Perfect beach stay

Steve and Lisa's home was the perfect place for myself, my husband, and daughter. You cannot beat the location with easy beach access and a balcony view overlooking the ocean. The space was clean and well stocked and the building management is decent. Highly recommend staying here!

This was a cozy, beachfront condo, just as described in the listing. Loved the ocean view & the fact that we were at the end of the strip, away from all the congestion.

Great Condo on the Beach

This condo was amazing. My family just stayed here and it was awesome. The place is clean and big, the building is clean, and the area is awesome. They have a bunch of sand toys, chairs, umbrellas, and a balcony overlooking the beach! If you're looking for a kid friendly place to stay that has it all look no further!

Great location!

We had a wonderful time in this rental. There was plenty of room and a kitchen with full size appliances. We especially enjoyed this southern region of the boardwalk as it wasn’t as congested on the beach as some other places we’ve stayed. Great ocean view from all the rooms as well as the balcony!

Condo was just as pictured. It was a great home away from home! Good location, clean, comfortable, cute seaside decor, beautiful view from balcony. Everything we needed for our stay. Convenient parking. Very nice beach. Would highly recommend :)

Perfect!!

This rental had absolutely everything we needed/wanted plus a whole lot more. The description and pictures are spot on. The place was incredibly clean, there is a ton of room, the view is amazing, and the beach is beautiful! We had such a great time!

The property was very bright and clean. The building staff were very good to work with when we needed to locate the breaker box. The master bedroom mattress was a little rough, but the location and view made up for that.

Nice Condo

Nice condo on the 13th floor of dolphin run. Balcony view was great. And rooms were clean. Owner's of condo were very helpful however management at the front desk is why i will never return. The front desk will lie to you over and over just so they dont have to deal with any situation we had. If it wasnt for the management at dolphin run i wouldnt have any issues coming back.

Great Place

It is a bit dated, but there are also really cool small things. Like a butter dish! How nice to have a butter dish on vacation! At least that’s what we thought! The location is great. There was a basketball hoop across the street which our teenagers really enjoyed. Be mindful that the laundry is actually a community coin laundry machine on the same floor. For some reason I thought we would have our own. Maybe I misread it. Good communication and easy access to all that the condo/beach has to offer. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Check For BEACH EVENTS!

Overall the property itself was fine. One item to note is the balcony is quite narrow, you can't sit facing the beach without your knees literally hiting the railing. Unfortunately the week we rented, a huge country musing festival,"Beach It", was scheduled after we had booked the property. This event was set up on the beach directly in front of the property. From Monday on, access to the beach was restricted, you had to walk blocks down to 8th street to even get to the beach. Construction went on all day with continuous noise from trucks, bulldozers, cranes, etc. Friday and Saturday road access was completely blocked off with tens of thousands of people expected. We left 2 days early. The owner offered $400 off (less than one day's rent) when this was brought to his attention, pointing out that I should be glad that he didn't double my rent for the concert. I haven't seen any refund yet. VRBO is usless in this type of problem, they just say to contact the owner. I would be very careful renting this property and check continuously if there are major beach events scheduled - unless you want to go to the event, then I guess it could be OK.

View makes up for a lot

The place is well equipped but a little dated. Cable in the living room as well as the master bed room kept cutting in and out, probably because of the cabling that was running underneath the carpet. There are also still VHS tapes and recorders, which represents the age of the property.

Exactly what we were looking for!

The condo was clean and had everything we needed all week. The oceanfront balcony was amazing and we loved having the beach so close! Beware of the garage….VERY low clearance.

Ocean View Peace

Everyone agreed it was the best location on the boardwalk. Not busy, packed or loud. Literally every single thing you would need is located inside the condo. We were in heaven for a week and would do it all again! Tip for folks who think this is far down from the main drag, FREEBEE is an app for a FREE car ride within the city limits. It is the city’s answer to updated public transportation. Phasing out the trolley and increasing FreeBee cars. It was a treat to be scooped up in a brand new Tesla and explore all the area had to offer painlessly. Our wait time was never more than 5 min! Book this location, you will not be disappointed!

Amazing Get Away

The condo owners were attentive to my needs. Made themselves available if there was anything needed. This was a great location to everything that you want or need. I would stay here again, in the same condo. Thank you for making the stay a great experience. Even having to rent towels, sheets was not an issue. The rental company went above/beyond to make sure I had license the first night I was there. Had a good experience.

Sisters vacation to Virginia Beach

The location was great. Good access to the inlet and tour boats. Great access to restaurants on boardwalk. First Landing State Park was a wonderful hiking experience. Fully equipped kitchen. We saw dolphins and osprey ever day from out balcony. The Dolphin Run staff were all very helpful and pleasant. The condo owners, Steve and Lisa, provided us with a lot of useful information and were very responsive to our inquiries. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing vacation.

We wanted to be located right on the beach and boardwalk. We visited a few times before buying and fell in love with the area. It's a short walk to fabulous restaurants so we don't need our car once we arrive!
