At this great vacation apartment you feel right at home. Playa Lechi Residence 2 is located on the ground floor and is nicely furnished in a tropical style with a large living room, ocean view, and a wide porch with comfortable seating for relaxing or entertaining.

The ground floor unit has two air conditioned bedrooms each outfitted with a Queen-sized bed and two bathrooms. There is no AC in the living room.
The open kitchen has ceramic plates, a large American refrigerator, dishwasher, and other kitchen appliances. This sea view apartment is located near the town center, yet offers privacy and quiet surroundings. There is a beautiful swimming pool, with beach chairs and a cabana, right on the Boulevard. For divers, there is a rinse tank for your gear on the premises.

We stayed for 6 weeks. A lovely ocean view is visible from the patio and the unit description is accurate. The breeze blows through the unit nicely and a box fan was available to use in the evenings when we closed up the large infinity style doors. The fan nicely kept the seating area comfortable without AC. We found the overall space comfortable for 3 people. The rinse tank provided for dive gear worked well. Communication was clear and the Mgr responded in a timely manner. We had a lovely time.

Great location for divers and non-divers alike! Short walk to restaurants and bars, incredible ocean view, easy parking, what more do you need? Property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay

Had a couple hiccups with the washing machine but they were responsive and willing to help get it fixed. Definitely need mosquito net at night, lots of mosquitos. Great location, felt safe and had great board games for us to play.

Quiet Dive Trip

The ability to step outside the gate and go diving a few meters away is exactly what I was looking for. A few minutes walk to Between Two Buns and about 12 minutes into town.

Property was very clean, nice kitchen with lots of appliances, toaster, kettle, coffee pot. Very modern refridgerator with ice maker. So convenient!! Great TV in living room with good programs, good wifi. Pool was wonderful, with chaise lounge chairs. Gorgeous view. Beds very comfortable, bathrooms very nice. Clothes washer was very good and a drying rack was supplied.Check in was far from property. Other properties use lock boxes, and thats much more easy. Description was not clear that there is no A/C in kitchen or living room, and theres no wifi in bedroom, where there IS A/C. Description just says ac, and bedrooms have ac. Price is very good for a two bedroom!

Christmas in bonaire

Nice property. A few small issues re lights and fans and one big oneā€¦ac failed first day. Prop mgr fixed it next day so kudos to him for being on the job and attentive. Would return to Bonaire w Rob as prop mgr but will explore other options for a villa vs a condo for privacy and noise reasons.

The property was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The water views were absolutely stunning, and each eveningā€™s sunset felt like a private show just for us. The pool area was beautifully maintained and incredibly invitingā€”but honestly, with the ocean just steps away and easy access to amazing snorkeling, it was hard to leave the shoreline. The location truly offers the best of both relaxation and adventure.The property manager was also a standoutā€”responsive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the island. They made everything seamless and were always happy to answer questions or offer recommendations, which really enhanced our stay.Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I wouldnā€™t hesitate to book this property again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and effortless getaway.

Nice ocean front condo with issues

The condo itself is very well equipped with kitchen essentials, bedding, towels, etc. You could purchase freshly caught fish for a very reasonable price just down at a pier. There is a dive shop within a 2 block walk which we all used. And the security is good with a lockable parking area. But there are several issues that resulted in my Good overall assessment. First, the pool was dirty - found and removed a decomposed lizard from the bottom. Never saw any activity for cleaning/servicing the pool during our 7 day stay and no residents seemed to use it. Second, there was a severe mosquito problem specifically at this location. All 4 of us had bites and were continuously killing the mosquitos. And this wasnā€™t an issue anyplace else we went. There must be standing water somewhere nearby where they are breeding. Finally, the kitchen cupboards and drawers had a musty/moldy odor. I realize that the owner(s) may not be aware of these issues and hopefully they can be addressed as the location is excellent and the condo itself was very comfortable.

