Delta Digs is a fabulous 1-bedroom guest suite (private vacation apartment) designed, built, and decorated in true Delta style by local artisans. The 425 square foot, ground level (no stairs) flat is constructed in the circa 1897 Clarksdale Telegraph Office at Second & Delta in the heart of the Historic District downtown. Featuring a custom Queen-size bed designed by Delta artist Randall Andrews, with Posturepedic mattress and Magic Fingers, hardwood floors, diner booth from a classic Nashville diner, elegant leather sofa, 4-foot X 5-foot custom shower with Speakman faucets, bath and vanity, Mini-split heating and air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, HD flat screen with Roku and Netflix. 600 count 100% Cotton Sheets, Down Pillows, and 100% Cotton bath towels. We feature original artwork by many Mississippi artists (painters, photographers, designers). This is a huge 425 square foot flat, not a small hotel room. Free Wi-Fi

Delta Digs is professionally cleaned and maintained.

Location, location, location.

Located across the street from Hambone Art Gallery and around the corner from restaurants Yazoo Pass, Stone Pony, Bluesberry Cafe, Grandma's House of Pancakes, Hooker Grocer and Levon's Bar and Grill. Blues clubs Ground Zero Blues Club and Red's Juke Joint are within a 4-minute stroll. The New Roxy and the Delta Blues Museum are within 3 blocks. There is a wine and spirits shop, plus a convenience store within the block. Hambone Gallery and CatHead Delta Blues & Folk Art are all within one block of our front door.

The Grammy Museum Mississippi is located a short 35 minute drive from our front door in Cleveland, Mississippi. Drive down in the mid-morning and enjoy a stroll around the museum; drop by Dockery Plantation for a quick see as you head back to Clarksdale by 3:30pm - 4:00pm for a rest. Then it's restaurants galore, "real deal" live Mississippi Delta music (365 days/year), bars and shopping all within a 5 minute walk from Delta Digs front door. No reason to drive.........leave your car parked out front of your guest suite and stroll from venue to venue and enjoy.

This was the coolest and most eccentric place I’ve ever stayed in! The decor was outstanding. The location couldn’t have been any better. You can walk to literally everything. Check in/out was smooth and easy. The host/manager very communicative and helpful. 10/10 would stay again.

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed at! The location was perfect, within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The room was incredible and so unique. We will definitely be back!!!

Location, location, location! The Delta Digs was comfortable, affordable, and within walking distance of everything downtown. Clarksdale is full of history and character, making it a great place to explore.Hannah was wonderful to communicate with and made everything easy. The locals were also incredibly friendly and welcoming.We visited Clarksdale for the Sunflower River Blues & Gospel Festival, and you can truly feel the blues throughout this place. There’s just something special about Clarksdale and its rich musical history.We had a great stay and would definitely recommend The Delta Digs and a visit to Clarksdale!

Cool studio in the heart of downtown

Great location. Studio is fantastically furnished and exudes tonnes of character. super comfy bed and there were a couple if complementary beers in the fridge which was a nice touch!

Fun & comfy

This was such a fun & comfy place to stay in Clarksdale! It was so close to everything that we could have walked had it not been freezing during our visit. We loved the quirky style of the space, especially the xylophone coffee table! The bed was super comfy, & we got a great night's sleep! Highly recommend staying here!

The property is like stepping back in blues history. If you are there on Tuesday night, check out Hambone across the street…..also, the pecan beer was great!

Cool place to stay

Our second trip to Clarksdale but our first time at the Delta Digs - we loved it. Great location, comfortable bed and great shower. We loved it because we could walk almost everywhere we went. We'll be back again. Our friends stayed next door in the Squeeze Box and they really loved it also - I would like to stay in it maybe next time we go. Both places are really great. As you said, with our central location in the Downtown Historic District of Clarksdale you can easily walk to all the restaurants, juke joints, music venues, museums, bars, art galleries, and shopping in the downtown district. There is also a convenience store and a wine & spirits shop within a block of our front door. Dig the Delta Digs

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Delta Digs Studio. The design reflects great taste, combined with southern folklore. Everything was thought of, from the coffee on the counter to the cork screw in the jar. We loved it and we will be back. Delta Digs sure is a Clarksdale jewel.

Fun, cool place

We stayed at Delta Digs for the Hambone Festival which was right across the street - so the location was perfect. It is so well located for restaurants, museums, Ground Zero's, and Red's. All are within walking distance. The room is huge with plenty of room to spread out and decorated in funky, fun style as others have mentioned. A couple of welcome beers, bottled water and coffee were provided too.

Laura, Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We are happy that you loved Delta Digs location, design, furnishings, and amenities. Our centralized location in the "middle of it all" allows guests to park at the suites, and walk to all the restaurants, music venues, museums, venues, CatHead, and the wine & spirits shop in the Historic Downtown district. This historic building is located on the corner of Delta & Second, the best location in downtown. You can easily walk in less than five (5) minutes to all the live music venues downtown (Ground Zero Blues Club, Red's, New Roxy, Hambone Art & Music Gallery, Bluesberry, Bad Apple Blues Club & more), the Delta Blues Museum, restaurants (Yazoo Pass, Ground Zero Blues Club, Stone Pony, Dutch Oven, Hooker Groce, Levon's, Grandma's House of Pancakes, Bluesberry Cafe, Blue Cotton Bake Shop), Meraki Coffee Shop, the Wine & Spirits Shop, the convenience store, art galleries and key shopping (Cat Head, Nellie May's, Magpie, Delta Creations, Collective Seed & Supply).
In addition to the historic building, and its key location, the property offered a unique setting in which to build the Delta Digs, and its sister properties Squeezebox, and The Hooker Hotel.
