Provencal villa in unique natural and calm setting with beautiful views

The property is located on top of 2 hectares of wooded land in a very quiet environment with beautiful views to the village of Fayence. Down the hill is a small river where it is possible to bath and picnic during the summer.
Heated infinity pool (11x6 m oxygen cleaned) with teak furniture and two separate outside dining tables for up to 10 persons. Barbecue facility.
4 bedrooms with marbled bathrooms and toilets, large living and dining room with modern american kitchen (fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, washing machine, ice machine, large fridge, ...). Wifi connection, Telephone, Fax, Printer, Safe and flat screen TV in every room. The entire property is air-conditioned.
The decoration is an elegant mix of 18th century Provençal furniture and modern equipment and paintings. Please note that the master bedrooms has several erotic paintings.
The property is situated halfway between the mediaeval villages of Fayence and Seillans that boast many excellent restaurants.

Super chic and well appointed home. If you are looking for extreme relaxation with family and friends, this is the place to stay. We stayed as two families and we all had a wonderful time, swimming, cooking, eating and relaxing. some lovely towns and places to visit nearby.

Great property in peaceful setting, but only 10 minutes drive from shops and restaurants in beautiful villages nearby. Very nice pool, well maintained gardens. Tastefully decorated and superbly equipped villa. Highly recommended.

The instructions to find the property need to be clearer. We were grateful to Johanna for all her help. The villa is high spec & very well equipped & tastefully furnished & decorated. Lovely views from all around the property & stunning planting In the extensive garden. Johanna was proactive in dealing with the couple of problems we incurred. The infinity heated pool is a real asset to the property. We had a great time.

Wonderful house!

We had four wonderful weeks in this amazing house! However, it was a bit difficult to find the right way at the end. Both Alain and Johanna were very helpful and forthcoming.

One of our best vacations

Our second visit - even better than first

This property is as good as it comes in the rental market. The views are wonderful, the swimming pool is excellent, first class kitchen with induction stove. Air conditioning very effective & efficient. All bedrooms on same level as living area except one makes it perfect for older visitors. Grounds immaculately maintained, and the property manager especially helpful.

Amazing stay in this beautiful house

Amazing house with stunning view. Luxury materials, decorations and furnitures. Well equipped kitchen with high standard on everything. Quite and peaceful area. A place to relax. we hardly left the house other than buying groceries. We were a family of 5 and didn't use one of the bedrooms so lots of space. We couldn't wish for anything more in this beautiful house.

Perfect in every way

A fantastic spot. The photos and description are accurate with that great 'wow' factor that you hope for. The customer service was efficient and always delivered. It was spotless upon arrival with a thorough weekly clean. The location is outstanding and the local villages offer excellent restaurants, cafes and shops. If you are looking for an action packed holiday there is plenty to offer with local lakes, gliding and golf.

Splendid Location

As others have stated the highlight of Alain’s house are the views and the many wonderful outside seating areas. This Is not to minimize the inside of the house, but what made this house truly special for us was the outside. The other highlight was the restaurant at the beginning of the road up to the house - we had three delightful meals there. And for us the willingness of Alain and Johanna to accommodate the special requests we had made our stay at the house possible. We want to thank them for their flexibility. Finally, Johanna was a delight to deal with during the four weeks we spent at the house.

Splendid isolation!

A group of 8 adults, we spent a very happy week in the villa. The house is as advertised and is nicely furnished and well equipped, with stunning views, attractive gardens. and a good size pool. It is a long way from any amenities, but that's the price for privacy, peace and a vista. We enjoyed long walks from the house through the woods and down to Fayence. We also walked to the excellent Le Castellaras restaurant for dinner. Communication with Alain was excellent, with super speedy responses to any queries. One caveat, the directions to find the house were hard to follow.

Fantastic villa

This is a lovely villa in an excellent location. The pool is superb and excellently situated right in front of the villa. There is a variety of places to sit and eat outside and the gardens are very attractive and well-maintained. It' s nicely secluded and has lovely views, but is also only a few minutes from Fayence. A trip to the Val d'Iris vineyard is well worthwhile. Inside, the villa is just as good. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are comfortable. The air conditioning is a welcome benefit. This was just right for our family with three teenagers and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Communications with Alain and Johanna were easy and swift at all times, and Johanna was very helpful checking us in and during our stay.

An exceptionally beautiful property!!!

The villa is of the top standard, beauitfully decorated and everything one needs for a luxury filled holiday. We live in London and stayed there for a week in May, so it was lovely to stay there while the skies were sunny and the weather was warm enough to swim in the heated pool. Every detail has been thought out from the quality bed linens, towels, tableware, outdoor furniture all totally put together for comfort and serenity. I rate this villa extremely highly and one of the best properties we have stayed at. We have stayed at a few in Italy and around France (Dodorgne region), but this one was the best. The veiws are stunning, the infinity pool a delight to hang around in the evenings for aperatifs!!! The sightseeing was great fun, loved the nearby villages and town and Nice one hour away. We plan on renting it again for a week in 2017!!!

