Welcome to 201! The condo is yours during your stay. The common areas such as the pool and deck you will share with others, those never seem to be crowded and most of the guest and residents tend to use the beach. In any case, feel free to make yourself very comfortable. Steve is the Caretaker for the property, and he is there 6 out of 7 days a week; super approachable and helpful and can guide you to most things to do with the building and surrounding areas. He puts away the lounge chairs etc. on the shared deck every evening. The board walk takes you to several convenience stores, markets, and restaurants of all calibers; you do not even need to have a car and the public transport buses run just outside the building. We can share with you our trusted taxi drivers, but you are really free to ask, search, and discover on your own. As said before, we are here to answer ALL of your questions and promise to do so to the best of our ability and knowledge..... HAVE FUN PLANNING!!!!

South Ocean villas is a little gem of a place that we return to again and again. The hosts are receptive and responsive, including procuring some start up kitchen staples for us! We wake every morning to the sights and sounds of the sea. The property is beautifully maintained. The Richard Haynes Boardwalk is at your fingertips as are many good restaurants. You can walk to Clifton Market or a Massy Store. This is our happy place. See you next December!

Time away to reset

The stay was greay, the host was amazing and i would definitely come back! Barbados is beautiful and the condo is in the middle of everything. I spent my time here doing absolutely nothing and i loved it! There was a break in the main water line that had everyone in the surrounding area without water for about half a day but they Barbados water company worked swiftly to get it back on. I definitely will be back.

Absolutely Amazing!

This property was exceptional! It exceeded all expectations. The views were stunning! We couldnā€™t have asked for a better location. Very walkable to many restaurants and beaches. What truly set this property apart was the unbelievable host- Gotzone! From initial booking she was so responsive, kind and sweet! She went above and beyond during our stay to ensure that we truly experienced Barbados! She provided extremely helpful recommendations for local activities, transportation, and dining- all of which were fantastic! Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Great host and perfect unit

The host made the trip. They were helpful, responsive, went above and beyond to give advice. The place was perfect for us. On the water, great beach next door that was calmer than most given the high currents the islamd was experiencing, secure, with great people in the complex. Area was good but with the construction not perfect. At the end of 2 strips so has options but as a first timer without the great host would have been real tough to navigate. Again sonetimes the host nakes all the difference and in this case we could notbhave done better. Unit has everything you need from a staying perspective and then some...spices and cooking utensils galore. Only issue was shoppingbwas limited and casual dining hard to navigate ss sidewalks awful.

Amazing!!!!!

I should start with our wonderful hosts - Gotzone and Eneko. I could go on and on - from sending us a ton of info (including videos of where to park, etc) prior to our arrival - to dropping off diving buoys for us to borrow - to making New Years Eve reservations for us - they were perfect, and truly made our vacation great. The place is amazing as well - everything we needed and could have wanted - great view, close beach that was perfect, boardwalk, parking - just perfect. Snorkeling was OK from the villa as well - and it was a short drive/walk to great snorkeling beaches. Also, being a stroll away from 8-12 great bars/restaurants was a great feature as well! We could not be happier with the place, or our wonderful hosts - they really made our family trip special.

AMAZING!!!

The Villa was perfect for our group. It was very clean and so cute! Having the washing machine and dryer was a plus. We had our year old granddaughter with us and Eneko provided us with a high chair and ā€œpack-n-playā€ and a bag filled with beach toys, stuffed animals and other baby itemsšŸ˜ƒ Kitchen was furnished with everything you need . . . and the view from the balcony . . . WOW!!!ā¤ļø The Boardwalk in front of the Villa provided access to a beach area (a little wading area) and then great little restaurants along the way. It was truly perfect for us.

