water which was a little inconvenient. We did have ice though which was nice. We had a hard time regulating the temperature in the house lower level was freezing and the main floor was hot. The house was overall clean but it did have many spiderwebs in it and dead bugs laying around and the one thing that really bothered me was the outside area the deck and front door was very dirty and again many spider webs all over the doors leading outside. I hade to dust and sweep the back patio even the siding outside was pretty dirty. It needed to be hosed down , which I should have done. Which was fine but you pay for a cleaning service so I should have been done. The outside is the best part of the houses appeal. I donā€™t mean to be all negative we had a great time and would rent it again. Next time I would stress the cleanliness though. The managing company were very nice and helpful. Attention to details

As I read in a previous reviewā€¦ there needs to be some attention to the items inside and outside of the house. Several pillows are torn or appear dirty. Outside there is a lounger that is torn up . Dishwasher and ice/water in fridge door was not working and a couple of light bulbs needed to be replaced. Management Company was great to work with and quickly contacted up letting us know my husband had left his wedding ring there.

It's a great location, close to TC and Sutton's bay. Shopping and wineries are just a short drive, but if you just want to chill and watch the water, this is the place too! I would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful Location

You can not beat the view & location. The house is very nice but needs some updates (mostly with the kitchen appliances). The master bathroom does not have a door which makes it awkward when you're on a girls weekend. Plenty of space and three full bathrooms is very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our girls weekend celebrating my MIL's 80th birthday.

Spectacular view

Perfect for a weekend get away with friends! The sunrise view was amazing! Home was spacious clean and comfortable. Great access to walking on the beach!
