Located on the beautiful South Coast of Jamaica sits our premium four bedroom villa with its own private beach. Spacious bedrooms each fitted with queen beds and a king in the master suite open up to relaxing ocean and garden views from your own private balcony. Wrap around terraces on the ground and upper floor , fully equipped kitchen, internet and Wi-Fi , outdoor beach bar and grill , pool and whirlpool , pergola and beach cabana to do as little or as much as you want. Bask in the golden glow of the Caribbean sunshine and allow our villa staff to pamper you. Housekeeping ( available upon request ). Housekeeper is scheduled to come in every other day at no additional cost .
Your own resident chef , at no additional cost , will ensure your stay will be unforgettable. Sweet Escape the villa promises a getaway where you can experience a side of the island that's unhurried , it offers a diverse landscape of waterfalls , rivers, mountains , caves , a birdwatchers paradise and of course the beautiful Caribbean Sea . Guests have access to all areas except staff accommodations . Upon arrival you can enjoy a complimentary meal prepared by our affable and talented chef . Smoking is not allowed inside the villa .You may smoke outdoors .
There are cozy corners to just relax and unwind ,sip a cold beer or enjoy high tea, cable tv and Netflix to watch your favorite shows, board games for the young and young at heart , sun loungers to soak up some sun or just simply watch the children build sand castles and play, beach volley ball is also available . Sweet Escape the villa is your perfect vacation getaway. We await you with open arms !!

Amazing Jamaican experience!

The stay was fabulous, and relaxing. Mark took us to market and assisted us with a menu that wowed us all week! Mark's culinary skills are nothing short of amazing! Every dish was authentic jamaican cuisine. I am grateful for the inclusion of the chef services. He was also extremely hospitable. He took is around, arranged and ensured every adventure that we desired. Thank you Carla for the wonderful communication. The only thing that we were slightly disappointed about was there was not an update to the site to inform that the cabana for the beach was lost in the hurricane last year and not replaced. We still had a fabulous time out at the beach and lounging taking in the Jamaican vibes at the provate pool! I highly recommend!

The property was amazing. The location to the beach, private pool, and picturesque views were the best. Mark is exquisite chef. He was friendly and helpful our entire trip. We traveled with 9 people ranging from ages 1-48. Mark made us all feel right at home. We will definitely be staying here again and recommending to everyone we know.

BEST FAMILY VACATION TO DATE!

Stop looking! You found your perfect Jamaican stay right here. Carla was great, very communicative, and never hesitated to help however she could. But the true gem here… Mark. He hands down made our vacation. You will not find a better cooked meal on the island. He was so kind and generous and helpful. Seriously invaluable. Wonderful layout for a group of nine with a mix of two families including littles and grandparents. We would book here again without hesitation. Also, you won’t see a better view of the sunset. It’s as if the sun sets only for Sweet Villa. BOOK NOW!!!

Lovely spot for a family vacation

We really enjoyed our week at Sweet Escape. The house was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, and we loved the outdoor areas (pool, pergola, beach bed, and beach). Mark was absolutely fantastic! He made us delicious dinners and hearty breakfasts to start our day. We took care of the shopping, but he guided us at the grocery store and made recommendations. There were plenty of fun activities to do within a reasonable driving distance of the house (Black River Safari (5 min), Appleton Rum Estate (45 min), YS Falls (30 min), Pelican Bar (25 min boat ride from the house)). If you want a relaxing place away from the touristy resort areas, this is it!

Family vacation

The property was great for a family of 11. All enjoyed the pool area and the view of the sunset was amazing. Mark was amazing. He repeated delicious Jamaican meals and was very accommodating. He provided rides into town and arranged transportation to Negril for a day excursion.

Despite the intense storm that damaged a lot in the area, Sweet Escape was exactly that, a sweet escape. Mark, the chef, was great, the communication with Carla was great. We're coming back next year, please don't let anyone take my dates! Big up!

Great Holiday Visit

We came as a family of 9 total people, including two children ages 5 and 8. We could not have asked for a better location for our family Christmas trip. From communicating with Carla pretrip to our exit from the property, everything was perfect for our family. The house is even better than the pictures show, it is large, well cleaned, bedrooms are large and the air conditioning works well throughout the house no matter how hot it may be outside. The outside area is where we spent the majority of our vacation choosing between hanging around the pool in the provided chairs, sitting under the pergola when a sun break was needed or just playing in the pool. We also spent a couple of days in the ocean playing out front of the house. Can't say enough good things about Mark, the house chef and do it all helper. Just let him know ideas of what you are after and let him do the rest. By the end of the trip we had people watching him cook to try and figure out how he made even simple dishes taste great. Everyone looked forward to what he would be making for dinner and it was often another highlight of the day. When we wanted to get away to do things Mark would arrange a boat to pick us up if it was on the water or get a taxi to pick us up if by land. Definitely go to the Pelican Bar during your stay, definitely an original place to go and worth the cost. All in all we can't say good enough things for everything this property has to offer. Thank you for hosting us!

