Can’t say enough nice things! Location is wonderful - private and quiet with gorgeous views. Hosts are simply fantastic- super accommodating and they provided so many little touches to make our stay truly amazing. Highly recommend and will stay again!

We came to town to bike Pikes Peak & spend a couple of additional days doing some gravel rides. The place is beautiful & perfectly situated close to King Soopers, a short drive to downtown & the Olympic Museum. We also felt safe heading out on our bikes right from the house.Check-in was a breeze & the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking dinners & breakfasts.

We loved our stay here and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Colorado Springs! It's close to most of the main attractions, and some great local shops. The house was amazing, with comfortable furniture, a well appointed kitchen, beautiful floors, and was pet friendly. Our hosts included plenty of toiletries in the bathroom, in case we forgot anything, like soap, lotion, toothbrushes and more. Something that really wowed me was that, not only was there a printer available, there was clear step by step instructions provided on it that made it so easy to connect to and use! We got to meet Emily, Derek, and their dogs and they were all very kind and friendly. Check in and check out was a breeze, and the whole stay went very smoothly. We really appreciated everything this property had to offer!

We’re both small business owners who love creating and building — Derek runs his own construction company specializing in decks, log homes, and carpentry, while Emily owns a flooring, cabinetry, and interior design store. Together, we’ve poured a lot of heart into this home, from design to finishing touches, and it’s full of personal touches from our adventures in nature and on the road.

We’re big fans of hiking, motorcycles, and spending time with our three friendly dogs. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing our space with guests, and we’re happy to be on-site if you need anything while giving you privacy during your stay. We love hosting because it allows us to meet people from all over and help them feel at home while they explore the area.

The name comes from a single blue rose Derek gave Emily during one of the most challenging moments of remodeling the upstairs into a short-term rental. Amid sawdust, paint cans, and endless to-do lists, that gift became a symbol of strength, determination, and love — a reminder of the heart behind this home. You’ll see the rose in a vase on the dining room table.

Our upstairs apartment offers a private, comfortable space with breathtaking views of Pikes Peak. It’s fully equipped with two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a dining table that seats 8, a cozy living room with board games, office supplies, and a printer — perfect for families, groups, or remote work.
