You are renting an upstairs studio suite that has your own private entrance and bathroom, attached to a large house with sweeping views of Fish Creek/Saratoga Lake/wildlife reserve. This suite has a staircase you must walk up in order to access the balcony sliding door entrance, locked off from the main house, in a suite designed especially for vacation renters. Bed and Breakfast style. The owners live in the adjacent main home quarters. We provide coffee, tea, a microwave.

Our house is fully solar! Sky lights and in room AC.

This creekside location has two newly updated docks, umbrellas for shade, a great fire pit (BYO wood), and boasts amazing views of the 50 acre wetland, migratory birds (Bald Eagles, osprey, GBH, kingfisher), leaf peeping, great boating and large and small mouth bass fishing. Great for a 2 - 4 day (or more) getaway, only 6 mi. from the horse track, downtown Saratoga Springs, and 12 mi. from West Mountain snowboarding, skiing and downhill Mt. Biking. ADK Park is 2 exits north, and Lake George is 3 exits north. Kayak/canoe to Harvest and Hearth Pizza and Beer on Saratoga Lake. The PK State forest Mt. Bike park is 2.0 miles from the house! Super fun flowy Mt. Biking trails for all ability levels.

Very quiet and peaceful location overlooking the river. Situated a few miles from the heart of downtown Saratoga made for quick and easy access to restaurants and shops. Host was very responsive and helpful with ideas for things to do. Would definitely stay here again.

We came to Saratoga to go to the race track for a couple of day. The place was perfect for us. Andrew was very helpful & replied to all are questions. Very close to the race track but away from the city. The place was very clean & enjoyed the view from the upstairs balcony.

We wanted a place that was quiet and not too far from family. I was happy to be able to have a base that met our needs and expectations. Andrew and company were helpful and onsite should we need anything. I think that you have a hidden gem here for sure. Thanks again for your willingness to add an additional day. It was nice and easy.

Amazing Saratoga weekend

I loved staying here! Very clean, very cozy, and so fun! We went kayaking (a lot), went out in town, and enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck! AJ was so nice and welcoming. Would love to come back again!

Great getaway

Great communication, comfy bed, beautiful view- what more do you need?! We really loved having breakfast on the deck overlooking the river and hearing the frogs at night. It’s close enough to bop back and forth from downtown Saratoga but far enough away to be away from hustle & bustle. This is a great getaway and we hope to be back again.

Relaxing and peaceful

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, close to downtown Saratoga Springs, close to the SPAC and far enough away to get away from people and just relax and enjoy nature. Thanks for a great stay AJ, thanks for all you did to make us feel welcome and enjoy the place, including the kayaks! Will return for future SPAC event

Enjoyed our stay at Fish Creek our host was very accommodating are stay in the area was filled with two very active days of hiking kayaking in the backyard and nightlife in Saratoga will definitely come back the accommodations were just as advertised very clean very comfortable the bed was very comfortable we slept like babies

Our new go to in Saratoga!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! Easy to book, great communication from our host and very simple to access. The studio was very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated! Bed was super comfortable and we slept great every night. Equipped with a kitchenette, refrigerator and microwave we were able to prepare some snacks and keep our beverages cold! There were even cold beers in the fridge when we arrived! The best part about this property is its location! Fish Creek is in the back yard! It is so peaceful and beautiful to just sit and look at from the deck. The perfect retreat from a busy day in Saratoga…and only 10 minutes away! Kayaks were also provided and we went for a paddle every day. What an added bonus that was! Forget a hotel room! This will be our place to stay whenever we are in the area!

Amazing Creeksde Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at AJs place. He is the perfect host, so easy going and gracious with all the extras provided - fruit, snacks and wine - what more could you ask for! We enjoyed relaxing on the dock and kayaked every day and saw lots of wildlife- so peaceful. We would definitely want to stay here again the next time we are in the area! Mary Jo & Ron

Amazing hospitality and location

My wife and I stayed over the weekend and absolutely loved this place. AJ was an incredible host and let us use his canoe and also took me fishing. The creek is packed with fish and thanks with AJ’s help I landed a close to 3 lb large mouth bass. It was a short Lyft ride to the track and peaceful at night. We will be back and I would recommend it to friends.

Tucked away unique place

AJ has a cool spot just minutes from the raceway. It was clean and cozy and very quiet. The balcony was a nice place to chill out after going to the races all day. AJ was easy to communicate with and left us lots of goodies. The only thing we worried about was safety, because it seemed like there was only one exit. We would stay again!