AMAZING retreat

COVID changed our Europe plans, and so we booked the flight to Bonaire and the lodging 2.5 weeks out. We had no idea what to expect. We LOVED it. First, the view is that good. We loved sitting on the porch, just watching the world go by. You're also right across from the beach pier - step right on down to a snorkeling paradise. We bought the snorkels down there rather than rented. You're within walking distance to the downtown strip - try the Diner for a in$ happy hour, Tiki bar for beverages, B is for Bagel, Rains Fishes and the Cantina for fab food. The flat is very European - Nespresso machine, hot water kettle, etc - and has what you need to cook with. The cross breezes keep the flat cool; the bedroom has AC, so around 5pm, we'd shut the windows to cool the room. The airport, Dutch grocery and other snorkel spots are a quick drive. The complex itself is super tranquil - mostly older guests who were very quiet (there's quiet hours too). It was the perfect place to chill out - I did not want to leave. Lastly, pretty turnkey- the only thing you'll need to pack/buy is shampoo, shower soap, and laundry detergent if needed. :) Book now.

Convenient, safe and comfortable

My husband and I along with our 24 year old daughter enjoyed a week in this unit in March 2019. It was a spacious unit and has a most comfortable outdoor sitting area where we chose to enjoy all of our time when we were at the unit (and not diving). The location is perfect for traveling the North end or the South end, and it was very convenient for us to swap tanks with our chosen AB Car Rental and Dive service. This was our second time on the island, and it was perfection for location for all services and the ability to visit the town area. I brought two suitcases of fresh, frozen and pantry food items because we prefer to prepare most of our meals, and the food choices are either expensive or few. There was most everything needed in the kitchen minus American measuring cups/spoons. Google assisted in my measuring by using the one large metric cup. The beds are comfortable, but the pillows are MOUNTAINS and very uncomfortable. There isn't a dive locker made available for this unit, so hauling the gear around to the patio and having to bring it in each night is a bother and inconvenient, but this doesn't ruin the trip; just makes it inconvenient (based on a previous experience). I would still choose to rebook this same unit. The air conditioner in each room is efficient, and there is a ceiling fan in each room as well. A large floor fan is available for the kitchen area, and that was a nice addition. Wish I was still there and not at home writing this review! Caveat: Review arrival information prior to arriving on Bonaire. I failed to make contact the day before we left, and there wasn't an email or any notification that day we arrived. I had to turn on my phone service when collecting our luggage at the airport to send a message about garnering access. There was a taxi driver with our name on a placard, and he did give me keys to the apartment. I asked for an address, and he didn't have it; he said the car rental place would give me that information. When I asked, they didn't have a clue. There weren't any answers to my messages, so we sent off on a quest to find the complex. Fortunately there was a photo of the outside of the complex which gave me an indication for what to look. Once we got inside the gate, we had to figure out which unit it was. Fortunately we again were able to go by photos of the outside seating area to determine the unit. I think this was an exception to the norm, but it was frustrating & disappointing.

Beautiful cozy apartment that felt like home!

We stayed at this apartment for about two weeks and we loved it! Check in and check out were easy, the beds were very comfortable, the rooms were a great size with air conditioning, and the outdoor living area was just perfect. We had breakfast outside one morning while watching a pod of dolphins swimming in the ocean. There are a lot of mosquitoes in Bonaire so we picked up a citronella candle for the outdoor space in the evenings. Rob and Zwanet were great with answering our questions and greeting us when we arrived. Our one area for improvement would be that we did not get access to one of the dive lockers. That would have been more convenient than keeping our tanks and gear on the patio. The location was great as well, right on the waterfront within walking distance to downtown. We'd definitely stay here again!

Amazing Week in Bonaire and a Fantastic Location!

This location was perfect for us. We were close enough to town to walk to dinner, gelato and shopping! But it was also far enough to not feel overrun with cruise ship tourists. The condo was spacious and equipped with everything we might need. One quick stop at the grocery store and we were good to go. The one thing I would say is they need working mosquito zappers... we had to buy one. The outside lanai was huge and comfy. We spent mornings and evenings enjoying the warm weather and ocean. Both bedrooms were on suite and spacious. A/C in both rooms made it most comfortable at night to sleep. The condo complex was secure and people were friendly. The pool was nice and never crowded. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Bonaire.

Bonaire Dive Vacation

My wife and I stayed at the property for our dive vacation. It was a great place to stay at and we dove right from the back gate a couple of times which was fun. We were able to walk into town for evenings in town. Overall, a very nice apartment unit in a great location.
