This property was even better than expected! Very comfortably fit our large group both inside and out. Very thoughtful touches inside for a comfortable stay. Outside had so many different areas for the group to hang out. Would definitely recommend!

Everything was PERFECT. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Host was super communicative. Property was immaculate. This was the perfect location for a Bachelor party on the lake.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home while we were in town for a family wedding. The home was absolutely lovely, comfortable, and spacious, with everything we could have needed. It truly felt like a home away from home and was the perfect place for our family to gather and spend time together during such a special occasion.The home was beautifully maintained, thoughtfully equipped, and incredibly welcoming. The host provided an abundance of household supplies, snacks for the kids, and welcome bottles of wine for the adults after a long day of traveling. Our host Kurt was awesome! He was accommodating, responsive, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while celebrating such a meaningful family milestone.Our only regret was that we didn't get to take the pontoon boat, kayaks, or canoe out with the kids because of the heavy rain. Next time!We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and memorable place to stay!

Kurt was very accommodating, friendly, and communicative. The home was clean, as pictured, and gorgeous with an amazing spot on the lake. It is a great place to stay with a big group of people!

The house is historical but in great working order and very clean! Host was accessible and very friendly! The location and view were beyond measure! To top off they decorated for Christmas, absolutely stunning!! Highly highly recommend!! Did I mention stocked with snacks, drinks, (even champagne)!!!

We had come for a family trip and wanted a place we could relax and enjoy some time on the lake. Our family had a blast swimming on the lake, paddleboarding, kayaking, and using the pontoon boat. We were also close to indiana dunes so we spent one day there on the beach. Highly recommend this beautiful landscape for a relaxing trip! Working with the owners was also smooth and they tended to our needs. We definitely will be back in the future.

A Spectacular Lakeside Retreat: Highly RecommendedFrom the moment we arrived, the property made a lasting first impression -spectacular, well maintained, and rich with classic charm. We were a large group of 27 guests spanning two generations, with parents and youth aged 14–19, and the space accommodated everyone with ease.The younger guests were wonderfully engaged throughout our stay. The lake offered endless entertainment: kayaking, boating, and beach soccer kept the energy high, while indoor games like chess provided quieter moments of friendly competition. Hide and seek across the grounds became an unexpected highlight. Our girls in particular gravitated toward the property's cozy corners : swings, hammocks, and peaceful nooks perfectly suited for reading, photography, painting, and conversations.In the evenings, Bonfire gatherings brought the whole group together under the open sky, with fire-roasted marshmallows, heartfelt songs, and moments of reflection that left everyone feeling grounded and grateful.Our host Kurt was both generous and accommodating, ensuring our group had everything we needed. He takes clear pride in his property and its amenities, and rightly so...... that care is evident in every detail.We left with full hearts and cherished memories. Our group of 22 had lots of room to spread out, and there were great indoor and outdoor eating areas. The beds were exceptionally comfortable!We enjoyed boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and outdoor walks, as well as indoor games. The shuffleboard game in the porch was often in use!It was easy to connect with the host; Kurt was very responsive to our requests. We are so thankful we had an opportunity to enjoy this beautiful, historic home on the shore of Long Lake.

We had an incredible stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family reunion! We were in town visiting family and hosted about 20 people during our stay. The homeowner was wonderful to work with from the start, answering all of our questions and making sure everyone’s needs were met while respecting the property.We were also there during tornado warnings, and the homeowner stayed in touch throughout the storm, providing updates and making sure we were safe. When the power went out, the backup generators kicked on almost instantly, which gave everyone peace of mind.The house itself was perfect for a large group. The huge dining table made it easy for everyone to gather for meals and games, and the private beach was a favorite spot. The boats and canoes were a huge hit, and nearly every room had beautiful views. We also loved relaxing in the hammock and jacuzzi after busy days.The home is peaceful and has a great mix of historic charm and modern conveniences. There was plenty to do for both kids and teenagers, and everyone in our family found something they loved. We made wonderful memories here and would absolutely stay again. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to gather with family or friends.

Great property for family reunion of 12 adults and 13 children. Loved the house, the little beach, pontoon boat, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. And well stocked with games and puzzles. Likely go back again. Very clean and comfortable.