Chilled & Relaxing

Location is fantastic directly on the creek with wildlife to see and canoes available to help chill. AJ is relaxed and very knowledgeable and each recommendation hit the mark. Accommodation is very comfortable and we had a great time relaxing day and evening. Thanks to AJ for his hospitality especially the little touches of providing tea, coffee, milk, bread, jam and butter for breakfast next day after a long flight from the UK; no need to rush out so relaxation started immediately. Would recommend the area and accommodation.

Nice place, but fix the door

1st time renting a Vrbo. I wanted to not pay a fortune just to sleep, because my Daughter & I were on-the-move. My Daughter's used to large Hotels/ Motels in her travels. It took a little to convince her to try this alternative. On arrival, it was a major setback, on finding the Sliding Glass Door is broken, with no ability to lock it (except Andy did have a small steel cable lock, to go thru the hold that was drilled into the door handle; but, the cable is only attached to an electrical up-line). Andy did rightly state that it is a safe area; however, one cannot expect outsiders to so readily accept such, when you rent out your place. A really good answer will be to install a French Door vs a Slider, much easier to put a Keypad Lock on such, & will still allow the sunlight in & view to the outside.

The room was accurately described as was the location. It was very easy to get around Saratoga from this property and away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown and racetrack locations. It is a quiet and bucolic setting with the creek and the room overlooks a large meadow. It is perfect getaway for a couple or single.

Best Saratoga Springs Experience!

I've spent days searching on Airbnb in the Lake George/Saratoga Springs for the "perfect" place I had in mind for my anniversary with my significant other, but nothing clicked with me. I searched the same area on Vrbo and am grateful to have found this gem. It was everything and more than what I had envisioned: close to nature, an outdoor porch, and a cozy place; having a view of the water was a major plus. Coming in with an electric vehicle, the EV charger was a nice amenity. The space was super clean upon entry. The decor was very ocean/marine themed which I captured my eye as an ocean lover. I appreciated the granola bars which we took on our hike, the instant oatmeal packs in the microwave which we had for breakfast, and the welcome beers in the fridge which we saved for our bonfire. The mini-kitchen has everything you need for a weekend stay (and a much needed wine opener in the drawer in case you forget like we did!)…in fact, this entire place has everything you need for a weekend stay. We were lucky enough to have nice weather to be able to use both the kayaks and the stand up paddleboard on the creek over the weekend. Lifejackets are available. It made for a super fun experience, even in the month of November.

AJ is the best host you could ask for. He’s super friendly, answered all of our questions, and gave amazing food recommendations in the area (Wasabi and Druther’s were amazing suggestions). He helped us out with the kayaks, and he also knows how to set up a great fire pit (I swear he can breathe fire). Can’t thank him enough for providing a memorable experience for us - thank you again, AJ!

Excellent Stay!

We had a great time at AJ's! The location was perfect: secluded enough to enjoy the scenic river yet conveniently located to get places in Saratoga Springs. AJ was very friendly, accommodating and easy to reach, and the place was well-prepared for our arrival. The complementary snacks and beer were also appreciated. We had a blast kayaking and boating around, and the backyard/porch space was a great place to relax and take in the fall foliage and night skies. Highly recommended if you are looking for a getaway in Saratoga.

Beautiful, Convenient Location and Great Host!

I chose this rental for a short early fall stay to see Saratoga Springs, relax, and do some hiking. I was not disappointed. AJ was a fantastic and gracious host, offering suggestions for nearby parks and walks. The creek side location offers beautiful views that change throughout the day, and reading in the lounge chair and hearing the rain on the skylight was very peaceful. The restaurants and shopping of Saratoga Springs is a direct, short drive away. Supermarkets, gas stations, breweries, and other amenities are nearby, too. This is a great spot to relax by the water and enjoy all Saratoga has to offer.

Great weekend getaway!

This was the perfect spot to runaway & decompress! From the comfy bed & great balcony view overlooking the creek to the must have waterside fire, the trip was relaxing. It’s even better if you enjoy being on the water as you have access to the kayaks & boats! It’s a great balance between nature & downtown! What makes this place even better is AJ! From the time we booked until we got home, AJ was a perfect host! Communicating with him was easy & we can’t wait to go back!