Beautiful and relaxing stay at Barbados

Our stay was even better than I expected. Barbados is stunning, and this property was even better than advertised. The location made it very easy to get around as you have direct access to the Boardwalk and itā€™s easy to catch taxi or ZR bus. The tours we did all picked up and dropped off right at the Villas. In terms of the property it was clean, comfortable, and the view and sounds of the ocean from the balcony was amazing. Eneko was awesome and helped us out throughout the trip. They even got us some groceries before we showed up. I canā€™t say enough good things about this property and I will definitely look to stay here again.

Family friendly spot in the perfect location

Even before we arrived, Eneko and Gotzone were incredibly responsive and answered our (many) questions about the location and unit. They provided us with blankets, sand toys, books, stuffed animals for our young children which was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. The in-suite washer and dryer came in incredibly handy, and the unit is fully stocked from condiments, glassware, to beach chairs. Our check-in process was unusually difficult as VRBO provided us an inaccurate entry code, which was dealt with in a timely manner by Gotzone. Our only drawback aside from check-in was the handful of steps from the pool deck to boardwalk with a double stroller. All said, we would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous stay!!

We stayed a week at this property. It is exactly as advertised and actually exceeded our expectations. Our hosts Eneko and Gotzone were incredibly helpful and responsive - even helping us secure a return visit . The location is exceptional - right on the boardwalk and close to 2 small, quiet beaches with water calm enough for little kids to play safely. There are many great restaurants to visit with groceries within walking distance. Canā€™t say enough about this place! This was our first stay with VRBO and it will be hard to top. Looking forward to being back!

The view to die for!

Everything, everything about this condo was fantastic. Gotzone and Eneko were wonderful to work with and so very, very accomodating. The location was perfect for us as we walked the boardwalk for dinner at night, and used our car for trips around the island and to beaches. Our visit to Barbados was made more enjoyable because of this condo and Gotzone and Eneko. We could not have asked for anything more. Thank you, thank you!

Great place to stay

My son and I stayed here for 7 days, it is an amazing condo with a great view of the ocean. The location is perfect with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The villa cupboards are well-stocked, We never got to meet Gotzone or Eneko but our schedule prevented that but Gotzone was very responsive to all out requests in a timely manner. I wpold definitely stay at here again. Thank you Gotzone and Eneko.

This is such a beautiful gem of a place to stay in Barbados. The hosts are MORE than accommodating in every way. Very quick to respond about any and all requests or recommendations. This is a great villa in a great location! We stayed as a family of 4 for almost 2 weeks over the holidays. The location is great and is seconds from the beach and is right along the Boardwalk and walking to distance to many great restaurants, shops and close to Lantern's Mall. The villa itself is roomy, spacious and clean. It has great wifi and a well stocked kitchen with everything you need for a home away from home. However the best part of this unit is the truly magnificent view when you open the doors to the ocean. We enjoyed just sitting there and listening the waves crash on the shore and watching the sunrise and sunset. We cannot say enough about the hosts, from our pre-planning phase to when we were on vacation they were truly helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing experience. Thank-you very much Gotzone and Eneko for making this a great trip!

Perfect home away from home

We just stayed at the condo for a week with our 1 year old. The location was perfect for us with a calm inlet and quiet beach right outside. The condo is very comfortable and cozy and the view is amazing! We will miss it! I would recommend this condo if you are a couple without kids or if you have kids. It is roomy enough for children but also cozy enough for a romantic getaway. The boardwalk right outside is nice as well for morning strolls. Many great restaurants nearby and a pretty central location on the island.

Fabulous experience.

This little piece of paradise exceeded our expectations. After doing extensive research, this villa checked off everything on our list and was even better than expected. If you want a nice clean villa, ocean front with beach access, within walking distance to many ocean side restaurants AND reasonably priced then this is the right place to be. Bring your snorkelling gear too because you will see several species of fish just a few steps from the villa. We even saw a sea turtle. Thank you Gotzone and Eneko for making our stay memorable. You were fantastic hosts and we truly enjoyed every moment.