Great stay, wonderful view and wonderful house/pool

It is a wonderful well maintained house with every modern convenience except for a clothes dryer (need to update description on VRBO icons). It is, for North Americans, a daunting drive down a single track road but you will acclimate after a couple of days. Once you do, it is only 15 minutes to the super market in Fayence. Blazing fast broadband. Have rented in France for 20 years and this house is far and away the best we've ever rented. The pool is exceptionally well maintained, and the outside dining tables very comfortable and practical. And the best part is the exceptional quiet and the view. Great location for exploring the Var and Alpes Maritimes.

Incredible Place!

Home now after 2 amazing weeks staying with family. This house is something that extra bit special! The location is perfect despite a bit of a windy hilly road to access it but this allows the peace and tranquility that Mas des Olivettes offers. The house is perfect for all ages and 8 of us stayed there with so much space for everyone. The decor is beautiful, the kitchen well equipped, the gardens stunning and a fabulous infinity pool overlooking Fayence. We struggled to leave the house each day as it was a haven away from the hustle and bustle. Johanna was lovely and very helpful with our enquiries, the villa was cleaned on the 2nd week and left immaculate. The most amazing unforgettable part of our holiday for us all was our daily visits from the Fox. She is absolutely beautiful, very confident and loves eggs and her particular favourite brie! We hope that the next people staying enjoy feeding and chilling out with the fox as much as we have done. This home provided us with wonderful memories and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.Go on book it, you will have no regrets!

Prachthuis op sublieme locatie

Wat een verborgen pareltje in het Zuiden van Frankrijk!Helemaal verscholen na een lange rit en hele klim naar boven in de bossen verbleven we in dit prachthuis. We verbleven al in vele huizen in het Zuiden van Frankrijk, maar dit huis was toch al het speciaalste en uitzonderlijkste van allemaal. Een magisch uitzicht vanuit alle terrassen alsook een heel mooi aangelegde tuin.Super (verwarmd) overloopzwembad die voor de nodige afkoeling zorgde.Overal airco in de volledige woning. De woning is voorzien van alle voorzieningen en gemak. Heel veel fijne details zoals de tuinverlichting 's avonds en het elektrische hekken maken het compleet. Complimenten aan Johanna voor het zo propere huis en de fijne ontvangst! Fayence is leuk dorpje met gezellige restaurantjes. Een uurtje rijden naar Saint-Maxime en dan overzetten met de boot naar Saint-Tropez is een aanrader.Bedankt Alain voor jullie prachtig huis waar we een week mochten verblijven!!!

Außergewöhnliches Haus in ruhiger Lage

Die Villa und das gesamte Anwesen sind sehr gepflegt, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, alles sehr sauber. Die Aufteilung des Hauses ist ebenfalls sehr durchdacht. Man hat von allen Seiten einen traumhaften Blick in die umliegende Landschaft und auf das Dörfchen Fayence. Der Garten mit dem phantastischen Infinity-Pool ist sehr geschmackvoll angelegt, man sieht, dass hier regelmäßig ein Gärtner Hand anlegt. Ein 2. Sonnenschirm für die Überdachung der Terrasse am Pool wäre prima, um auch als Langschläfer im Schatten frühstücken zu können. Das schöne Anwesen liegt sehr ruhig am Ende einer engen Straße. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, darunter ein hervorragend sortierter Supermarkt, sind in wenigen Minuten Fahrzeit zu erreichen. Wir haben uns von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute absolut wohl gefühlt. Ein kleines Paradies, in das wir jederzeit gerne zurückkehren würden. Danke an Johanna und Alain für die wunderbare, erholsame Zeit, die wir hier verbringen durften!

Un coin de Paradis

Un petit paradis

Des vacances de rêve. Franchement cette villa est magnifique, sûrement la plus belle que nous ayons louée depuis des années. La vue est fantastique. On se retrouve dans un endroit calme et reposant loin du bruit. La piscine très grande est idéalement chauffée. La maison et le jardin sont superbement entretenus. De plus tous les gens qui nous ont accueillis ont été extrêmement gentils et à l'écoute. La région est très belle et cerise sur le gâteau, il y a un excellent restaurant tout près de la maison. Que dire de plus, sinon "allez y les yeux fermés", vous ne serez pas déçus. Merci à tous. Nous reviendrons sûrement.

Ein einzigartiges Feriendomizil

Magisch und sehr erholsam. Viel Platz, Einrichtung sehr liebevoll und mediterran. Wenn man für sich sein wollte, konnte man sich sehr schön zurückziehen. Jede Tageszeit ein besonderer Moment. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere kleine Enkelin, 9 Monate, unsere Kinder mit Partner und unser 12 Jähriger Sohn. Ein Hochstuhl wurde mit Liebe ausgesucht und gekauft. Ein rundum wunderschöner Urlaub. Wir waren 3 Wochen im Haus und wären auch gerne länger geblieben. Johanna hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert und auch jede Woche alles frisch gemacht. Man konnte sie immer erreichen wenn man sie brauchte. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit 😊
