Primary Bedroom (Main Floor): Queen bed, dresser, closet and blackout blinds

Bedroom #2 (Main Floor): Single-over-double bunk bed, dresser, closet, and blackout blinds


BATHROOM
Each bathroom is stocked with essentials (shampoo/conditioner/body wash & a hair dryer) to help lighten the load for you when packing.

Bathroom (Main Floor): Full bathroom with a shower/tub combo


GOURMET KITCHEN
The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm (should you so desire!)

- Fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a toaster.

LAKE/BEACH ACCESS
Walkout your door to enjoy the private beach & marina just down the road. There is a boat rental shop nearby for paddle boards & other beach essentials.


DECK/OUTDOOR SPACE
Enjoy your private south-facing deck/patio space to soak in the saltwater hot tub, catch some rays, grill up a feast on the BBQ & take in the stunning lake & mountain views.
*Please note that the hot tub is a shared amenity with the upstairs tenants, if present.*


LAUNDRY
This unit features an ensuite washer/dryer with laundry pods and dryer sheets for your use.


PARKING
You will have access to two (2) parking spots; the right side of the driveway for one (1) vehicle, and one (1) spot on the road in front of the house.


ADDITIONAL AMENITIES
- 24/7 Assistance: Our goal is to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We do not live on the property, but you can reach us 24/7 via text if you need us for any reason.


CONSUMABLES
Please note that we provide a starter supply of consumables (toilet paper, paper towel, coffee etc.) but do not provide refills during the stay.


GUEST ACCESS
You will have dedicated access to the lower-level suite during your stay. Please note that you will not have access to the upper-level suite, as that is reserved for other guests, and that access to the hot tub is shared with them (if present.)


NEED MORE SPACE?
Check out our upper-level suite (Cowichan Lake Haven) or the full house rental (Cowichan Lakehouse) for bigger groups.


CHECK-IN/CHECKOUT
After booking, you will receive access to your personalized guest portal, with information on the property and its amenities. 3 days before check-in, you will receive detailed check-in instructions and directions to the property.

We have set up a seamless entry for our guests. There will be no reason to slow you down upon your arrival. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there`s something you need during your stay with us.


NEIGHBOURHOOD
The 34 km long Cowichan Lake is a major landmark on the Pacific Marine Circle Route, a 250 km touring route connecting Cowichan in the east to Port Renfrew and Sooke in the west, featuring spectacular mountain, river and ocean scenery. This lakeside town and its dramatic surroundings are a premier vacation destination for families, outdoor lovers and freshwater sports enthusiasts.

Called the fly-fishing capital of Canada, the town is the western terminus for the Trans Canada Trail. The Cowichan Lake Sports Arena provides ice hockey and curling, and there are baseball and soccer fields and a walking trail. Water ski, or rent a houseboat and experience leisurely life on the water. The Heritage Cowichan River, which originates at the lake, offers excellent whitewater kayaking, and is a popular destination for tubing in the summer.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:
* You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
* You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.
* You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal.


HOUSE RULES:
1. Please respect the neighbours and the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. There is a noise monitor in the unit that will test decibels throughout the day.

2. No parties or events will be permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit is 4 people.

3. There is no smoking permitted on the property, including vapes. Any proof of smoking will result in a $300.00 fee for odour removal.

4. Although pets are permitted on the property, we ask that you please keep them off the linens and furniture. Any excessive dog hair or damage will be charged to the guest`s name on the reservation.

5. We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.

6. Hot tub use should be restricted to 30 minutes and avoided by anyone who may be pregnant. After each use, it is the guest’s responsibility to add 1 cap of boost granules (chlorine granules) into the middle of the hot tub while the jets are turned on for 20 minutes. Please leave the lid open for 45 minutes and remember to close the lid to avoid turning it into a cold plunge! We find that this is best done at the end of the evening as the hot tub should not be used for 3 hours following the chlorine cycle. If you remove the chlorine floater during your use it is the guest’s responsibility to make sure it is placed back in the hot tub after each use. We ask that if you are enjoying a beverage in the tub you only use plastic cups. If the hot tub water is not properly maintained and requires more than 1 site visit for maintenance and/or a full drain and refill, there will be an additional charge of $400.00.