This property is outstanding. What you see in the pictures is exactly what the property is like, beautiful ocean front condo with lots of room and well maintained. The pantry and linen cupboards are well stocked, just need to bring your swim suit and toothbrush! The hosts are very responsive and helpful, they take great care of their guests to ensure you enjoy your stay. The location is perfect with shopping and restaurants within walking distance, no neec to rent a car. I highly recommend South Ocean Villa.

Tranquil Paradise

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The view canā€™t be beat and the condo is very well equipped. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance and the mini bus can get you to a grocery store very easily. The boardwalk starts at the property and will take you to Rockley Beach which has loungers for rent and bar and food options. Weā€™ve been to Barbados many times and loved this condo for the convenience, ambiance and amenities. We hope to be back!!!

Outstanding!!

A spacious apartment with all amenities, on the beach and right on the boardwalk. After many years of coming to Barbados, we would be hard pressed to think of a better location. Gotzone and Eneko we excellent hosts and ensured our stay went smoothly, they went above and beyond what we would have expected. The apartment is modern, bright, light and breezy with amazing views. We cannot speak highly enough of its benefits.

I think Iā€™m Bajan now - I didnā€™t want to leave.

We had an amazing time in Barbados and I can 100% attribute that to our host Gotzone. We were visiting Barbados for fertility treatment at the local fertility center which is just a five minute walk from the Villa, so very convenient if youā€™re a client there. Gotzone stayed in contact throughout the whole stay and made us feel at home. We stayed for two days right down the street at the Coconut Court, Hotel to wait out our quarantine. Gotzone was at the Villa doing some final preparation before we checked-in and offered to come pick us up from the hotel and drive us to the Villa. Who does that? It was so nice of her and saved us from lugging our bags through the streets and paying for a cab. The villa was so beautiful! We couldnā€™t ask for a better view of the ocean. Because the villa is at the end of the boardwalk it was very quiet and we felt as if we had multiple beaches to ourselves. The building was very secure with coded access. The villa was stocked with anything you needed. We had multiple times where we thought to ourselves oh man I wish we had X, and wouldnā€™t you know we found every little thing in the Villa that we needed. I got a sunburn and forgot aloe. There was aloe in the refrigerator. We bought cigars but forgot cutters and matches. We found both in the drawers. We were able to cook most of our meals to save some money since we were staying for quite some time. The kitchen was stocked with cookware and spices. We got a little lazy with cooking and ended up with quite a few grocery items left when we left. Gotzone donated the food to local families who were impacted by COVID-19 and I thought that was brilliant and heartwarming. We have some travel issues along the way because my sister and mother had an extended quarantine and our flights were canceled a few times during our stay which caused me a little stress but Gotzone and Eneko were so easy going with moving dates for us. They just wanted us to relax and make the most of the very short precious time away from the stresses of the world. We will be back!

Heaven on Earth

All of the other assessments of this property and location are spot on. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. With one of the most attentive and caring hosts I have ever encountered. I was there with family and friends and everyone had an amazing time. I use an electric wheelchair and found the place great for my personal needs - message me privately for details. I really cannot say enough about this place. I can't wait to come back.

We booked up at short notice for this holiday having read the previous reviews. Eneko contacted us the following day and that opened the dialogue with him and Gotzone. We have nothing new to add to the previous reviews as all are accurate. Believe them and book. Gotzone was in touch throughout and we had the pleasure of meeting her midweek. Nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. I cannot sign off without a mention of Duane. If you need transport, if you need an exceptional tour guide, Duaneā€™s your man, Eneko, Gotzone, thank you for allowing us to use your exceptional property for our holiday. This condo is gorgeous, super comfortable and very centrally located in the South of the Island... close to just about everything and only 15-20 min from the airport and 5 from the capital of Bridgetown.... public transport passes right in front of the building and you also have free car park in the property. Great restaurants and bars are within walking distance and there is the biggest attraction of the calm beaches right in front of the balcony !!!!!! snorkeling paradise and natural sea pools make this a place you dream of....
