2 BR Condo w/ SWIMMING POOL in Private, GATED COMPLEX in LAS CONCHAS--Sleeps 6

You will feel right at home in our nicely appointed ground floor condo in the quaint 17 unit complex of Corona del Mar! We are located in a private, gated complex just inside of the Las Conchas community. We are just 200 yards or so past the guard shack near the main entrance into the community. Our entire property, building and common grounds are gated and very safe and secure. Private parking spaces are immediately outside of our front gate. Very convenient community, just a 5 minute drive to the Malecon or "Fish Market" area with great restaurants and shopping and views of Sandy Beach and the beautiful Sea of Cortez!

Upon entering the complex, you will find mature trees and landscaping and 2 large, grassy common areas that make for a very peaceful and soothing environment. Our unit is ground level, so no stairs or elevator to deal with. The large patio is elevated slightly above the pool and grassy areas, and there are private steps off of the patio into these common areas. This makes it perfect if you have children that want to hang out at the pool while you just relax on the patio and keep an eye on them.

The unit features 2 private bedrooms and a queen-sized futon, for comfortable sleeping for 6 adults. The master features a king bed with a comfy down comforter, 50" flat screen TV, DVD player, large step-in shower and separate exit to the patio. The secondary bedroom features a cozy queen bed, large closet and TV/DVD combo. The 2nd bathroom is just off of the secondary bedroom and also has a large step-in shower.

The living room is also very comfortable and well equipped, with a large L-shaped couch, big coffee table and TV with DirecTV satellite + DVD player. Look through the 8 ft sliding glass door to the grassy common area and swimming pool and enjoy partial ocean views as well. There is a large dining table for meals, game playing or margarita sipping. A queen sized Futon couch/bed is off the dining area and is actually very comfortable with an upgraded mattress pad.

Very nice and well appointed kitchen with all of the amenities of home. Full sized refrigerator, microwave, electric range/oven, disposal, coffee maker, blender, and all the plates, cups and silverware you will need. KEURIG coffee maker is also available...bring down your "pods". There is a laundry room off of the kitchen with full sized washer/dryer should you need them.

Upon exiting the front gate, you are a mere 2 minute walk to the ocean across the street just one block away. At high tide, enjoy the beautiful soft sand beach that you will often have to yourself. When the tide goes out, investigate the awesome tidal pools and search for sea critters in the rocky areas that get exposed. This is a great beach for walking and shell hunting!

Get back from the beach and take the elevator or stairs to our 4th floor roof-top deck to enjoy the awesome views of the Sea of Cortez and estuary/dunes/mountains behind the unit. This is a great place to enjoy the INCREDIBLE sunsets over the ocean and Baja Peninsula!

Drive a couple miles to all of the main attraction areas "in town" very easily from Las Conchas. The "Malecon" Fish Market area is a great place to bar hop, have a shrimp cocktail or just people or sea life watch at one of the various oceanside restaurants. From the marina area near there, you can charter a fishing boat, join a sunset "booze cruise" or book a private trip to Bird Island to dive/snorkel with the sea lions or bird watch.

We have been going down to Puerto Penasco or "Rocky Point" for 20+ years now and can share with you all of our favorite restaurants, bars and activities to enjoy if you are new to the town.
