YOUR MOUNTAIN CHATEAU

Set in the heart of Massanutten Resort, the chateau puts you minutes from skiing, the indoor waterpark, golf, the spa and dining. Shenandoah National Park is 15 minutes away, and local wineries, breweries and downtown Harrisonburg are an easy drive. In winter, the trees open up to direct views of the ski slopes and surrounding mountains.

COMING JANUARY 2027: THE CHATEAU, ELEVATED

We're expanding the chateau to 9 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The work includes:

- A renovated game room with a wet bar and a second kitchen

- Refreshed living and dining spaces

- A covered outdoor dining area for 22, expected by May 2027

YOUR WELCOME PACK

Every stay includes a generous supply kit, so you're set from the moment you arrive.

- Outdoor: propane for the grill and the fire table

- Bathrooms: toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap

- Kitchen: paper towels, coffee (pods and drip), sugar, sweetener and creamer

- Laundry: detergent

- Cleaning: dishwasher detergent and all-purpose spray

- Trash bags



If you need anything extra, a 24/7 7-Eleven sits at the resort entrance, with Dollar General and Food Lion each under 10 minutes away.

RESORT AMENITIES (2027 RATES MAY VARY)

- MPOA heated outdoor pool (4003 Resort Dr): $8 per person on weekdays, $10 on weekends

- Family Entertainment Center (4030 Massanutten Dr): bumper cars, go-karts and mini golf. $11 for ages 12+, $10 for ages 3 to 12

- Pickleball: $5, includes 4 rackets and 3 balls

- Basketball: $5, includes 1 basketball



MASSANUTTEN HOA RULES

This home is in a private residential neighborhood governed by the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA). Rental homes are found throughout MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests enjoying their retreat.



Noise

- Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Keep noise indoors during these hours.

- No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents.



Parking

- Keep all tires off the road.

- Don't block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval from your host.

- Park only in designated areas or the overflow lot at 4005 Peak Dr, Massanutten, VA 22840.

- No buses, campers or RVs at homes or on roads. The overflow lot is available with written approval from your host.



Outdoor fires

- High wildfire risk area.

- No open fires, fireworks, sparklers, charcoal or wood burning at any time.

- No unattended fires.

- No firepit use during quiet hours (10:00 PM to 7:00 AM).

- Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergencies. Check the Massanutten Village website or entrance sign for updates.



Alcohol

- No open containers on roads or in common areas.



Pets

- Leash required at all times outside.

- Clean up after your pets.



Trash

- Due to wildlife, never leave trash outside, including on porches, decks or carports. Please take all trash to the community dumpsters at 4005 Peak Dr, Massanutten, VA 22840, including at checkout.
