Bring your own Boat or Rent a Pontoon Boat from the Local Marina, you are responsible for any damage either way.

Ideally suited for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, water-skiing, canoeing, kayaking and all outdoor sports. Alpena is just a 30-minute drive where you can also take in a movie, festival, live theater production, or enjoy shopping in downtown.

Hubbard Lake covers 8,850 acres and is seven miles long (north-south) and two miles wide. It has a maximum depth of 85 feet with an average depth of 32.6 feet. The lake spans three townships: Caledonia, Alcona, and Hawes. This lake is known for its excellent bass, trout, walleye and yellow perch fishing and as a winter ice-fishing spot.
