Our holiday home in Matnog, Sorsogon—my wife's hometown—is a peaceful family retreat from Manila. Located by the roadside and a short walk from a quiet beach, it offers both relaxation and adventure. Subic Beach, known for its beauty, is just a boat ride away. We warmly invite you and your loved ones to enjoy a memorable stay at our home away from home.

Our house is a three-story residence thoughtfully designed for both functionality and comfort. The first floor serves as the heart of the home, featuring a spacious and inviting living area where the family gathers to relax and unwind. Adjacent to it is the dining area, perfect for sharing meals and entertaining guests. The modern kitchen is well-equipped thus making meal preparation both convenient and enjoyable.

Moving up to the second floor, you'll find three cozy and well-appointed bedrooms, each designed to provide a comfortable retreat for rest and privacy. This floor also includes a half comfort room, which is ideal for quick use and adds to the convenience for both family members and visitors.

The third floor is a more private and tranquil space. It houses a patio that offers a great view and a refreshing outdoor escape—perfect for morning coffee, evening relaxation, or small gatherings.

This is a homestay that offers a cozy, home-like atmosphere—not a hotel. Guests are expected to be self-sufficient, including preparing their own meals and attending to their personal and group needs. Hotel-style services such as daily housekeeping or room service are not provided.

We do provide basic essentials to get you started, including bathroom tissue, dishwashing liquid, and hand wash. However, guests are kindly expected to replenish these items as needed for the duration of their stay.

We appreciate your understanding and ask that you treat the space with care and respect, just as you would in your own home.

Guests are welcome to utilize the entire property, with the exception of the third-floor room, which is our private area. However, you are more than welcome to relax and enjoy the open roof deck garden lounge on the third floor.

Please TAKE NOTE of the other details before booking:

● To prioritize safety and comfort, only guests with confirmed bookings are permitted inside the house. We kindly request that you refrain from inviting additional visitors or unregistered guests after making your reservation. Our home is NOT a resort and has limited resources, which are reserved exclusively for confirmed guests.

● Please note that entry will be denied to anyone exceeding the declared capacity of the house.

● Due to our proximity to the ocean, sand and salt often gets blown towards our house, causing some areas to become dusty quickly. Additionally, this can cause oxidation on materials like metal, so the appearance of rust should be noted.

● Once in a while, our water may taste salty and appear rusty. This is due to our unique location, nestled between a lake and near the ocean. The proximity to both these bodies of water can sometimes affect the taste and appearance of our water supply.

● Towels are not provided for sanitary reasons, please bring your own.

● Any use of illegal substances or engagement in prohibited activities is strictly prohibited.

● We would appreciate it if you could treat our home with respect and care, as if it were your own.

● Avoid staining the bed and sheets. Stained bed and sheets will be charged to the guest.

● Kindly refrain from rearranging any furniture, whether indoors or outdoors. Any damage resulting from such actions will be charged to the guests.

● You are welcome to use the air conditioning to lower the temperature, but kindly ensure to switch it off before leaving the house and utilize the Sleep function while sleeping. The aircon units we possess are not industrial-grade and are not intended to be used continuously.

● Smoking or Vaping is prohibited inside the premises and within the vicinity of the house. You may smoke or vape outside, but please note that it is at your own risk.

● Videoke is not permitted on the premises.

● When using the appliances or cookware and kitchenware, please handle them with care. In the event of damage or breakage, you will be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.

● Strictly NO PETS allowed.