PREFECT SAFE SPACE FOR A VACATION

This place is an amazing hidden gem for the perfect getaway. Hidden in the private beach area of Black River, Jamaica approximately 1.5.hrs drive from the Montego Bay airport. This house is spacious, clean, renovated and updated. The pictures does not give this beautiful palace the justice it deserves. Special thank you to Chef Mark who took extremely good care of us during our stay. You have questions, Chef Mark has the answers. He took us to the market, supermarket which is less than 7 minutes from the house. He introduce us to the perfect Jamaican sit down restaurant Nola’s Lounge, real authentic Jamaican cuisines. The host Miss Carla was perfect. She address all of my concerns. As per my request, she was able to have Jamaican rum cakes delivered upon my arrival for a birth celebration. The pool, the hot tub, the beach and the beautiful sunset. Get your camera’s ready. Chef arranged for the boat to picked us up right on the beach at the back of the house to take us to the Pelican Bar restaurant that’s located in the middle of the ocean. This only cost $25US but it’s worth it. YS falls and other excursions are only minutes away from the house. Forget about all inclusive resort, this 4 bedroom spacious villa is all you need for your next family bonding, rejuvenation and relaxing vacation. The chef and the cleaning staff Miss Collette is included in the price and they’re amazing. I will definitely be back, it’s worth every penny, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Miss Carla.

Highly recommend!!!

This property is absolutely beautiful!! We had a great time! We loved the house! Mark, the chef made this experience all the better!!! The food was absolutely delicious!! He was such an interesting person. We loved talking with him! He arranged a Boat to pick us up from the house and take us to the pelican bar. Carla was very responsive and checked on us the day we were flying in. We highly recommend this house if you are visiting this area of Jamaica!!

Amazing!!

Had a great family vacation, House was clean and well kept. The private beach was wonderful, so relaxing. Mark our chef was amazing, his cooking was excellent. Enjoyed going to town to grocery shop with him, made us feel safe. Very honest, let us know when we were paying to much for something. Mark even cooked things on the side for our 8 month old granddaughter to eat. We will definitely be back, truly relaxing, a great place for a family to spend time together.

Beautiful Property

This property is awesome. Our group of 7 had a blast. Loved shopping in town, site seeing and most of all relaxing by the resort like pool area in the back of house. Mark is great, and easy going not to mention an awesome cook. Carla was great and easy to work with, answered all our questions. You can't go wrong with this property.

Retirement celebration

I took my entire family (children and grandchildren) to Sweet Escape and could not have been happier with the villa and chef Mark. The property was very clean and accommodated all 10 of us easily. The pool area was fantastic and the grounds were very well cared for. Chef Mark was wonderful and made planning our meals so easy. The best part was his cooking and attention to our needs. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone interested in a very nice and relaxing vacation. Also, Collette was super nice and kept our linens and rooms very clean. We ate at the villa every meal except the last night because Mark's cooking was so good. However, the Las Vegas Restaurant just up the beach was very good as well and we treated Mark to dinner on us.

Our stay was excellent. The house was beautiful, exceptionally clean and very well suited for our family vacation. The chef was amazing. Birthday Family Trip

We have stayed in many vacation rentals, this by far was a game changer. The worst thing I can say about it is the pictures don't do it justice! The day we arrived it was storming so it took a bit longer to arrive to the villa. No matter Mark was up and there to greet us. The Host was super responsive and was able to guide the driver as we got closer. We had a group of 6 which included my 2 year old. My Birthday dinner was beautiful Mark set it up so nice. We enjoyed every bite! He also made sure he made a bit on the side for my son (nights we requested spicy) just in case the spice level was a bit high, as well as his favorite breakfast daily 😀 which is pancakes. They had any and everything we needed, from a pump to blow up floaters to a highchair at dinner. For vacation rentals Mark changes the experience, his food was more than delicious (we chose authentic Jamaican food), he accommodated all our Excursions needs, was able to have a massage therapist come on site, COVID Tests, and a water taxi when needed. Our stay was a week long. If you are ok with not being in crowds and not the touristy area this is the place for you. There are so many things to do on this side of the island 🏝 that no one ever tells you about. Stay here it will be worth it!!! 🛩💖

Sweet Escape with Family

This was our third time visiting Jamaica but our first time in Black River and we had the pleasure of staying at Sweet Escape. The home is exactly as pictured with enough room for our family of seven to spread out. Mark was there to greet us and made some delicious Jamaican meals which we planned together in advance. He helped arranged our transportation to various excursions and was reliable ensuring we had what we need. I can’t thank him enough for the care and attention. Collette was also very kind and a big help with housekeeping. The kids enjoyed the pool and were able to safely explore the beach. It was a comfy and relaxing family vacation and I’m glad we got to create some beautiful memories at this pleasant villa!

Super holiday in a super villa

Our family stayed at this villa for 14 days. This vacation was unforgettable. The villa is large and very comfortable. The villa has everything you need for a great holiday, bright and comfortable. Cleaning was done every other day, thanks for that. It was also very comfortable to relax and swim in the pool in the yard. The sea is very warm and a stone's throw from the house. We were always in touch with the owner. Thank you Carla for organizing a wonderful stay at the villa. Special thanks to the chef Mark. During our holiday, Mark was part of our family. Family Vacation

My family had a fun week in Jamaica and enjoyed the property and pool. We loved the meals that Chef Mark prepared and he was great at adjusting his dishes for our food sensitivities. The owner Ms Dixon was very patient with my many emails and pre-planning information needs. It was incredibly helpful and a huge plus that Ms Dixon made all the transportation arrangements in advance. We enjoyed the house and the immersion into the local culture rather than staying in more crowded tourist area given covid - we really wanted a place that we could relax and get away from the world. Even had a bonfire on the beach! We recommend this property for families or groups of friends who want to get away from the crowds, but still close enough to plan Black River, Treasure Beach and Negril excursions to sightsee.
