Great location lovely home

location was prefect. Peaceful, quiet, nice property. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Communicating with owner was very easy. Check in was simple and the place was all ready for us. The only two things that I wanted to note. The pillows on the bed were very uncomfortable. Alittle too plump. The kitchen could use some decent size glares. Otherwise, no complaints at all. Very happy with our stay and I would happily come again!

This was our 2nd stay at Lighthouse. The owners think of everything and are very accessible if needed. The house was perfect - clean, comfortable, great air conditioning! Location is perfect for anything around Bradenton, all a short drive away. We'll be back!

Cortez getaway

We found the property spotless and extraordinarily well appointed. The hosts truly took care of our every need, including treats for our furry family member. The house has absolutely everything available to make guests feel at home and allow them to relax and enjoy enjoy all the nearby attractions.

Best location ever

We have stayed multiple times and the hosts are so friendly. The place is always very clean and the location is very close to several beautiful beaches. The property has everything you need for your stay. Highly recommended

Good location for us

We stayed here while visiting family in the area. The hostess was very accommodating when we arrived in the area a bit early and when we were looking for a specific dish we were looking for. The property is well stocked with a welcome treat basket, spices, shampoos etc. The mattresses are very soft so if that’s what you like then you are in luck. The second bathroom is off the enclosed patio and well done. The home has carpet and allows pets. There are many decorations that are beach themed. We appreciated being able to stay in this home., thanks Deb.

Absolutely the best!

Omg from the moment we got to the house to the moment we left, everything was perfect! Miss Deb and Jimmy had the whole place clean and tidy and even had some shampoo and other toiletries there for us (since of course we forgot our own lol). She also had chocolates and wine waiting for us on the kitchen table! The Light House Cottage is so cute and well decorated that we felt right at home! And Miss Deb was very quick to get back to us if needed anything. Definitely planning to come back and stay there again! Cannot recommend this place enough!

The Most Wonderful Vacation

The house was remarkably clean. There were lots of beach related decorations that got you into vacation mode right away. Deb is a true artist with a great eye for blending various genre. We were blessed to be able to enjoy the surroundings she and Jim provided. The fact there are the nicest people ever just made our vacation even better.

Perfect house Perfect location

Relaxing Oasis

Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. A mix of whimsical mermaid and sailor motif. Loved the Carnival cruise ship window built into a door. Debbie has a gift for decorating and going above and beyond for her guests. Kitchen fully stocked with an assortment of plates,glasses, kuerig cofee machine and a wide variety of other appliances. Cottage is immaculately clean. Thank You Deb and Jimmy for a fantastic stay!!!

Fantastic place to stay

Owners lived next door - very helpful but non-obtrusive. Decor is so Florida. Everything I'd walk into a room or out on the lanai there was something different that caught my eye to look at. They have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible & very homey. I definitely would go back in a heart beat. Love the Lighthouse Cottage!

Beautiful place

We loved it there so muxh we didnt want to leave. The please is sooo adorable. Next time we come we want to bring our dogs as it was soo dog friendly. The whole area was nice and im so glad i found the place when i did. It has everything. Just bring food. She was super om communication throughout the stay and even called and offered us advice on roads back to the airport since a hurricane had come in. 10/10 will stay again.

Charming and perfect

We were meeting a friend in Bradenton and needed a place to stay with separate rooms, so I went to VRBO. This place had a few key things we really wanted, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (unheard of, right?!) and private parking. We both have custom cars and are not really comfortable with leaving them in a parking lot for too long like a hotel, so having a car port and a driveway was spectacular. Those things alone were enough to make this a perfect fit, but the inside of the house was so well decorated. It's very vacation like, there are interesting paintings, statues, sculptures, coffee tables, silverware, shower curtains, everything is nautical/beach/mermaid themed. We spent the entire weekend pointing out things to the others. "Did you see the toilet handle is a mermaid tail?! I didn't even know they made those, who thought of that?!". The hospitality of the owners was amazing as well. The place was clean, A/C set, fans on, key on the table when we arrived. As an added touch they left wine and chocolate on the table for us to enjoy. And enjoy we did :-) . The location of the cottage is about 10 minutes from Bradenton Beach which stretches north and south into several other beaches and it's not hard to find an uncrowded spot and be sitting on the sand at the coast within 15 min of leaving this little cottage. Obviously you CAN stay closer to the beach, but I feel like this place is a better balance of cost and amenities. Overall we were all very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in the area.

Excellent trip

We enjoyed our time at this property. It was relaxing and quiet. We were welcomed with wine, chocolates and even some treats for our dogs which was all totally unexpected. The property was close to the beaches. We had all the amenities we could think of and then some. We will surely return for another stay. Deb was very communicative through the booking as well as through our stay.

Adorable cottage

This was by far the best VRBO rental we have ever stayed in. Everything was Immaculate and the owners thought of everything. Very comfortable and felt like home. I would highly recommend this cottage and look forward to staying agaiin

Tropical getaway

We arrived and our hosts immediately came over to greet us and show us the unit. It is decorated so beautifully with many unique pieces. This place is outfitted the way your own home would be. Deb has thought of everything you could want and then some. Our dogs were made to feel welcome and there is ample grass to walk them with a dog beach nearby. This was better than being on vacation as we felt at home in paradise. We can't wait to come back and enjoy some fantastic hospitality and sunshine. This is our new go to place in the area.

Tropical Paradise!

The stay at the lighthouse cottage was absolutely amazing and relaxing! The decor, colors, and amenties were delightful and the hospitality from the owners was truly welcoming. They made the check in/out process easy and worry free. Waking up and sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee having a view of palm trees, then being only minutes away from the beach , made it the ultimate tropical getaway!

Great Time

Second time staying at this location. We travel with a dog with a dog and can't ask for better property and owners. Only complaint is the mattress in the second bedroom. We will probably be back next year.
