The property was clean and safe. However, it was not as advertised. There was no gym. The outside area was restricted to tenants downstairs. The living/eating area was a blank space with no seating or table to eat on. There was no thermostat or remote for the alleged “air conditioning”. There was no TV. For what we paid it was a bad experience. This is the first and probably last time I will use VRBO.

The description and photos are accurate and precise. The apartment was pretty basic, but it was clean, and the beds were comfortable with lots of blankets and soft pillows. Bedrooms were quiet and dark for sleeping, with natural daylight during the day. The main room has a table and two plastic chairs and monitor for a PC setup but no television. The location is just two blocks from cafes (including the vault that served breakfast all day) and coffee shops. To improve the experience, we have a few suggestions for consideration:1. There could be a better coffee maker. There was a can of Folger and filters but no real coffee maker. The cute little espresso machine (with instructions) requires espresso ground coffee. A toaster oven would also be a nice addition. 2. The room with the queen bed would benefit from a side table and lamp (the room with twin beds has that).3. A comfy chair or sofa in the common room would also be nice. The unit met our needs for a place to stay in this area, close to family. Within a few blocks there are coffee shops, a cafe that stays open late and a diner (the Vault) serving breakfast all day. Pros: clean, comfortable beds, bedrooms are great for sleeping - both quiet and dark. During the day the rooms have nice natural sunlight. Cons: No real coffee maker, toaster/oven, tv, or comfortable seating other than the beds.

I’m glad to hear the apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, and that the quiet, dark bedrooms made for a good night’s rest. It’s also great to know the natural daylight and the convenient location near cafés and coffee shops added to your stay. I truly appreciate your suggestions—they’re very helpful. I’m already reviewing options for a more traditional coffee maker and a toaster oven to make mornings easier. I also agree that a side table and lamp in the queen bedroom, as well as more comfortable seating in the common area, would improve the space, and I’ll be working on those updates as well.
