28 DAY MINIMUM RENTAL

Walk the historic streets of Key West, live in Old Town in a quiet residential neighborhood. Just two blocks from Duval Street, it is a quick walk or bike ride to all of Key West's attractions, including it's close proximity to the Historic Seaport area. This is a lovingly restored eyebrow 3 bedroom house and is listed on the Key West's Historic House Registry. The house has one bedroom on the ground floor with king bed and full bath, upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds. The large pool with waterfall enhance your island experience, the ambient background sound of falling water and the neighboring tropical birds at Nancy's Secret Garden make this a delightful island getaway. The large deck surrounding the pool has a glorious, private outdoor shower. You can also lounge and dine al fresco around the pool. French doors lead back inside to a dining room and open kitchen. Bedding: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 twin

Nice home, wonderful location

We had a great stay at Elizabeth retreat. The house was very clean, and was as-advertised. It's an old home, and there are quirks with every old home--we know, we own one. The location was great and the house allowed us to relax and trule become part of the nice neighborhood. We were an easy waking sidatnce to Duval street, and I was able to walk to a nice gym each morning. The pool and deck area was just great and enjoyed every day. Overall, and great stay. Once complaint--as a designer, the interior could use an interior designer. Some of the furniture was terrific, while most pieces should really be discarded and replaced with newer pieces with more thought given to the overall look. The wall colors have you not knowing where to look for some relief. And small repairs are needed here and there, especially the kitchen cabinets. But these things did not impact our stay at all; everyone has different taste! My advice--stick to a tropical formula inside--white with pasted accents here and there. but this is a great spot!

Elizabeth Will Envelop You in Happiness and Serenity

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: At over 190 years old, this house embodies a palpable spirit of a hostess who loves to entertain her guests and offer them an oasis from everyday life. The pool deck was just replaced with luxurious teak wood, and the pool was resurfaced. The foliage is breathtaking and makes it so nobody can see you at the pool, it is completely secluded. The pool is the biggest one we found in the area, and not just a splash pool, big enough to play water volleyball. The pool can be lit up with various colors at night! They don't mention the glorious outdoor shower in the listing. The new central AC works perfectly and is strong. Elizabeth is centrally located, with Fausto's grocery 3 blocks away. Rent bikes and you will not need a car. Nancy's parrot sanctuary next door is a must-see and the sounds of the birds, add to the ambiance that makes you feel like you are a million miles away from civilization. Furnishings and decor are tropical and super comfortable. Management is quick to respond to any questions/requests that come up. We wish we were there right now!! We came in stressed from NY and after one day we were completely relaxed. We love you, Elizabeth, can't wait to be back in your embrace.

Great property;bad experience

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this property and rent it for March every year. This year our rental was terminated rated 9 days early when Monroe County ordered visitors to leave the Keys. We recei ed no communication from the rental company when the order was issued. I called the agency and had to leave a message on an answering machine. My call was never returned. I have received no offer of a refund for the days we were unable to stay and haven't even received a partial refund of our utilities deposit. The inaction of the rental agency is surprising because our past experience with Rent Key West has been excellent. Over the years we have rented from several Key West rental agencies and Rent Key West is by far the best.

Great location and outstanding patio/pool

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the house next door and having seen this house tried to rent it. After three years of trying it finally became available for the month of March. The house is old and needs some updating, as does some of the furnishings. However, it is well equipped and met all of our needs.The pool and patio area is the best we have experienced in the 20 years we have been renting properties in Key West. There is no better location for activities, sights and restaurants. Over the years we have rented through several rental agencies. Rent Key West is absolutely the best rental agency with whom we have dealt. No other agency comes close.
