Convenient McCall lodging

Homey and comfortable place to stay for four people. Full kitchen with plenty of dishes, pans, etc. Close to downtown. Although our ground floor unit was noisy with people above us, we enjoyed our stay.

The condo was "clean" but there were hairs on the pillows and not enough new pillow cases. We killed a bunch of earwigs crawling around. It smells awful in this condo- like cigarette smoke that someone is trying to cover up. The rugs, pillows, and carpet have stains and it feels dingy like you don't want to touch anything or need to wash the dishes before using because it feels dirty. Wasn’t stocked well for kitchen supplies - needing more silverware, bowls, hand towels or washcloths.

Great week!

We traveled from NC to spend a week here over the 4th of July. A great place to stay, quiet and clean. Great facilities including a gym, pool and a very busy pickle ball court! Nice walk or bike ride to downtown. We will be back!

Great location. Great stay.

Played in a golf tournament. Within walking distance of course. Used all the amenities, pool, gym. Walking distance to lake and town. Perfect for up to 2 to four people.

Marvelous McCall Stay

Clean, centrally located cozy condo. It's well equipped for cooking in, bathrooms are well maintained, beds and furniture are comfortable. We would stay again.

Nice visit

We enjoyed our stay at Snowshoes condo. The unit was clean and the two large bedrooms were nice and roomy. The kitchen/living area was open and comfortable. The location was good, close enough to town and to the lake. We enjoyed using the swimming pool at the complex. We hope to rent this unit again sometime.

If you don't plan on spending time indoors, then it's OK. Otherwise, it's very depressing spending time indoors. What I paid and what we got is not compadable.

Ski Trip

Easy check in easy check out. Had to download another app to contact property manager but it seemed to work fine. Great location as well nice a close to downtown

Nice Getaway

My wife and I came for a long weekend and loved the scenery and the apartment. Nicely stocked kitchen, very clean, great club house. My wife and I also love pickleball and we were delighted to find the 4 courts within 100 yards of our door.

Weekend in McCall

Comfortable condo. Sleeps 6 if you count the couches. Furnished comfortably, ample space for our group. The wood stove is key as the electric heat did not even come close to heating.

Loved the home. It was clean , cozy , well decorated, good living space, and good location close to town and state park. That being said I was very disappointed with the accuracy of the listing. When it lists laundry you don’t expect it to be the laundry mat down the street. Private grill listed- there was not one. Use of private pool / pickle ball courts was noted in home with key — key was never found. I must have talked to at least 5 different people at Vacasa. I booked through Vrbo but Vacasa took over reservation and communication which was confusing . If those discrepancies were fixed we would definitely stay there again

Lovely area

The area is lovely! The home was pretty clean, there is mold on the caulk around the tub & shower, stains on the carpet in living room, when we took out the liner in one of the bathroom garbages the bin was filthy. But otherwise it was pretty clean. We fit 4 adults and 2 children comfortably. It could use a few more kitchen items; spoons, tongs..etc.. We enjoyed our stay here!!

Great condo & clubhouse

Great condo and clubhouse with 25 yd pool and hot tub. Kitchen could use a few more pans/utensils. Very clean. Didn’t use the bbq but it was there too.

4th of July stay

Loved the home. The home had good living space, well decorated , cozy, and was a good location. That being said I booked with VRBO but Vacasa took over reservation. I was very disappointed with the listing accuracy and communication with Vacasa When it states laundry is included I was told by Vacasa that it was public ( the laumdrymat down the street. )Listing stated that a private grill was available and was confirmed by my son who lives in building when booked. When I questioned it was told it was not included and was told it was not in Vacasa listing- so out of luck with the grill. In house listed that a key was available for access to outdoor pools/courts. No key was found. Was told by one agent at Vacasa that there was no key then received a call from another agent that there was a key. But key was never found. If these issues were fixed would definitely stay again.

Unacceptable cleanliness

I booked this property based on both listings (Vrbo and Vacasa) stating there was air conditioning—but there was none. That alone made for an uncomfortable stay in July. On top of that, the unit was not clean. There were alive bugs in the shower, black hair on the towels, and visible mold on the kitchen cutting board. I reached out to the property manager about these issues and requested some form of compensation for the discomfort, lack of cleanliness, and inaccurate listing but they only offered 10% which doesn’t even cover the taxes on the stay. Also, told my family and I that we should’ve departed if it was that bad. Disappointing experience overall, and I would not book this property again or any properties with Vacasa (property management).

McCall Weekend

In general, the unit was clean. A few more towels would have nice as the pool does not provide towels. Found a few disturbing details. The screen on the sliding glass door came off the track the first time I used it. The screen needed adjustment and the track as filthy which was part of the problem. Can't believe that this went unnoticed. Knifes were put back into the storage block dirty and found dead spiders in some of the cooking pots.

Plus and minus of stay

Overall the condo was great. We really liked the REAL WOOD STOVE. Used it a lot. One small downside it the construction of a small step down from the hall into the main living room. With one color carpet it is is dangerous - both of us stumbled once - no fall but attention getting, not in a good way. The construction is not the owners fault, but poor design by the architects/builders. A different colored carpet or some visual alert to the change in floor altitude might help.
