First wow was parking for 5 to 6 cars. All 3 bedrooms were large as well as their attached bathrooms. Bunk beds were comfortable. Loft pull out needs replacing. Couch in game room very comfortable to sleep on. Lots of space for socializing, meals, and games. AC was very good. Kitchen was stocked for large group cooking. We did have to go buy forks. Water pressure and temp was very good all week Hot tub on the deck was hot and jets were strong. Appreciate the things to do and coupon book. What would have made an even better "5" stay...hand rail going down stairs needs tightening. Jacuzzi in one bathroom didn't hold water and jets not working. Removal of many large cob webs on the deck and furniture. Couldn't find a broom to knock them down myself. May need to remove or replace cushions on deck furniture. Better lighting on deck and main entrance. Putting area not as nice as photos.Bunk room bathroom had damaged ceiling tiles and moldy shower curtain.We also saw the field mouse. And yes they are a pain to catch. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Oh and the visiting bears can open car doors. So keep your car doors locked.

Check in was not an issue. The knifes could use sharpening and some serving bowls. Otherwise the kitchen facilities were great.

Love the size of Cabin and it was clean, did have a couple things that had some wear and tear. Pool /billiard table pockets were coming updone. Air hockey cable broken. Cabnet in kitchen missing/btoken. But over all was great there was 12 of us and had more than enough room.

Good: Excellent location to witness wildlife up close (a lot of bear activity). Close to Gatlinburg. Big deck with hot tub. Lg cabin. Bad: No basics, such as a broom and dustpan- we bought one in town. Refrigerator shelves broken, and sign on refrigerator addressing the fact it doesn't stay cool. No pool despite it being part of the listing. Asked 3x for pool location/access info and was not given anything other than 'community pool and Cobbly Nob' response. Little areas of neglected maintenance such as broken blinds in several rooms, broken/missing cabinet door in kitchen, burnt out light bulbs in living room, extensive cobwebs/dead bugs in corners, broken toilet paper holder, strong stench in couch of main floor living room, stains on carpets downstairs/musty smell in downstairs area. MICE- numerous mice, seen daily in multiple areas of the cabin, and at one point one ran over freshly prepared food sitting on the kitchen counter- was told an exterminator would be out to assess the situation and no one ever arrived when we were told they would be there. We cleaned up quite a bit of trash that was left out back behind the deck, & there is a lot more in the woods. Games on deck missing pieces.This cabin has the potential to be an amazing rental, but there are a vast array of minor maintenance issues that need addressed. Cleaning is sub par. Road to cabin is washed out in multiple areas** Must have strong transmission and excellent brakes as the incline is very steep**

We hate leaving negative reviews, but this property was disappointing.The house was noticeably dirty when we arrived. There were stains on the carpet and couch, random splatter on the walls, and the deck was filthy. The biggest concern was finding mouse droppings in the silverware drawer.There were also quite a few maintenance issues, including missing carpet on the stairs, a missing cabinet door, a broken cabinet in one of the kids’ rooms, a dent in the refrigerator, and a pool table pocket that kept falling out. The basement had a strange smell, there were no blinds on the basement-level doors, and the back deck door didn’t lock properly, which was a safety concern. There was also mold on the shower ceiling and no working front outdoor lights.One thing that seemed odd was not being asked to strip the beds or start laundry, which has been standard at most rentals we’ve stayed in. Combined with the overall cleanliness issues, it made us question how well the property was being turned over between guests.We understand that rentals can have some wear and tear, but there were simply too many cleanliness and maintenance issues for us to feel comfortable staying here again.

We loved the location and the views. However, for the amount we paid for two days, we expected more. The sink was stopped up and there was an odor, though I will say that once we contacted the owner, the issue was resolved the next day. The bathrooms and kitchen can use an upgrade. This home is perfect for families with children, and the beds were very comfortable. Based on the photos and the weather, my friends and I expected to be able to sit around the outdoor fireplace, but later learned it was not included in the amenities. The 10 a.m. checkout was a first for us and, unfortunately, is enough to make us not return. I should note we arrived 30mins early and was allowed to check in. With the cleaning fee, the cleanliness of the home could be improved. On a positive note, we were able to wash our clothes after ATV riding, which was a plus. We loved the indoor fireplaces, and although it was still cold, heaters were provided. We enjoyed watching TV and playing games together in front of the fireplaces. We enjoyed having a bathroom in each room and upstairs. With 7 of us we were able to shower quickly.

We had a wonderful trip to the Smoky Mountains staying at this house. It was conveniently located to Gatlinburg and the National Park and was great for our large group of families!

The kitchen is very well-equipped, and the cabin is spacious and beautiful. There is room for improvement regarding cleanliness in the bathrooms and on the deck—I saw mouse droppings and traps, though that is likely normal for the area. I ran into an issue, but communicating with the host was easy and it was resolved quickly; there are plenty of towels. The fire pit area is lovely. We never found a pool, but we didn't need one either. I would recommend it for a large group.
